All four rims are scratched when the technician use a the metal bar to pry the tires off the black rim. 2. One of the tire was mounted in the wrong direction. 3. Woohoo! As good as it gets! This is a whole new category…read more This is the only way to buy tires. I just had my first but not my last set of tires installed at my shop, on my time. Wow I wonder if I can have auto repairs done this way too. I paid 700.00 dollars for E-load tires on one of my work trucks. They were about 50 bucks less than Sam's Club. They gave me multiple options for different brands and prices, he installed today a Sunday. Instead of wasting time in a waiting room at a shop. I caught up on paperwork. Not to mention the truck wasn't down during normal working hours. It took about an hour and a half. I wouldn't care if it took four hours. I always have plenty to catch up on at the office. I can't believe no-one has thought of this before now. The only difference between there service and a shop is. I had to pre order a couple days before. They use a mobile install trailer. So it's not a semi full of tires. Although I have had to wait for tires from a shop before they don't always have e-load tires in stock. He pulled in to the parking lot of our shop and did all the work in the trailer. He did ask to plug in to one of our outlets but offered to use his generator if there was no power handy. Awesome!!!!

But before a long road trip it needed to be taken care of. I made an appointment and they found two nails, one especially long and nasty. They made a valiant effort to plug, but it didn't take. Price for a new one was as low as anyone, they ordered, it arrived in a couple days and got it installed quickly. (On a Sunday.) After a 1100 mile trip all is fine. Note that Mavis is a "partner" with Amazon. Order a tire from Amazon, ship it directly to them, and they install it for the price stated on Amazon's website.($15.99 for the tire I purchased). Note that this location (and others) were formerly NTB stores (owned by Sears RIP) and were purchased by Mavis. So I would/will return for future service needs.

Not professional, not knowledgable, no accountability…read more I called on Tuesday to see if I can leave my car with them Thursday to get a check engine light resolved and brakes checked. I mentioned it was important I get the car back by Monday morning for work and they said it would be done by Friday. 8am Monday comes around, no phone call last week, the weekend, I call they said they didn't know i needed it Monday morning, they are just starting it. They said no one told them that.. I then have to take off work. I get a phone call at 10:40am about the results, I need a new EVAP canister PURGE per code, which I received too on my device. Then over $900 for only my front brakes. I just say yes at this point because I have work at 5:30am the next morning and need my truck. I got to pickup my truck at 2pm, the guy at the front desk asks me about my display how it's not working. I thought that was odd, I go to my truck and now my radio screen/display will not light up or display. I asked what happened the other guy Mike starts yelling at me when I asked how can I leave it with you guys, you clear codes, and now my display won't work. He did try and do a few things but acted like he didn't know about it, but the other guy did? Very suspicious. Didn't want any ownership, yelled at me for it not being his fault. I now have no AC because I can't access my display on the hottest week of the year so far and they offered no resolution or offered to take it back in to try and fix the issue.. I had work done by them last year when I moved out here, I trusted them. I thought I had a local, reliable mechanic like I did where I'm from, but I see now that they're unfortunately just like all the rest. I'd pay their prices for a good experience and trustworthiness, but that is gone. I would recommend shopping around mechanics so the same experience doesn't happen to you.
