Well, my review has changed. I decided to revisit Thai Delight, and now I highly recommend this restaurant. This time I had their Pad Thai. It was excellent! I have been to a bunch of Thai restaurants in NWA and had their Pad Thai .... this one is the best I have had. Perfect sweetness. Perfect noodles. Perfect spicy-ness. My buddies had pineapple fried rice and they scarfed it down and enjoyed it. Next time, I am going to get something a bit different. Stretch my tastebuds a bit. The atmosphere is nothing to look at. Fairly plain. A few things on the walls. But, when the food is good, who cares?! The service is just a sweet lady and her mom. Both attended to us, and were very enjoyable. They made sure to make note that Thai Delight is the only true Thai in NWA. I have no way to judge that since I have never been to Thailand, but I'll take their word for it. lol The reason for the 4-stars is because I have one complaint and two recommendations for Thai Delight --- Complaint: I paid almost $50 for three of us to eat for lunch. That seems a bit steep. The food was great and the portions are generous, and the service was enjoyable, but (man!!) those prices are high. --- Recommendation #1: you have to pay for drinks (bottled!), even for water. I would have appreciated free water. --- Recommendation #2: many people came in and wanted a quick lunch meal. Thai Delight very clearly advertises that they don't do quick meals. I think they should. Made a a quick fried rice that is premade and ready to serve for those who want a 15-20min lunch stop. Thai delight would make more money if they did this, and can still service those of us who don't mind the wait. Thai Delight, a very nice, mom and daughter operation in a small old house converted to a restaurant. Limited seating, maybe 6 tables. The parking lot is cramped, not much bigger than the inside of the restaurant. The daughter is the frontwoman for the operation. She is very proud of her and her mother's cooking, and she should be. It is good, fresh and well prepared. From the time you sit down, until you leave, you are going to hear that their food is the best Thai food outside of Bangkok. And according to her, every other Thai restaurant in NW Arkansas or Oklahoma is subpar, not authentic; the others don't know how to cook. Kept reminding me that they do not use green peppers or onion. An experience I wasn't prepared for, an owner gushing with in-your-face exuberance. She will wear you down, my brain hurt when I left. Hell, I don't know if it was authentic or not. I haven't been to Thailand. Don't really care. It makes no difference. It boils down to, did I like the food or not. Our meals started with the Thai eggrolls. These were freshly made, delivered to the table hot. Delicious. I especially like the dipping sauce. Not too sweet and a little heat. My meal was the Thai Garden Delight Chicken. Very fresh vegetables, seasoned to a perfect medium heat. My wife had the Pineapple Fried Rice. A large fresh tasting plate of food. She enjoyed it. Bottom line, the food and the dining experience didn't win me over. I have another Thai place in NW Arkansas that I like better. read more

Run to this restaurant!!! It is that amazing!!! Randomly saw a patron post a TikTok about this Springdale gem and had to make my way over there from Bella Vista. And it was worth it!!! I ordered the pad Thai with extra tofu and vegetarian egg rolls for pick up. I wish I would've dined in after meeting the owner and her beautiful mother! This duo delivers the goods! Mama is in the kitchen cooking up beautiful authentic Thai meals with the finest ingredients. Only the best goes into these dishes. There's no treacly sweet, artificial ingredients used here. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was decently busy. There is a parking lot attached and enough to accommodate 10+ cars. Ambiance was OK. The place looks old, but I don't mind as long as the food is good. We ordered egg rolls, Tom yum soup with chicken, Yellow curry with chicken, and #7 (flat noodles with chicken). The food was OK, but not up to the expectations. Serving staff (mother-daughter duo) are friendly but they overstate their Thai nativity and their food taste. They constantly repeated that their food is best in NWA and other places are shitty. This made us excited but the food was decent at the best. Egg rolls were oily and nothing special. Tom yum soup was OK but watered down and too sour. Yellow curry was the best and needed some salt. Chicken in #7 noodles was cold and they gave us bland noodles when we asked for their highest spice. We sent it back, and the spice was adjusted but noodles were burnt. It had burnt taste and we couldn't eat it. We didn't say anything because they were over excited about their food. I paid $75 (including $10 tip) for this meal. Overall, I had better Thai food in NWA and this place was nothing special. I would recommend staff not to overstate things. read more
