I had an extremely negative experience with this agent at an open house for 174 S Windsor Ave,…read moreBrightwaters, NY 11718. When I asked two very standard questions -- 'How old is the roof?' and 'Was there ever any work done to resolve the water issue in the basement?' -- instead of answering, the agent became condescending and said to me: 'You are too cheap. You tried to buy this property for too cheap, but got rejected so now you are here to take apart the house. I have dealt with people like you before. If not in person, then on paper.' For context, this property was originally listed at $1.4M and had dropped multiple times -- to $1.1M, then $899K, then $849K, and finally $799K. I submitted an offer of $750K, which is only 6% below asking and, importantly, represents a price per-square-feet higher than what other comparable homes in the area are selling for. Rather than treat this as a reasonable negotiation, the agent mocked the offer and dismissed me. During the open house itself, the agent escalated further by demanding that we leave the open house immediately, and as I was walking out, he slammed the door behind me. This behavior was insulting, hostile, and unprofessional. An agent's role is to represent the seller while treating prospective buyers with basic respect. Real estate agents are expected to negotiate offers respectfully, regardless of whether they or their client find the offer acceptable. Instead, this agent drove away a serious buyer with rudeness and personal attacks, ultimately working against the seller's best interest. This agent treated us like trash and acted as if our $750K had no value. If you value professionalism, transparency, and respect, I would strongly advise avoiding this agent.

My…read moreapplication was approved after much effort because how unresponsive she is and we were able to get a date together for the lease signing with the landlord after the month starting even though i mentioned i needed to leave my current apartment prior to april 1st. I attempted to ask for the potential lease virtually to read through prior to the meeting, I was sent a document any unprofessional could have written up with hand written portions and even the incorrect state denoted with plenty of missing information. I followed up asking for typical paperwork renters need to see like home historials of any hazardous materials or infestations in the house to be informed. Lisa considered this to be a red flag and said in her 15 years of being a real estate agent she has never dealt with someone so intense as to ask for these things.. like i mentioned i asked for nothing out of the blue.. bed bug historial, lead based paint historial, mold, and warranty of habituality concerns etc. things to protect me as a renter prior to entering a property to know i am fully disclosed of any potential issues the house could have had in the past. On the day before the signing, after ignoring many of my follow ups to ensure we were good to go , she said after speaking to the landlord they were concerned about my "question asking". When i called her to ask why this happened and to let her know how much i was depending on this again I was told she knows more then me and that what i asked for was nothing shes ever heard of before.. not only should crown homes consider dropping this agent to uphold their reputation, if they do decide to keep her, please consider updating her on the real estate world . 15 years of experience means nothing if you have not continued your education in todays customer market. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

BUYER BEWARE! This…read moreproperty may look beautiful and seem too good to be true, because it is! I purchased all cash in October 2021 and have been having non-stop issues with the board ever since. This review is being posted in December of 2022, so come next election things could change. However, the current board is made up of two residents who have been running the property for about 6 years now in addition to two new people. The "senior" board members are using their positions to forward their own interests and do not care about the other shareholders. They bully and intimidate anyone who goes against their "status quo". I have been slandered to the community and ostracized for speaking out against the bad mortgage they just took out. I have also been cursed out more than once by a board member who repeatedly breaks the house rules as they feel they are above them. The board will actually go so far as to pass new rules without any input from shareholders when they see something they do not like. For example, the current president has an issue with retractable dog leashes, so he banned them. This place is in debt and the board has no plans to raise revenue or make any improvements that will raise this property value. The board have also been caught lying to shareholders. For example, the president told everyone in an open shareholder meeting on 9/13/1022 that the Town of Babylon denied our request for a private dog park. According to the town no plans were ever submitted, but if they were it would have been approved as other communities have done the same in Babylon township. I have this in writing. Save yourself the headache!
