Dr. Silk performed refractive lens exchange on both of my eyes in a single day, freeing me from glasses that I had worn for over 30 years. I couldn't be happier with the results or the experience. Dr. Silk explained the procedure and helped me select the best lenses for my situation. He is a caring clinician who called me both before and after my consultation to see if I had any questions. His staff is warm and efficient and handled billing and appointments without any issues. Highly recommended. read more

I had Refractive Lens Exchange surgery performed by Dr. Silk about two months ago. He suggested and we used the Light Adjustable Lens, and I am 100% happy with the outcome. I am seeing 20/15 in the one eye done. Prior to the surgery, I got 4 opinions from some of the doctors you will find in the area. I felt that Dr. Silk was someone that listened and provided various options, at various cost points. During the surgery and in the post-op care and adjustments I appreciated his "bed side manner", as having a lens removed is a bit nerve wracking. I highly recommend Dr. Silk! read more

I received 20/15 vision now after glasses for 22 years. Life has never been any better now. Customer service is very good and they gave a very careful and thorough explanation for the procedure. I left feeling very satisfied and comfortable. Thanks Doc 100% worth the money and investment read more

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I felt welcomed and well cared for during all my office visits to Silk Vision. Dr. Silk is knowledgeable and asks all the right questions. The staff is very friendly as well. I'd recommend Silk Vision to anyone having problems with their vision. Definite 5 out of 5 stars from me. read more

Had lasik done by dr silk and I am very pleased with my results. It wasn't even 24 hours yet and I was able to see results within half of that time span.I waited long enough to pull the trigger on getting this procedure done and it was well worth my money. Thank you read more

Silk Vision - Laser Eye Surgery/Lasik Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

Had cataracts removed from left eye. Diagnosis and treatment went exactly as Dr. Silk planned with no issues. I went in asking about the more expensive treatment, but after examination, Dr. Silk advised against it due to it being unnecessary. Dr. Silk has an excellent staff who treat you with professionalism and courtesy. I highly recommend Dr. Silk for your vision care. read more

It's been a couple weeks since my ICL surgery with Dr. Silk. I was not a candidate for LASIK, so I opted for ICL and have been extremely pleased with the results. For the first time in 30 years, I can actually see in the middle of the night without fumbling for my glasses. Dr. Silk's expertise and professionalism made the entire process seamless. I only wish I had pursued this procedure sooner. It has truly been a worthwhile investment. read more

The office experience is very nice! I've been going there for a year now, and the care quality is excellent. Dr. Silk is a excellent doctor.

Dr. Silk and his team reached out to me to clear up a miscommunication. I cannot say many will go out of there way to do this. My over all experience was good. The eye plugs he put in my eyes were done within seconds and I didn't feel a thing. I wish I could say that they have helped my dry eyes but have not noticed much of a difference and it's been about 3 weeks. Maybe it's still too early to tell. read more

A WHOLE NEW WORLD... Dr Silk and team were amazing. I love that everything was done with them. And they were exceptionally priced! Several other places I consulted with had me running around between them and my eye doctor (not ideal) and priced extremely high for the same outcome and care. Their technology is state of art and what's even cooler, they use cold laser for better recovery. Most places I consulted with did not have this technology (nor explained that their was a difference). If you aren't sure about where to go, at least come here and see what they have to offer. I've been in glasses and contacts for 30 years. Having LASIK has been one of the best decisions I could have made and Dr Silk and his team just put the icing on that cake for me! I wish I had known about Dr silk years ago. So even if your eye doctor recommends someone, go out and do your own research. I sure am glad I did!!! What's even extra special is that Dr Silk works with a charity and takes part of your proceeds and donates to it. That's AMAZING! read more

Pros: N/A Cons: I scheduled a free consultation for vision surgery. Upon arrival, I was told that the diagnostic exam would be charged to my insurance by two staff members. I cancelled the consultation because this was a warning sign that this medical practice might charge insurance companies unnecessarily. Within ten minutes of me walking out, I received a call from the staff saying the doctor would still like to see me even if I refuse to pay a consultation fee. A doctor called me later that evening to apologize for the confusion on the consultation fee. I asked twice about the price of the procedure and received two different prices; about $1000 difference. I should have stayed home instead of travel to this practice during a winter storm. read more

Dr. Rajjoub and the Staff at Silk Vision are incredible. I came here for a consultation about my droopy eye lid and immediately Dr. Rajjoub knew where and how to move forward with my condition called ptosis. Scheduled an office procedure and it went seamlessly. Dr. Rajjoub and her assistant tech Laraib did a great job I was in and out within one hour. There was a lot of attention to detail and even with my scar now Dr. Rajjoub isn't turning me away now that the procedure is done and my skin is recovered she is taking the extra step to make sure there is minimum scarring. Will recommend this spot to all friends interested in lasik or need a consultation for their eyes. Her assistant tech Laraib walked me through everything and made sure to have all my questions and concerns addressed. Really appreciate her patience and kindness, especially how knowledgeable she is! read more

Dr Silk is an excellent surgeon. I had my cataracts removed. My sight now is fabulous. No glasses for distance. His staff is overwhelmingly helpful and caring. I couldn't be happier! read more

I am BEYOND THANKFUL to Dr. Silk!!! LASIK has changed my life! I've been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old. Contacts since I was 13. Now in my mid-40s my eyes just decided they were done with contacts. I hate glasses.... so I decided maybe Lasik is the way to go. My eye doctor recommended Dr. Silk and I was not at all disappointed. I initially went in for dry eye - preventing me from wearing contacts so he helped me with that. But then I asked about Lasik - he did not try to up-sell me on that as others have stated. I actually brought it up first. Within a week I had the appointment and haven't regreted it for one second! Best decision of my life! My only regret is waiting this long! read more

Dr. Lamise Rajjoud is one of the top eye and facial surgeons in the country!! She is brilliant!! Also, she is kind and professional to all of her patients! I would give her 10 stars if I could!!! Silk Vision - Laser Eye Surgery/Lasik Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

Very professional and knowledgeable group. You can tell they care. The Occuplastics services are also very cool. Love that they tie in so many services that are related to your eyes and the areas around the eyes. Dr. Silk helped me understand so much about LASIK. The machines, the age of them, the operating centers, the technology used, the skill and experience of the Doctors, etc. I had no idea that all those $299 per eye ads i hear are mostly just bait and hooks. The vast majority of Lasik never qualify for such offers. If you read the fine print or go to a meeting at one of these "low cost LASIK" providers you will see just what I mean. When it comes to my eyes, i wanted the best...and that is why I chose Silk Vision. read more

As others have noted, Dr. Silk is more interested in exploiting patients for maximum money than in caring for people or doing right by them or treating you decently. He tried to upsell me on LASIK, even though I told him and his staff, very clearly, that I did not want this procedure. And then the bill which I received was incorrect (you can guess in whose favor). If you want a general eye exam, do not be lured by the fact that Dr. Silk is an MD. If he doesn't see you as a big source of business, then he treats you quickly. I had two questions for him, but he was impatient and his answers were curt. read more

I had a wonderful experience today. I came to the office for a glaucoma consultation. I had my eyes checked by an optometrist and recommended surgery. The procedure is scheduled 8/4. While waiting for the surgery, I consulted with my girlfriend's husband who is an Opthalmologist. He did not recommend surgery and advise to seek for a second opinion where I found Dr. Silk via Yelps. After the exam by Dr Silk, he too did not recommend surgery. Dr. Silk is truly what being written. He is friendly. The exam was throughout and he answered to all my questions. He recommended other surgery without pressuring me. He is very professional and the staffs are friendly, helpful and especially very polite via phone and in person. I highly recommend Dr. Silk and thinking of getting my surgery done soon. Thank you Dr. Silk!!! Cheers read more

Our eyes are too important to trust to anyone and it took me a long time exploring all my options before I decided to put my trust in Dr. Silk for cataract removal from my right eye and then immediately returned for cataract removal from the left eye. I can confirm that "perfectionist" describes Dr. Silk perfectly. You get Dr, Silk as well as a great team that includes the Inova Surgical Center all contained within the same location. Dr.Silk is very nice and explained clearly how the lasik procedure would be done & I was so excited to see again! When it became apparent I wasn't a good candidate he was honest & expressed he wouldn't want to risk my health, it was a bitter truth delivered by a honest man. Although I cannot be a client of Dr.Silk, the reason behind this fact only makes me trust him more. I will refer family, friends read more

A dream come true. Dr. Rajjoub recently completed Ptosis surgery on my left eye. I was so nervous, but she has a warm reassuring personality. As soon as I met her, I knew she was the one!. I'm happy that I got the surgery done and I'm grateful that I found Dr. Rajjoub. I definitely notice the difference in my eyes. No more small eye/big eye. The wonderful thing is that no one else can tell. A true artist and a professional. I highly recommend. read more

Dr. Silk is an outstanding doctor. He is very professional and caring. His office is spotless and he uses the latest technologies for record keeping and scheduling. He is also very flexible and I have never had any issues getting an appointment immediately and the wait is rarely more than about 5 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Silk for your eyesore needs. read more

I was one of Dr. Silk's first patients. I have always found him to be an excellent eye Dr. I was very disappointed, however, to find out that he will no longer be doing eye exams. read more

This is a review update. Upon seeing my other review, Dr. Silk made an effort to reach out to me to explain what happened or that he felt there may have been a misunderstanding. In fairness I feel I should disclose that and mention it seems like he is helpfully sensitive to patients' sentiments and feelings. The fact that he called me, emailed me and also left a message on yelp shows he tried to make things "right" and for that I felt I should update and disclose his courtesy/sensitivity to unhappy (or misunderstood) patients. Thanks Dr. Silk for reaching out. read more

Dr. Silk seems like a very intelligent doctor, however, if you're not interested in surgery, he's not interested in helping you. I was grateful that I found an ophthalmologist who could get me in on such short notice (same day) but it ended up being a waste of money. My problem is still unaddressed and before I could even ask for a recommendation he (literally) had already left the room and was helping his next patient, but no worries, he was sure to leave me a brochure on surgery before he left the room. Don't recommend unless you're 100% ready for surgery and a good surgery candidate read more

Dr. Rajoub dealt with my eye problem quickly and efficiently.

I recently had LASIK surgery with Dr. Silk as my surgeon. I can't recommend him enough! I had lots of questions (after all, you only get two eyeballs and they don't grow back) but he answered them all. Both his pre-surgical and after-care are very meticulous and professional. Two other LASIK centers had evaluated me for surgery (one for, one against) when I came to Dr. Silk. It was his thoroughness and insistence on details that led me to trust my eyes and vision to him, and I couldn't be happier. read more

When I made the decision to get LASIK, I began by reading reviews for local doctors. The number of 5 star reviews for Dr Silk, and the fact that his office was able to schedule me for a visit immediately, brought me in. From the beginning, Dr Silk was extremely meticulous about explaining the details of the procedure, and the benefits and risks. His pricing was very clear (no hidden fees or office visit copays) and better than other eye centers in the area. I'd highly recommend Dr Silk. He's very professional, has a great staff, and puts a high priority on patient care and comfort. read more

I approached Dr. Silk's organization with trepidation. Solutions and challenges were carefully presented and the results of my lens replacement were as described: almost perfect, with minor limitations. Surgery was painless. My experience with he and his staff exceeded expectations and he will be highly recommended to my special friends and family who want an improved quality of life. read more

Dr. Rajjoub and the Staff at Silk Vision is the best. She is the only Ophthalmologist I found who finally figured out what was wrong with me. Dr. Rajjoub makes you feel at ease and takes the time to explain what she did and what I need to do. I've seen her twice and have never felt hurried. Wonderful experience. If your looking for an Outstanding Ophthalmologist, look no further, she's the best. To top it off, today she said if I ever have any questions, to call, she is always available. The staff at Silk Vision is fantastic as well. I have been to the Manassas and Annandale offices. And for the record, I have seen some doctors (Orthopedic) recently that make you feel like a "Paycheck" and not a "Patient". That's the furthest thing you'll feel here. WONFERFUL... read more

I had cataract surgery by Dr. Wesam Silk at the Prince William Hospital in Manassas, VA, after a consult/exam at the Annandale, VA office. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr Silk is a gem. I went to 3 different ophthalmologist in the area before finding Dr. Silk- he was by far and away the best. He spent so much time with me explaining the cataract procedure and what post op would be like. During the procedure, he was always asking "How are you doing?" constantly reassuring me that everything was going well. The follow-up office visits were excellent as well. Great office staff and Dr. Silk was always on time. I come from a family of physcians so have been spoiled by special attention - I got it here and more. Even a thank you note from Dr. Silk and his staff. I wish I could use him as my internist he is that good. Thank you Dr. Silk and staff. read more

This is the first time i have ever written a review online for any place but i have never left a doctor's office so upset i just had to share. I have been suffering from a watery, swollen eye for months and have been to numerous doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I chose this office based on reviews but I regret ever going there. I don't have insurance and made sure they Knew that when I booked an appointment. The receptionist on the phone quoted me between $90-$115 for my visit. When I got there, Dr Silk examined my eye and told me I had a blocked tear duct. He asked if he could try draining fluid through it to see if any would go through, I said yes. He then got a syringe and used a blunt needle to poke my tear duct. It HURT. He said he couldn't see it properly so he tried again, first with brighter lights, then ocular goggles, then a magnifying machine at multiple settings. By the end of it I was shaking and in tears and asked him to stop. He never even made it into the tear duct but stopped anyways and told me he would refer me to another doctor because he said his facility didn't have the equipment to finish the job. Mind you this is an EYE SURGICAL CENTER and all I needed was to unclog a tear duct. He then told me to wait outside and left the room. When I checked out, I was told my bill was $245 for "having a procedure done". What procedure??? He couldn't even get in my eye, sent me to someone else and charged me MORE THAN TWICE what was quoted on the phone. I told the receptionist I was told it wouldn't be more than $115, and she said she could drop it down to $210. Still almost twice what I was initially told!! Not once did the doctor or anyone tell me it would cost more to repeatedly poke my eye, which isn't even a real procedure. He didn't fix anything with my eye, instead told me to see someone else. The receptionist apologized but I still had to pay for this "procedure". I've seen multiple eye doctors and this is by far the worst visit I have ever had. The didn't even give me notes to give to the doctors they referred me to, instead I was told by doctor silk to just make an appointment and let the other doctors figure out what to do. I asked the receptionist for doctors notes and she was able to provide them to me. I'm very upset, I wish I would have been given more information on his findings and didn't have to leave in tears, out $210 and an eye that felt worse than when I had gotten there. I will NEVER RETURN. read more

My mother was having trouble seeing. I researched and found Dr. Silk. Let me say this, my mother...NOT a fan of doctors. But we found Dr. Silk caring, kind, & compassionate. My mother is not a native English speaker, but Dr. Silk explained everything carefully enough so that she understood and was comfortable and at ease. She even trusted him enough to undergo two cataract surgeries under his sure hands. She underwent both surgeries with the least amount of nervousness and was completely fearless for the second one! I felt he made my mother's case (which was quite severe) a priority and his treatment of her was exceptional. I highly recommend his services. read more

In short, Dr. Silk gave me back my life by restoring my vision. I had cataracts that were so bad that I had given up driving, quit a job that required excellent eyesight, and become a hermit. After the first surgery, I was elated and could hardly wait for the second eye to be operated on. Dr. Silk's chosen hospital also could not have been nicer. The staff was delightful and each of the people who attended me sent a thank you note following both surgeries. Dr. Silk's staff is helpful and polite, and his office is conveniently located. He is such a good doctor that I didn't even care that he didn't accept my insurance; I gladly paid out of pocket for his help. He is very professional and business-like, which I like very much in a doctor. I am grateful to Dr. Silk and I can't thank him enough for the gift of good eyesight. read more

Dr Silk is amazing. He was very thorough about explaining and testing everything for my upcoming Lasik. They even had time to work in my mom which was with me for her regular eye exam.
