The Pad Thai noodle dish with choice of meat, is my go to at Silk Road. The fried spring rolls with the peanut sauce - all so good!

If you love Thai food like I do, this is the place to go. The menu is pretty full, but a couple of dishes stand out. One of them is the green curry. I like to get mine with pork, but you can pick your protein. Plenty of veggies are in there and the curry is out of this world. I always get my Thai pretty mild but I can still savor all the spices in this dish. The Pad Thai is delicious, too. You've also got to try their soup and the Vietnamese, Chinese and Laotian aspects of the menu. The ambiance is pretty casual, but cozy. The servers are quick and friendly! read more

Straightforward Asian food with Thia, Chinese, Lao and other regional dishes. Kind of an Asian diner located in the middle of a small strip mall. Lots of options on the menu designed like a diner menu too. I don't know if that was on purpose but it had a nostalgic vibe. Our son and his family who live nearby said they eat here frequently so we decided to join them for lunch. Everything was pretty good although we thought we had to wait a bit longer than average. Some of the dished were a bit minimal but still tasty. For example they served Pad Thai without any nuts on it, I'd never seen that on a dish tht typically has chopped peanuts on top or stirred in. Still everything we had was good and there was almost no leftovers at the end of the meal, alwyas a good sign. I don't consider this a date night or fancy place to take vendors, cleints or out of towners to impress. But a place to take family and friends or for take-out on a Thursday night. Good food, plainly presented and a typical, clean and a little too warm dining room. Still worth adding to your rotation if you live nearby. read more

Very happy with our take out meals from Silk Road. We had Chicken Pad Thai medium and Chicken Pad Kee Mao mild. Both were what we expected spice level and portions were on the large side. The Pad Kee Mao was full of crisp veggies. I felt that they were a little on the greasy side but still incredible. My husband is very sensitive to fish and he felt both dishes had a fishy aftertaste. I didn't agree so I guess that is still to be determined! Overall I was very impressed with the spice level and quality of the dishes. read more

Tried this looking for a solid Thai joint in the area. Food was really good! I had the Pad Kee Mao, my wife had Green Curry with tofu and the kids ate chicken lo mein. Everything was solid... maybe the best Thai we've had in the area so far. We easily thought the green curry was the best we've had since moving here. The only complaint was my wife would preferred to have the tofu in her curry be cooked a bit in some fashion. This tofu was literally cut off the block and dropped in the curry. A small critique as the dish itself was very nice. The boys low mein was pretty run of the mill in a good way. Solid dish. Worth a try for sure! read more

Just ate here and the food was quite good however the wine was bad... it was obvious air had affected the wine in the plastic bottle from 2010!!! The waitress would not take it back and charged me for it. She also tried to get me to drink it mid meal and was defiant that it was just bought two weeks ago. This is about the only place I go to for Thai food in Northwest Arkansas. It seems to be the most authentic, and consistently prepared. If I talk my sweetie into going with me, we get a noodle dish, a curry dish, and something to munch on ahead of time. And they have beer. I'm a fan, fo sure! read more

Silk Road is a middle of the road Thai restaurant. Not the best I've been to and far from the worst. They have a very extensive menu to choose from which is nice if you like variety. The decor is nothing fancy and the service is good enough. They usually run with two waitstaff so the service does suffer a little when they are busy. It's certainly not a destination Thai restaurant but if you're in Springdale and have a craving for Thai this place will do just fine in meeting it. read more

This place is worth a try. So it's advertised as Thai the owners are Laos with is very similar so I tried 3 different things to see what they made best. First Pad Thai which was excellent probably the best around NW Arkansas. Secondly I ordered the Larb which traditionally is a Laos dish and it was decent but I expected a little better considering they are Laos. And thirdly the Pho because well whos doesnt when it's on the menu... it was good but I have too say the Vietnamese just seem to always have the secret to making it better. But the portion size is better than most even the half size bowl was filling. So overall it's good and would like to try some other dishes they have there. But nothing is bad. read more

If this is the best Thai food in Northwest Arkansas... People of Thailand, there is a great opportunity to open a restaurant and make a fortune in Arkansas. I love love love me some Thai food. This however was not as tasty as what I expected. I had Pad Kee Mao, which was fast and a large portion, but the taste was far from my expectations. I generally like spicy Thai food, so I ordered "Thai Hot" - which hit the mark, but was a different kind of Thai spice than I have had in the past. The dish was spiced with Jalapeño peppers to make it spicy. I think this changed the flavor and ultimately was a bad choice from the cook/chef. If you are looking for great Thai food, I would pass this one by and keep on looking. read more

I thought it was great! Ordered Pad Thai Combo (beef shrimp and i think chicken). Great flavor. Chose Medium heat with choices of none, low, medium, high and Thai hot. Added siracha to it so it wasn't very hot. Also had egg drop soup which was good and egg rolls. Service was fast and friendly. Good portion size on Pad Thai. read more

When walking in, we were to sit anywhere (only two sets of customers in the place) We sat down and immediately they took our drink order. They never mentioned that you had to use your phone for the menu access, we read the very small sticker on the table and figured that on our own. My husband was having trouble reading his phone so he flag down our waitress and told her he needed a menu to which she told him to use his phone. He replied it was too hard to see and she did the hand motion showing how to enlarge the screen. He told her no and she finally just got him a menu. We finally ordered Spring Rolls as an appetizer. I ordered Duck Pad Thai and my husband ordered a bowl of Glass Noodle soup with duck. We received the spring rolls within 10 minutes. It took another 20-30 minutes for my Pad Thai. After I received my Pad Thai, we waited another 15 mins and then tracked down a waitress and asked if the forgot about my husband's soup. She said no it should be right out and immediatley went and got it. Except when she was taking our order or delivery food, the waitress never came to our table unless we flagged he down. We go out and eat a lot.The food was about average, not real good, not real bad. In my opinion a place that has poor service needs to have amazing food. 8/4/18 Wow! Was completely blown away! I had the chicken pad Thai, so much food at such a good price. And the chicken was plump and juicy and the flavor in the pad Thai was just delicious. If you like Asian food, pad Thai in general, you've got to try this place. read more

The food was decent with large portions. Not anything over the top. The service was not the best. A lady (not out waiter) brought out our appetizer but did not bring any plates for us to eat the app on. Our food was brought out at different times, the first and the last coming out about 15-20 minutes apart. And our actual waiter hardly waited on us. She checked on us about five minutes into the meal and that was about it. She ended up leaving (I guess she was done for the day) about 10 minutes before we finished paying. Came here for lunch on a Monday, needing a quick stop in between errands. We were greeted immediately at the door, with very prompt & friendly service. Our waitress was very ncie and cheery. Fresh spring rolls, wrapped in rice paper were pretty good. Chicken satay was just ok. The peanut sauce it was served with was more like actual peanut butter that peanut sauces I've had in the past. Red chicken curry was watery and bland. Everything was steamed and thrown together, rather than cooked in the curry, allowing the ingredients to cozy up to one another. I'm pretty sure the veggies were frozen, not fresh. I know coconut milk is used in curries like this, but I could have sworn I tasted butter in there too. Enough with the butter, Arkansas. They did have all the accoutrements (Sriracha, hoisin, etc) that you could use to doctor your dish, which is good because the dish needed serious help. If you've ever been to either coast and had good Thai food (I've never been to Thailand, but they say the Thai food there is pretty good too), you'll be disappointed in this place. There are SO many Thai places in NWA, I'm bound to find a good one eventually...right? read more

Service was terrible, sweet tea was sugar water, I ordered the peanut chicken and it was not edible. spent over 90 minutes here for lunch!!!! a female co-worker got her food 20 minutes after we got ours!?!?!?. Service is never good. They act like they are doing you a favor to bring your food. Iced tea is stale. They give you a hard time if you pay with credit card - they want you to pay cash. They never refilled our drinks. Brought the food out in stages. First person was half done before last person even got food. Had to ask for to go boxes. read more
