Flatiron steak with Brussel sprouts and garlic spinach
    Deloney D.

The "silver" diner was very shiny outside and inside. I really enjoyed that part of the experience. It was so clean. There's a small jukebox box machine at the table. That was a serious blast from the past. We got in 45 minutes before close and were served quickly. My medium well steak was still a little pink inside. However, it wasn't bleeding and was so tender. I can't complain. While the Brussels sprouts look unimpressive they tasted great! I didn't care for the crunchy onions or the garlic spinach really. Something of note was that, when I asked for substitutions, there was no hesitation. I've experienced at other restaurants this can really be an issue. There were lots of good menu choices. I will visit again. I held back a star because, while we got in under the wire, other customer was turned away at 20 minutes before close by one individual then someone else came much closer to close and a different employee welcomed them in. If we're turning people away. We need to be on one accord.

I was in a hurry today and solo so Sat at the bar today to get in and out quickly! Was greeted fast and food was out in like 5-10 min! Sitting at the bar is interesting you become almost part of the diner inherent chaos (the charm of a diner) . The teamwork if getting food out fast was fun to watch real time. Servers helping each other to ensure everyone got hot food as soon as ready was nice to see. Start to finish was out if there in under 25! Had to post again cause the bar experience was new to me.

Love the ambiance of this place. I've always like the feel of diners from the past and this place fully embodies it. The waitress that we had was attentive and quick with our service. We ordered the country fried steak and eggs, grilled cheese with ham, and a kids chicken tenders. All the food was delicious generously portioned and temperature was right out of the kitchen. I 100% recommend this place!

Love me some Silver diner! Me and my husband came here for a date day brunch. I always try avocado toast everywhere I go to see what's different from restaurant to restaurant and I loved the micro greens on top of theirs! They also made the perfectttttt over medium egg . My husband loved his entree I forgot the name of what he ordered but he inhaled it in about 4 minutes . Wait staff was punctual and professional, and we will be back

I've been a few times, the food never tastes the same. My last visit I really enjoyed my food and the customer service was amazing. This time I wasn't given butter or syrup with my meal. I also asked for hot sauce and didn't get it. I had to wait several minutes before getting someone's attention who did give me the items needed right away and asked if we needed anything else. I was really looking forward to my meal after it tasting so good the last time just to be disappointed with the taste and customer service from our server.

    Diner heaven.

I'm disappointed ... that I don't find myself on this stretch of road, so I could eat here more!! When you're on the road 250+ days a year like I am, you have certain "go to" meals. For breakfast, mine is corned beef hash. And the corn beef hash here is absolutely the best anywhere I've ever had, tasty and flavorful and amazing. The biscuits are perfect. And the tropical mimosa was mind-boggling. It was so good. I love the place. I just wish I had more reason to be in this area of the state.

Southwest turkey club. Came with fries and coleslaw.

We stopped at this location to have an early dinner. We were promptly greeted and seated. The dining room was not busy. We decided on the bacon blue burger and the southwest club sandwich. Food was tasty, fries were served nice and hot. Shout out to Joel!!! He provided quick, great, and efficient service. Very personable. We will return to try other dishes.

When we first moved here, we were looking for another diner for our weekly breakfast dates and love silver diner! The staff is friendly and the food is good.

    Kickin short rib burger
    Latoya J.

I can honestly say this is the best burger I've ever had. The short rib burger was phenomenal--seasoned perfectly, incredibly juicy, and cooked to perfection. What really set it apart was the tender, delicious short rib nestled right in the middle. I had underestimated Silver Diner, thinking it was just another average breakfast spot, but this burger (and the fries!) completely changed my mind. I'm truly blown away by the quality and flavor of this dish. Our server Hassan was friendly, patient and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back soon for another late night meal.

Thai cauliflower quinoa pasta w/grilled chicken and peach tea unsweetened
    Joelle M.

Came in for brunch , sat right away no wait. Has a was the server , brought drink and then came for order. Manager came by to take order due to menu at the table-kept in case I wanted dessert. Changed drink for unsweetened peach tea, but went back to original. Peach tea is way too sweet. Ordered Thai Cauliflower Quinoa pasta and added grilled chicken: tasty and quite filling. No dessert needed. Nice to see everyone helping clear tables, wiping off tables, etc and with a smile. Thanks for another great food experience.

    The Just Egg Benedict!

Outstanding Vegan-Friendly Service and Delicious Breakfast! We had an amazing experience at Potomac Mills Silver Diner today, thanks to our server, Josette. She provided some of the best customer service we've had in a while! As vegans, we appreciated her knowledge and guidance in helping us make informed choices from the breakfast menu. I was torn between the Just Egg Breakfast Tacos and the It's Back! Just Eggs Benedict, and after some deliberation, Josette asked, "What would you like that's different between the two?" That simple yet thoughtful question helped me realize it was the tempeh bacon I was craving--so Just Eggs Benedict it was! The meal was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be back to try the tacos next time. Highly recommend this location for great food and exceptional service!

Our server was Doreen, and she was a doll! Just so sweet and attentive! We will always be happy to sit in her section any day. The parking lot was mostly full and DH had to drive around to find a parking space. This was an indication of what the inside might look like. So I went inside to get a table or join the waiting list while DH found a parking space. There were 2 people talking and I heard the guy tell the girl to ask how she could help me before he walked away, but she didn't acknowledge me. Instead she walked away, too. Another guy (he was super tall) came up to me and asked if I had been helped and I told him that I had not been. He grabbed 2 menus and I was seated immediately. Doreen greeted me and grabbed some waters. DH found our table and we looked over the menu. Doreen came and she checked on us several times while we decided what to order. When we finally ordered, DH and I sat and chatted. We noticed some of the AC vents were dripping on the tables as people were either eating or being sat to eat. Some customers were requesting to move to different tables and employees were wiping the condensation off the vents. The restaurant felt cool, but I overheard an employee say something about the weather being so hot and it being cooler inside, or something along those lines, and this was making the vents drip. I have no idea, but it was unfortunate for those tables. I did notice the music was definitely didn't match the jukebox music. The music playing was much more current. The music from the jukeboxes give the place a different feel. No big deal, the music was still good. Anyway, our food came out and it was delicious. The eggs were on point and the biscuit was the best part! Just - bit crunchy on the outside when you took a bite. There was a sweet taste to it, like honey. Maybe it was spread on top? But it was nicely done. The roasted home fries were pretty good, but they were a little cold. (They weren't terrible.) The bacon was somewhere between crispy and soggy. I prefer crispy and maybe I should have asked for that, but I didn't. I ate them anyway. Overall, the experience was pretty good. We would go back and hope to be seated in Doreen's section. She was just so pleasant!

How do the jukeboxes work? Should I bring quarters?

Yes bring quarters. The play list is various genres.... Not just from the 50's and 60's. They songs are played in order as a first come first serve. If no one feeds the jukebox and picks music then nothing is played.

Do U even have an EXPO on duty?! Do they check orders as they leave the kitchen?! I ordered a FAMILY SIZED Cesar salad and got a salad for 1! I ordered 2 dressings & got 1!!! I have photos of the salad! They are supposed to use the bigger round bowl for family sized salads! This rectangle bowl is much smaller. And, they didn't pack it nearly full of romaine! Much of the romaine that is in the bowl is discolored & bad! I am beyond dissatisfied. I'm angry. This is NOT even close for a $35 salad! We need more romaine & more dressing! I have stupidly spent far too much at this place. Corporate needs to get involved. Every time we order, the bag is way over packed -- ever think of using 2 or more bags?! -- and liquids are NEVER secured! I have experienced countless deliveries with soup, salad dressing & the oil for bread turned upside down, pouring out of the bottom & bottom side of the bags! My Uber driver even told them tonite to make sure the bag was assembled correctly. They added 4 staples at the top of the bag!!! How is that going to help my delivery?! Are U serious?! One of the managers, Alex, is nice. But, our deliveries are still arriving WRONG! He drove to deliver salad dressing once that was completely eliminated from my bag. We ordered the family size salads! And, I always order an extra bowl of dressing. Again tonite, I got just 1 bowl of dressing! Where's my second one?! And, where's the romaine?! The pricing is astronomical for these sloppy things to keep happening. Alex/other managers, U need to do 3 things: o Tell your staff to READ ORDERS before preparing them! (Why do they keep leaving out the 2 orders of salad dressing I order?! It happened again tonite.) o Tell your kitchen staff CONSISTENCY MATTERS! (Prepare decent sized portions & make sure portions are exactly the same per order!) NOTE: We got chicken & fries a few days ago & it was crazy! We ordered a bunch of them for the family. Two orders were acceptable -- they had a decent amount of chicken and fries. The other 3 orders were awful! There were barely any fries in them & the chicken was in tiny, little pieces. Another example, we ordered a focaccia loaf a couple days ago. It arrived warm & soft. Ordered 2 more tonite & it arrived cold and hard. What the frick is going on?! How hard is it for staff to execute their jobs professionally?! CONSISTENCY MATTERS! o Buy THICK CARDBOARD INSERTS to put in the bottom of delivery bags! I'm done having my soup, salad dressing & oil for bread leaking out of the bags! It gets all over the food items inside the bag, it gets on the Uber driver & in their cars. And, I'm out the proper amount of soup, salad dressing & oil that I ordered & paid for. Does any of this make sense?! If staff don't care -- it shows -- just close down the restaurant.

I had heard the quality had gone down since the Evan's family sold the business and I can confirm.. This is not the Bob Evan's I remember. Walking in, there is no obvious host stand, I stand by the checkout looking around and finally someone asks me if I want to eat in and i say yes. Walking into this Bob Evan's, which was my first time, I liked the design and decor, Bob Evan's use to have a counter you could sit at and eat, and this one does not have one. Not sure if they got rid of that in all restaurants but it gave Bob Evan's some old time charm... The menu is totally different, and took a while for me to take in, to see what they offered, if they still had my favorites, which I was happy to see they did. My server, Robin was sort of nice but sort of pushy. Kept asking me if I was ready when I said I was still looking like 3 times in under 5 minutes. Sure on one hand that's nice, but I wanted to sit there, take it in and relax. I dropped my daughter off at school and wanted to take my time and enjoy my first visit to Bob Evan's in years. I ordered hotcakes and bacon and asked for biscuits. Biscuits here were ALWAYS amazing. I can't remember one time I had a really bad biscuit here. They were always thick and fluffy and oh so good. The pancakes I always remembered them as big pancakes. They were fluffy pancakes, and took up the entire plate. And what's what they show you on the menu. Bacon always tasted fresh cooked. I got my pancakes and bacon. And no biscuits. Which I reminded them I asked for biscuits and they got them for me. No problem, mistakes happen. But again the Bob Evan's of the old, biscuits were the first thing you got, not an afterthought. I looked at these, umm biscuits and wondered if they had a sponsorship with the NHL. These looked like they could be certified as hockey pucks. Stabbing my fork in them to split them, there was no fluffiness to them. I put butter on them and besides looking like hockey pucks, I could tell they had been sitting under a hot lamp for what seems like hours... I could not eat both of them, they were so dry and chewy and had no redeeming quality to them. Next bacon... yummm.. well... Not so much. The bacon was not under any sort of hot lamp or container to help keep it warm, the three slices of bacon, where meaty and had decent flavor but again they were cooked hours ago. I came at 11am, which yes is close to lunch time but come one. I mean come on.. This is a SIT DOWN RESTAURANT. People come to sit down restaurants expecting FRESH COOKED food. Not stuff that is cooked hours in advance for speed and cutting corners to save money. Last. Pancakes... Looking forward to a plate full of pancakes and what I got, when I first saw them, i thought I ordered a kids meal by mistake. They were small and thin. They had an ok taste, but not as I remembered and were chewy like the batter was over mixed. Cashing out, the guy who rung me out, first not once was I asked how was my food which kinda surprised be, but with the garbage they served me, I can understand why. But i will say he was very nice, talked to me, made me feel welcome and we had a few laughs and he did. Thank me for coming in. This is a perfect example of of someone of a family business's being acquired by another company and make changes that ruin something that use to be good. Attached are photos of my NHL hockey pucks and pictures of the pancakes I got as well as a reference photo from Bob Evan's website showing what they expect you to be getting.

I did that, got the text, then a few minutes later it got canceled because I wasn't there yet. I called back and explained what I was told, and they fixed it. When I got there, the line was long, so I'm glad I did that ahead of time. Service was a little slow, and it seemed like they might've been short staffed. We had to wait for a lot of things, and they were out of quite a few items. My brother ordered chicken tenders and they later said they were out. They didn't have the sauce for the lamb chops, and I wanted mac and cheese without bacon but they didn't have that option. But the food we did get was really good. The lamb chops were good, this was my sister's first time trying them and she loved them. The spinach dip with pita bread was good, and the complimentary bread and mashed potatoes were good too. I ended up getting parmesan crusted fries instead of the mac and cheese, and those were good too. My siblings didn't really like the lemonades, but everything else made up for it. They also gave them a little birthday treat, which was really sweet. Overall, even with a few issues, we all agreed this is one of the best restaurants we've been to. The place was clean, the food was good, and we'll go again soon.

From…read moreRichmond Hwy, made a right onto Colonial St as the gps guided me but where the location is pinned, it doesn't exist. So I continue on Colonial St, see a big parking garage that reads Rose Gaming Resort, went up the ramp and parked. I went into the elevator, took a guess and push down to the 1st floor. Well there it was .. the food court with multiple restaurants inside the resort in which didn't stated beforehand. In the lobby, there's 6 establishments on the 1st floor such as Crab Tastic, R' Burger, Mama Mia's Italian Kitchen, Southern Spin Kitchen, The Bar and Corner Store. But you have to check the listings as they do not open on the same days and hours. During Mondays-Wednesdays, you have to place your order at the Corner Store for Southern Spin Kitchen and R' Burger. There were 3 items: 1) Chicken and Waffle Sliders 2) Fried Chicken 3) Peach Cobbler. The sliders were unique, waffles were fluffy and chicken were crispy. You get 3 portions served with crispy fries and slaw but never received the slaw but everything was delicious. The fried chicken platter is served with two sides of choice (collard greens and mac n' cheese). Be careful with the first bite as the fried chicken is piping hot. The two sides are were delicious but the collard greens were too sweet for me. The peach cobbler was supposed to be à la mode in which the kitchen staff of SSK informed they ran out of ice cream. As I return to the cashier named Tasia F, I informed her of what SSK staff told me about the ice cream. With the assistance of another cashier named Allie, I was informed that cashier Tasia F went searching through other kitchens within the resort to see if ice cream was in stock. Unfortunately there wasn't any ice cream available which was okay. I wasn't expecting anything because I understand if supplies were short. But I had excellent service with these two cashiers who were friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and beyond customer service. I would make future visit to try other items on their menu as well as other establishments

We had to place our order at another counter (minimal staffing at all restaurants in the food court). The rotisserie chicken was pretty good, collard greens and baked beans are prepared with pork (fyi). Substitutions for chicken pieces are not allowed. My husband had the smothered pork chops which he really enjoyed. His only complaint was there wasn't as much gravy as he would've liked on the pork chop but instead was covered in a lot of mushrooms. We would definitely visit again!
