I went to trusty Yelp to get some quotes for the job, and Trieu was the only one who responded quickly and decisively with an actual number. Everyone else wanted a "consultation" or tried sending me to their website to fill out forms and schedule this and that. No time for that! Trieu actually showed up earlier than committed and changed out the valve efficiently and effectively. Here is the best part: I originally thought my main shutoff valve was malfunctioning too, so I had included that in the original quote request. When Trieu arrived, he actually tested the shutoff valve, demonstrated to me that it was working perfectly fine, and convinced me that it wasn't worth replacing. He took it right off the quote! What a refreshing, honest approach to business. I honestly cannot remember the last time a vendor "downsold" me on a job instead of trying to upscale me. They used a high pressure system and a sophisticated camera so we could see how backed up our drains were. They also installed a very strong sump pump to drain away the water table under our home which has been a problem since we bought our home. They did this all in a day and were so pleasant and worked really hard especially under the house in our crawl space. They expertly crafted the custom air handler unit and installed all new ducting. They left the working areas cleaner than when they started. Eugene was keenly aware of cities' code complexities, and proactively addressed any potential issues to avoid inspection failures. The city inspection passed without issues. After completing the installation and testing, Eugene walked me through their work, explained how the new HVAC functions, setup and customization options, including the required maintenance and things to watch out for when transitioning between heating and cooling seasons. Shoutout to Russel for his responsiveness to my questions, thorough explanations and quick adjustments with quotes and scheduling as we worked to finalize the project.
