We've been to Silver Dollar City 4 times now and here's what I've learned.... get there 40 minutes before opening on a Sunday. No one will be there. Park in the free parking lot as close as you can get! Bring a small fanny pack with you, they won't check it. You'll get to do the pledge of allegiance & national anthem & the park will open. Make sure that while they're doing the POA & NA that you're sitting at the gate by time traveler. After that, do the time traveler and start making your rounds to all the other big rides before the heat. By this time it will be noon or close to it. Get a sweet treat & water, sit & relax, go see a show. Once you're done if you're done for the day, head out and stop by the taffy store & cinnamon rolls (SO good & worth the money for real). Then head to your favorite fast food restaurant at like 1-2 pm. Then you have time to get back to your room, shower, nap, and get ready for dinner! It's honestly perfect. I took a star off though because every time I'm at silver dollar city, powder keg is down. This time- powder keg, outlaw run, and fire in the hole were all down... so we went to the park to only ride Wildfire & Time Traveler twice plus the barn swing. It's hard because the park really isn't that big for thrill seekers.... you have your main big rides but if 2 of them are down it really stinks. They weren't just down for maintenance for a little bit and re-opened.... They were down for 2 full days which now makes me a little nervous I do love how much they love & respect America & veterans. The water refill stations are very nice. AC in all of the stores is a major win! read more

Silver Dollar City was an awesome experience. We had a two day pass, and used it all. Be prepared to walk up and down hills. Stay hydrated throughout your visit. It was super hot. The park offered free water and ice at all venues that sold food or drinks. The park staff was super friendly and well trained. This place is massive and we needed 2 days to do everything we wanted to do. There is free parking, and a shuttle to get you from the parking lot to the park. We were able to bring in lunch, snacks, and drinks. We rented a double stroller at a cost of $28 which worked well for our 3 year old and our food and drink's containers. There are rides and activities for all ages. We really enjoyed the train ride, and the interactions during that ride. If you are elderly you may want to consider renting a motorized assistance device to make your park experience more enjoyable. Getting in to and out of the parking lot was a breeze. You may want to consider a family photo to commemorate your visit. All in all there was fun had by all. read more

Having made multiple visits to Branson and Silver Dollar City, Tim and I hadn't returned to Silver Dollar City in about six years. The park had undergone changes, yet it remained an entertaining destination. The kids enjoyed the rides, Natalie and I conquered Miss Avery a 11-month-old in tow, ensuring she was fed and moving about in her stroller. I also rode the smaller rides with Eleanor, and I found some of these rides quite physically demanding due to the spinning, as Scarlett has moved on to bigger attractions. It was a fun filled day with laughs ,lots of food ,lots of resting stops for Nat and I . Who doesn't love silver dollar city. Whether you're into food, rides, or shows, this is a great way to spend the day with family. Check out the seasonal events and keep an eye out for discounts on tickets. If you're planning on coming more than once a year, get a seasonal pass or upgrade when you arrive. Plenty of free parking that you can tram to the park. Paid parking is closer to the front of the park. read more

This is the cutest amusement parked tucked in Branson's beautiful trees. As a girl from California, I was really impressed with silver dollar city. From its yummy food selection to unique shows and roller coasters. There's something to do for everyone, all ages! I loved the time travelers ride the most. The loaded chips were my favorite - the Buffalo chicken ones especially. I'll never forget the twisted potato on a Stick! I love how you can add dry seasonings after. You can't go wrong with tomato and salt and vinegar. Pro tip; wear your comfiest walking shoes. There are soo many hills. You'll get your steps in! Pack for any kind of weather. It poured down on us and there wasn't much rain in the forecast. lol. read more

Silver Dollar City was one of the highlights of our trip. The setting is beautiful, we really enjoyed the woodsiness and natural feel of the park. The weather was great during our visit, and while the hills can be a bit brutal at times (especially pulling a wagon), it's totally worth it. Super thankful we brought our wagon, that made a huge difference. The fall decorations was awesome, loved the vibe that time of year. It wasn't very busy (compared to other amusement parks we've been to) when we went, especially on the first day which was a Thursday, which made everything more enjoyable. We did the Marvel Cave tour, which was a standout experience. Our daughter loved the kids' roller coaster and some of the other smaller attractions. We also rode the train, which was a fun way to take a break and see more of the park. Unfortunately, the Mystic River Falls water ride was closed both days, which was disappointing since our daughter really wanted to try it. We considered the Trailblazer Pass but ended up not getting it since the lines weren't too bad and we weren't doing a ton of rides overall. Food-wise, most of what's offered in the park is classic fried carnival-style fare, heavy and not particularly great. After lunch the first day, I wasn't feeling great and had to find some protein to balance it out. That said, snacks like Dippin' Dots and kettle corn were fun for our daughter. We used free general parking both days and had no major issues. On the second day, traffic was way heavier, and we had to park way out, which required taking the bus in -- not ideal, but manageable. I bought tickets in advance because I thought you got a discount but then the price displayed when I was walking in seemed the same so not sure why. Overall, Silver Dollar City has a lot of charm and character, and we had a great time despite a few bumps. It's a solid family destination and definitely a place we'd go back to, just maybe with a better plan for food. read more

On the whole, I feel like this is one of the last truly "theme" parks left in America where rather than just a place where you go for rides and thrills, you get to experience a whole different world alongside those rides and thrills. They do up everything to really give you the old town America feel - the scenery, the costumes, the voices, the layout, the rides, the experiences, the shops, and so on - and the employees follow suit as well; I truly haven't seen a theme be done up better. While I am generally a ride-focused person, it is so neat to see things such as the glassblowing and candle making, go on the cave tour, and watch the shows and old school music acts. The food is pretty solid too, just as you'd imagine back in the day, and overall, it's just a pleasant place. The thing that would make this a 5-star is if they didn't emulate the lax manner of old school America when it comes to facilitating rides. While I'm still down for the theme carrying over, moving a bit more swiftly to move people in and out would be great so that rides don't take so long; it just seemed to be a commonplace thing, despite being there on days when they weren't terribly crowded. read more

For someone from Texas, all I hear about Silver Dollar City is that it's a must see attraction in Branson. Our experience was very similar to a long day at an amusement park (think Six Flags) with overpriced admission tickets, long lines, terrible and expensive food especially the chicken tenders at Lady Liberty, and broken down frozen lemonade stands. Even icee machine was broken. I would not recommend for families with young kids. read more

To start off with, it's Silver Dollar City. One of my fave places. I love visiting the City. I love watching the blacksmith. Love watching the glass blowers - always! Love watching the candy making. Great rides, lots of eats, drinks n snack stands to choose from. Live entertainment throughout the day in the City, and it's fun to walk the shops. Attached is a photo from 2023 Fall Festival. I couldn't even list all the amazing things about Silver Dollar City. But as an aspiring Elite Yelper I'll certainly try... lol Free parking. Tiered parking if you want to pay various amounts and skip the tram. Several days we did late entry and the parking lot was empty so we parked super close skipping the tram which saved time at closing when there is a slight line for the tram. Other choose to walk and it gives an estimate of time on a sign of how long it will take you to walk to your specific lot. Sunday 10am we loved the Wilderness Church service. Very accommodating and welcoming to all who wanted to attend. Near the front of the park. Sang several and a message from pastor. Truly enjoyed. We petted goats and donkeys, saw a horse barn, pottery being made, glass and pottery shops, build a bear shop, Treehouse play area for kids, rode the carousel countless times, a real steam train plus "robbers" show, Flooded Mines shooting ride for littles, and WHOLE fire district with Lucky meet and greet, hot air balloons, ladder ride, mini swings, fire wagon ride, the indoor playhouse for littles and AC for adults, several water areas like mister and splash pad and rides to cool down such as the super popular Mystic, lots of shaded seating along the path, plenty of bathrooms, cute shops. Incredible roller coasters like Powder Keg, Wildfire, Time Traveler, walk across the swinging bridge, watching the bread makers, the circus show, FIRE IN THE HOLE was incredible we rode it so many times, balloon toss game at the plaza, the teacups and wings of wonder and giant swings WITH the littles at the back of the park and the grand exposition roller coaster my daughter loved. The cinnamon bread!!! Yummmmm. And Starbucks coffee served iced or hot everywhere, wax hand, ring toss, comedy show!!, kid meal prices are great, ice cream DELISH (hi blueberry swirl near giant swings) and (hi chocolate ice cream at Hannah's w the AC) grandfathers mansion is soooo cool for kids. Marvel CAVE included with price of admission! Incredible view, great cave tour guide. Def worth attending if you don't mind stairs. My 4 and 5 year old loved it! There were so many amazing memories made at SDC. It's easy to come in the AM take an afternoon break then catch a few hours end of day. Esp if you stay nearby. We had an Airbnb at Cove Point. We were here for 6 days in June 2025. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We made memories that will last forever. I highly recommend Silver Dollar City and you should get the unlimited summer pass so you don't feel rushed to fit everything into 1-2 days. It really made a difference! I came as a kid and this was just such an amazing full circle experience bringing my littles who lived it with my hubby and parents. read more

The amusement park is fun for two adults, and I imagine kids have more fun. We paid for the fast lane passes and boy was it worth it. We walked onto every ride and rode everything about three times. The cave tour is pretty awesome and worth the wait for sure. We went right after lunch and it was a nice break to cool off and see amazing things. Good- we ate at Molly Mills lunch buffet. It gets 4 by itself. It's a little busy to get through but nice once you sit down. The food is home style food but made in bulk. No, the biscuits won't melt in your mouth, but the food is good for a buffet. It was $43 for two adults. A little pricey I think, but I should have ate more I guess. read more

While I truly love this park I have to give it a single star for the sham of a "vacation packages" they sponsor on their website. The hotel I booked had the listing changed after I booked. When I got to the hotel I was informed they only received the booking that day (booked 90+ days before). When I tried to call and sort out the issue, the place is only open from 9-5.... Very unprofessional and quite a way to drive away business. This incident has definitely negatively impacted my view and trust in the brand of silver dollar city. read more

Silver Dollar City is such a fun, family-oriented place! We had a great time overall, but I did have a frustrating experience at the ticket desk. I believe the woman's name was Sheryl--or maybe Sharon--I'm not entirely sure. I simply asked if I needed to purchase a ticket for a 6-month-old baby, since he's so young and obviously wouldn't be going on any rides. Instead of answering the question kindly, she responded in an extremely rude tone, saying, "Well, why would you leave him?" Then she added, "Don't leave a baby at home--definitely take him." I understand my wording may have caused some confusion, but the way she reacted was completely uncalled for. She seemed annoyed throughout the entire interaction, gave me dirty looks, and kept insisting I needed to buy a ticket if he wants to ride anything, even after I explained multiple times that he wouldn't be riding anything. It felt like she was talking down to me and trying to tell me how to parent my own child. It honestly took nearly 15 minutes just to get a clear answer, which should have been a simple yes or no. Please consider speaking with your staff about the importance of basic politeness and common sense when interacting with guests--especially in a place that's supposed to be welcoming to families read more

Lots of fun rides and food with lots of other fun things to do with kids while you're there!

I love this theme park, while it has a Christian theme it does not take away from everyone having a good time. You park in the parking lot then take a shuttle over to the main area. Wait for the shuttle is not long. We bought our tickets online because there was a deal. Employees were all very nice. There are food, shows, rides, and a cave. Food was pretty good for a theme park. The Christmas Carol show is worth watching despite the long line. I loved the different kinds of rollercoasters, a lot of different than Six Flags, Disney, and Universal. Favorite rollercoasters are Outlaw Run, Wildfire, and Time Traveler. I recommend doing the Marvel Cave, it's free with your ticket. Other highlights are the apple cider and there's a buffet that you can eat for lunch or dinner. Buffet has some good quality food. I believe the name is Miss Molly's Mill restaurant. Worth checking out if you're in town. read more

Can't recommend this place enough! Super family friendly! If you go during Christmas it gives you such a nostalgic childhood Christmas feel! The lights the fun rides the meaningful story you get on the train ride about the birth of Jesus Christ the list goes on. They have tons of ride options we started taking my son here when he was 4 and they have a separate areas for "kiddie" rides everything from flying elephants to swings. Then for older kids and adults they have even more options! The first time we went we did a two day pass and found it to be more than enough time. Second time we did a 1 day Las got there the time they opened and stayed up until closing it was plenty. During Christmas they also have their famous "parade" featuring Rudolph santa etc. it's precious the parade runs twice in the evening. Throughout this park they have little shops everything from food, clothes, soap, glass blown items etc. Also an ample amount of dining places throughout we've always had the best of luck at the bbq place. Try and go during off peak hours for not long lines! read more

The cabins at Silver Dollar City Campgrounds were beautiful, my word. I could not begin to describe the nature and beauty that surrounded the campsite. Our cabin came with a queen bed at the bottom and 3 beds on the second floor. It was so spacious, clean and luxurious. It also had a front and back patio. The back patio was gorgeous and had rocking chairs and a grill to just hang out and I mean, it was about the most peaceful place you could stay at. Check in was after 4:00pm -- which was a pain because that's so late and check out was at 10:00am which was also a pain because that's so early! The staff were very nice and let us check in at 3:30pm and let us check out at 11:00am because there were no other reservations after us so that worked out. We didn't get to check out the store or gameroom but I can definitely tell you how clean that place was and it was a gorgeous place and I can't see staying anywhere else! Especially if you are going to Silver Dollar City! read more

So much fun for all ages. We brought our 9 month old & 4 year old. They have a decent selection of rides. It was very clean. There are a lot of hills to walk. Pricing on food was reasonable. They have several locations of mothers nursing rooms and they were all very, very nice (thank you!). We will definitely come back in a few years. read more

Mold smell in the air conditioner upstairs, we didn't even run it after we found out where the smell was coming. Toaster n coffee pot was disgusting!! Bathroom fan had some much dust n buildup we were afraid if it catching fire. Mold strong around the shower floor. Wooden table n benches were so sticky we had to set on towels. Had crumbs in the upstairs beds. We will not stay there again or recommend it for anyone. read more

Silver Dollar City is an internationally awarded 1880s-style theme park located in Branson, Missouri, that features record-breaking coasters, live shows & concerts, 100 resident craftsmen, award-winning restaurants, and unique shops - all sitting atop one of Missouri's deepest caves. I've been going here since I was 2 years old. (I'm now 14 and will be turning 15 in June 2024) I love this place and my only regret is not riding rides sooner! I love Powder Keg and this year I will finally ride Wildfire, my first Roller Coaster with inversions. I recommend getting tickets in advance so you don't have to wait hours in line (especially on weekends). I do also recommend going on a weekday if possible, weekends are unbelievably busy, and never go on Christmas Eve. I will never make that mistake again. We waited 2 hours just to get into the park and then we didn't even get to ride any rides because the wait time was 2 to 3 hours. The Christmas lights are beautiful but go earlier if you can. Now here is a description of each roller coaster and other rides, (optional to read but recommended if you haven't been to the park and see if you like any of these roller coasters) Grand Exposition Coaster- A kiddie roller coaster (recommended for little kids to a certain height and age, great first coaster) Fire in the Hole- Inside dark coaster with only 3 drops Powder Keg- A launch coaster. Wildfire- Steel Coaster with 5 inversions Thunderation- Wooden Rollercoaster Outlaw Run- Wooden roller coaster with 3 inversions (2 barrel rolls) Time Traveler- Spinning Roller Coaster with 3 inversions and two launches Flooded mine- dark shooting coaster Fireman's landing- Drop Tower Electro Spin- Spinning and going side to side I will now include pictures of each ride There are water rides but I did not include them because I didn't get to ride them except one because they weren't open when I went and when they were I was too small to go. This concludes my review and I hope you have fun if or when you go! Have a good day! read more

Do not stay here if you don't want to bring bed bugs home! We stayed in C5 and found a bed bug on the bed. Did my own research (Yelp) and found that this very cabin had the same problem 4 months ago. Staff admitted this has been a recurring problem with this cabin and that a "new" colony was found after I reported my finding to them. Not sure why they would continue to put guests in this cabin, but they do. I canceled all future reservations here. I was comped the first night but paid for my remaining nights in another cabin. Now heading home to hopefully sterilize everything, replacing as much as possible and leaving the rest in a freezer for 5 days or fumigating what can't be frozen. Just hoping I don't bring a bed bug problem home! Aside from the bed bug issue, the cabins were nasty. There were cob webs in multiple corners, floors were unswept (swept up a few other dried up bugs and centipedes off the floor myself), and sinks were nasty. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay! read more

I would say for two seniors there's not a lot to do for those over 65 for the cost. The park is decorated very nicely and think the senior discount is not deep enough for us to return. Saloon show was entertaining and country duet under gazebo were the best professional singers. Not many rides for seniors not wanting to get on a high roller coaster at our age. A lot of walking for shops & food which could have been found in Branson. We should have just invested in a Branson show like Sights & Sounds. Great place for couples with teens and kids however for a fun day. read more

Thanksgiving Getaway! I have to say I was a little hesitant after booking cabin C-5, to find out about a bedbug concern on a review through Yelp. I reached out to the staff and was quite surprised on how quick they responded and shared with me there active approach to resolving a concern that honestly at times can be out of anyone's control. The campground is gorgeous and gives a rustic feel that makes it really feel like a holiday getaway. The staff member who greeted me was super friendly and accommodating! The office has a family room with a pool table and games, a general store and the ability to purchase firewood on-site. We booked a year ago, and must say the discount is a must for what you get in return. read more

I, along with the rest of my family, were eaten up with bed bugs in Cabin C5 on June 10th-13th. The Manager, Nick, refused to believe this and blamed mosquitoes. Everyone from our other cabin never received any bites, despite attending the same shows and parks we did, so this was obviously related to the cabin we were in. Anyone who could see the bites could identify without a shadow of a doubt they were bed bug bites (pictures were provided). Instead of working with us, they denied the bugs were even there. Absolutely never coming back, and praying my entire body stops itching. read more

During my family's trip to SDC we came across a wonderful employee named Hayden Edgeworth he was working at Crossroads the pizzeria at the time, and he had the best customer service we've ever seen and with that being said the entire time he was working he always kept a smile. He took our order he served us our pizza which wasn't the best but it is a theme park ( we think there's a lot of false advertising) tasted worse than frozen. But Hayden's constant joyful attitude and wonderful customer service made it better. I was going to ask for a manger to show him som recognition for his hard work but the lady in blue we think her name was Kim she was ignoring me. I went to silver dollar city and as soon as we arrived, it started raining. Then the park closed rides till the storm passed it never did, ending up leaving, went to customer service desk, to get a refund, they said no way, gave passes to come back till end of the year. let them know I was from Out of Town; they didn't care to accommodate me. I tried to dispute charges on my Visa card, was denied. Now I'm stuck with a 172.00 payment I have nothing to show for. This place is AWESOME! I've been to Disney, Busch Gardens and all of the fun Florida theme parks a bunch of times, and they're all pretty much the same. There are roller coasters, overpriced fried food and some stores. Silver Dollar City is so much more than that. There are great (and scary!) roller coasters, water rides, and really good food. The park is 1800s themed, and in the candy shop there are women making candy the old-fashioned way. In other parts of the park you can watch men blowing glass, and even making nails. There's just so much to do in SDC, so make sure you take a full day to check it out. read more

Fabulous fun! This place is like 3 parks in one. 1. the Marvel Cave. The original attraction: take a tour (included in admission) of these natural caves--wear good shoes! 2. the Amusement Park. Water Rides, Rollar coasters, and shows galore! 3. The 1800's Town: This place has reconstructed old cabins, an old church, schoolhouse, etc. and also have lots of artisans just doing their thing here and there all around the park. It's hard to believe they don't really live there because it feels like a real community, everyone's super duper sweet. :) ALSO- get 2 days for 1 from the Branson Tourism Center. The Wilderness Campground is nicely kept. The pool opens after/ for Memorial weekend and is usually quite clean. There is an upper small play ground near the pool and a "lower" play ground. The store is well stocked with most items That you may need/ want. The staff is great! Out first time here ( 5 yrs ago) we arrived late at night and a gentleman employee helped me direct my husband our new camper into the spot. The bathrooms/ showers are always clean and well kept. There is a bus that transports You to Silver Dollar City of you choose. The only negative I can think of... The road is narrow and trees are close which make backing difficult when you have a 38' 5th wheel but if you have an awesome backer ( like my husband) you will be ok or else try to get a pull through. read more

It's a great theme park. A lot of rides and attractions to do. It's similar to its sister park Dollywood. Also holds a lot of Christian aspects. Like for Christmas having a lager scene. Plus with the current time they push the mask policy as well as social distancing. For fold they have some gold fold like molly mill amd snack areas. Refills for a suvenere cup are close to $2 which is high in my opinion. Also they don't sell beer as well. It's a great park I recommend it. Also to get In like most parks with temp check and say yes or no to Covid stuff plus go threw a metal detector. Parking can be step between $10 to $55. read more

Great place to take the family for the Christmas Holiday season. The rest of the year may be just as great, but haven't been able to visit during the other seasons. Purchased the meal pass in 2022 Christmas season and many places ran out of the specialty item on the passes. (Minus one star) We didn't purchase the perk in 2023 due to that reason. I am glad we didn't as we over heard several conversations (mid-day) that the vendors ran out again this time we visited the park as well. Other than the special food items not being available, this venue is a great place with excitement ranging from roller coasters to gentle kid rides. It has a ton of shops, artist attractions (ranging from blacksmithing performance song and dance), and lights and music for the Christmas season. Decently clean environment with lots of people around willing to help point you in the right direction. Highly recommend for any size family! read more

We drive to town and saved money so... We could live better! Got to the cabin it was a nice quaint little place with a double bed, a single bed, and a rollaway so... That was cool they however were not comfortable at all!!! Had a lil kitchen and a nice little bathroom with a shower! There was also 2 rocking chairs and a porch on the front and back!!!
