I didn't want to have to stop at two places, smog and then go to the DMV with my kids in this summer heat. So I decided to take the little drive from Cadence with my kiddos. I drove up in the carline, third in line. I even saw two cars behind me leave while I was waiting in line. It only took about 10 mins when I was upfront! This lady working the equipment was quick! Smog checked, renewal registration paid, and done! Kids still hanging in the car! All in less than 10 mins! The pricing is affordable for these kind of services. Peyton always provides top-notch customer service as he is friendly, attentive, and thoughtful in ensuring my repair needs are properly taken care of. On my latest visit, when I went to renew my registration and attain a smog check, I saddeningly witnessed one of the employees, Gina, get harassed by a contemptuous customer. The woman, a Karen, was upset about her vehicle's diagnosis and stated inflammatory comments in that she scrutinized some of the Hispanic employees for English being their second language. These remarks were highly unnecessary, given it did not pertain to the underlying issue of her vehicle needing some work. Anyhow, Gina handled the situation with incredible professionalism and composure. She stayed calm, respectful, and empathetic, however, the Karen was insulted by her rapport and silenced her. Nevertheless, Gina respected her boundaries and focused on doing her job, which frankly highlighted a lot about her character. Beyond Gina's professionalism and exemplary customer service, she is exceedingly experienced and knowledgeable. She has worked on my vehicle multiple times and always leaves me feeling confident that everything was correctly done. Finding an autoshop with both effective technical skill and such a high level of customer care is thinly dispersed, although, this shop never leaves me disheartened. Paradise Aviation is comprised of seven hangars, which are all privately owned properties, although…read moreCaesars/Harrahs has a different address (5240 Haven Street) and Hangar 6 is accessed on the other side of Haven Street, past the former Apartment building, the one that is boarded up, turn right, off of Reno Avenue, with a guarded gate. The Haven Street sign faces the other way, for some odd reason. People often turn around, because they are lost. GPS or Google Maps is wrong. Everyone does not see the large sign that states this is "not a through street". The cabs and limos are lost as well as the people on foot who are expecting to see the airport. Technically Paradise Aviation is a part of the airport. But it's off of Tropicana and Paradise, that is the correct entry point. The property is kitty corner from JANET, or E,G & G, or Aecom. The other nearby businesses are Jetsuite (aka. Net Jets, Sundance Helicopter Tours, Sands Aviation. This is in the direction of Haven Street sign. MDL Group is the property manager for the property. The landscaping is weekly. The pest service for the exterior is on a schedule too. The garbage service is twice a week, and the recycle pickup service is also twice a week. Johnson Controls is often here, doing maintenance on their equipment. The Airport Control Center works closely with the hangars as the doors have alarms provided by Johnson Controls. The main gate is closed after hours. There are mailboxes here, commercial grade. Sometimes, the USPS relief mailman doesn't know where to go. Many of the delivery services are familiar with each hangar, but sometimes the address isn't complete, doesn't have the suite number or the hangar number. Sometimes, the mail or deliveries are made by mistake. Every once in a while we will see little critters like, cute little brown bunnies and road runners. We used to see chipmunks, many years ago. Lots of birds are always around. Sometimes, homeless people will also end up here. If we call Airport Division Metro, it's a quick visit and the issue is handled.
