Brad is great! Good lil dive bar in downtown Ouray. Cold beer and great drinks. Love the vibe!

We were recommended this bar by the Brewery next store when they closed at 9. It's cash only, but they have an ATM in the hallway you can use (for a $3.50 ATM few of course). They have one pool table, a set of darts and if I recall a Pac-Man video game. The bar smells very smokey when you come in, no one was smoking while we were there but I'm assuming it is a smoking bar. Bartender was semi friendly. I've definitely met nicer people. When our drinks were empty we had to ask for another, she didn't seem to care that we were sitting with empty glasses. They had a "fuck Yelp" sticker on the glass behind the bar. I was very tempted to ask for the WiFi so I could check in on yelp. Hah! All in all it's one of the only two places open late in the amazing town of Ouray, so you may find yourself coming here because it's the only place open.

Very rude and unprofessional behavior by female bartender and male GM/Owner. It's the only place I have not left a tip in 20 years.

This place would be great if the bartender wasn't so rude and arrogant. Super light pours with a inhospitable vibe

Owner very unprofessional and disrespectful to patrons. For a dive bar, very expensive drinks.

Since the bar is under new ownership there is no smoking inside and it's almost impossible to tell it was a smoking bar.

If you can, do it. It completely elevates the experience. The amuse-bouche was the perfect start to the meal, a bright, refreshing citrus bite with goat cheese, prosciutto, and a light acidic glaze. Thoughtful, balanced, and such a great opening note for the evening. Next was the butternut squash ravioli, and honestly, the sauce alone was memorable. Rich without being heavy, deeply flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal ends. We followed that with the ribeye, cooked medium-well, paired with potato fingers. The steak came with a fantastic chimichurri, and the chef even stopped by to recommend a finishing salt specifically for the ribeye. That level of attention to detail, combined with thoughtful table side service, really stood out. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the bar staff. The creativity behind the drink menu is impressive, and the cocktails are genuinely fun, inventive, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. It's no surprise the drink menu has recently won awards, and you can absolutely taste why. What truly made the experience special was watching the kitchen in action. The female lead chef was calm, focused, and clearly guiding the team with confidence. It felt like watching a well-orchestrated dance, and the food absolutely reflected that leadership. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she ends up with a spot on one of the Top Chef shows. This place is a must stop. Grab the chef's table if you can, enjoy the cocktails, and trust the kitchen. The talent here is real, and it shows.

We were allowed and encouraged to walk around the newly renovated historical building. After seeing the menu , we came back to have dinner after visiting Silverton. The food here is absolutely amazing!!! The charred eggplant with the nice olive oil and sourdough had the right touch - quality olive oil was a nice touch! The porkchop special was definitely a hit. Ravioli was surprisingly delicious! We loved all the food that was served and decided to order dessert. I hope we can make it back and have more of this great food! The Yelp review and rating is super deceiving . I'm glad I didn't decide to visit based on the rating :)

I didn't raise my voice or say anything mean towards her. All around she had a bad attitude. We went to leave and walked outside, we were on the sidewalk not even on their property anymore and she yelled at me saying I was very mean to her and the way I treated her. There was no reason for her to come outside to yell at me and then she yelled that I was a bitch. Then we went back inside to talk to management which was her mommy. Her mom the owner was just as rude, very unprofessional, said I need to grow up because I didn't want to pay for their high drinks, which we did pay for their drinks. Yelled at my husband saying how dare he let me talk to her daughter like that. I never raised my voice when we were eating and drinking. She then became very rude and defensive about that. Very bad customer service, horrible management/owner. Instead of apologizing for her daughter giving me the wrong price of a drink and didn't even attempt to take off $2 for it she got just as defensive and yelling at me and my husband. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing day, lunch, drive to Ouray which became a horrible experience and I felt like they were going after me waiting for me to do something. The waitress should have never gone outside to yell at me. We will never go back there and don't recommend this place.

They're still working out the kinks and the staff is all new. That's one of the reasons why professional critics wait a bit and then visit on multiple occasions before posting a review. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. My dog and I sat outside in their lovely courtyard. I ordered the blood orange margarita and it was fantastic. For dinner I had the chicken biscuit sliders which were also tasty. The staff was very attentive and personable. Since I was with my dog I didn't go inside but it looked cool. I'd love to go back.

A local was just leaving and commented how great the chef is. Our waitress was nice and got our drinks straight away. It wasn't busy just a couple other patrons. We placed our order after receiving our cocktails (7:30pm) the hasselback kielbasa, bologna sandwich & greens. As we waited a few more people arrived for dinner. I checked my watch at 8:10pm as we were almost finished with our drinks and still no food. I told our waitress if it wasn't out in 5 minutes we were leaving. At that point another woman came over with excuses... they had to remake the kielbasa & this was the reason for the delay. When I told her we placed our order 45 minutes ago she questioned my time reference and again provided no apology just excuses "We must understand they have only been open 2days", Then when they finally brought out the kielbasa they brought an extra plate as if my husband and I were sharing a meal... when I asked about the bologna sandwich we got the deer in the headlights look, this was enough for my husband to simply push back his chair and leave. I went to pay for our drinks (still no apology for our horrible experience) that's when they did comp the two drinks. It's a shame because the menu was very interesting. It doesn't matter how good the food is if your experience with the staff is horrible!!!! We were extremely disappointed!
