I've been going here and supporting them for years. I've got good tires bad tires and never once did I complain because you get what you pay for. A used tire is a used tire. What I've learned when buying used tires you have to ask them what they got and to see it before they install it. Today they tried to give me another bad tire that wasn't going to last me that long which was fine because I can ride that for a month or two but I can't pay 55 when you know it's not one of the good ones would normally sell me at that price. The guy putting the tire on said he couldn't do nothing bout the price so I asked where was the boss lady that takes payment and he said she was in the office and he didn't mind if I spoke with her. So I goto to the office to holler at my girl, which by the way is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Her and her husband always treat me well and practice good business. So i get to speaking with her about the tire and how the only one that they got isn't going to last that long and I need a better price than what they asking especially because she knows I'm a regular customer with multiple vehicles and I also had brung multiple people that still visit them frequently as well. So Im in there talking to her and this lady smiling and I'm smiling and we both cool and her comes her fake tough ass son talking about he don't like how I'm talking to his mom. The look we both gave was like what. He said something in Spanish and he said the way I came in was wrong I can't demand or set the prices. I said you absolutely right explained to him that I know his mom been there plenty of times never disrespected her and never will apologized to her if she felt disrespected she knew he pissed me off and he tried to let me have the tire cheaper but at that point I didn't want it because it's so many options to choose from at buying used tires I waited to go there instead of getting it from somewhere else because when you like something and want to keep it you have to support it. But the real reason is he didn't want to causing problems is he wanted me to pay full price regardless if it was a good tire or not. He didn't care if I supported the business or not, it's only concern was getting what he wanted for that one tire not knowing who he was dealing with. So I drove over to Big Tymers on Lake and 31st got an almost brand new tire for 45 dollars. Never bite the hand that feeds you young fella. I wish you well but I will payss this on to all my people and make sure you feel impacted for your bs over that one tire. read more

I found this little shop advertising a few years back on the classifieds on Craigslist and I have to be honest, this place is a God send if you need used tires that won't break the bank. I've brought 3 of my cars here, and I'm very happy with the business from the quality of the tires they sell to the price. For example...I drive a 4dr Cavalier and in the past I've gotten tires from Discount Tire as well as NTB for this particular vehicle. They both charged me anywhere between $80-90 for a used tire. And to top it off, they make you wait forever just to put it on (Especially Discount Tire where there's an average 2-3 hour wait time with them). Not at Silva's! Each time I've been there, I'm in-and-out of there in about 20 mins or less. And if that wasn't good enough, for a car my size Silva's charges only $25 and that includes them putting it on for you as well as disposal of the old tire. This place is definitely worth doing business with if you're looking to save a few bucks. read more

This is the shop I meant to go to unfortunately I was so distraught over my two flat tires and I saw fire stone right next song I pull into fire stone. Fire stone I got two new tires for $230. Now I need to use tires so I'm going to Silver it's only $80 out the door tires rotated and aligned I should've gone there to begin with I could've had four tires for $160 and not take it up the butt from fire stone. I went here to replace a tire, as soon as I drove off my car starting making a noise as if something was in my tire. I pulled over to make sure I wasn't on a flat, I wasn't driving on a flat. I drove to work, after I got off work I went back to this tire shop. I explained my car is making a noise and it's coming from the tires. He checked my tires and said my car need to break the tire in. I drove a few days and my car was still making this noise. I took it to another shop and they said I was given a patched up tire and that's where the noise was coming from. I was shown where the patch was at. I took my car back and the gentleman asked me what I wanted him to do. I wanted a good tire put on my car. He put the tire on my car but never apologized for the other worker putting a bad tire on my car. I won't even mention they charged me more than they charged my co- worker. I have a small car and she has a truck. No I will not be returning, poor customer service. read more

Purchased a used tire to use as a spare. They were able to get me right in. Price was very reasonable. They even mounted the spare for me back under the car! I would highly recommend this shop, especially if you're on a tight budget. read more
