Daniel answered my call. He was patient kind and very helpful, easily accommodating my adjustments for our apartment. He kept the cost down to the package price allowing some small customization. The delivery team took great care and were patient and understanding, when there was a small delay to get into the apartment. They set up the apartment beautifully. And Daniel made the whole process painless and easy for me. Without a doubt I highly recommend Scherr furniture and their team.

Our son moved from Gaithersburg to Rockville. I knew two people who made the same move and…read morerecommended this company. They had an extensive online form for what you need to have moved. I filled out the form and got a call back from the company. We discussed the time it might take to pack, unload and put things back together. I was asked if certain things needed to be done(clothing packed, anything particularly valuable or delicate) and if I needed packing materials. I was told the cost of various materials and boxes for packing and given an estimate of the time it would take. The movers showed up on time and were very careful to put down runners in the apartment. They packed and moved everything quickly and carefully. I met them at the new apartment where they again put down runners to protect the carpets. Everything was unpacked and put together again if needed-sofa, bed, a desk center. It took about 30 minutes less than was estimated -and I was charged accordingly. They were careful with everything- and nothing was broken - I think the sofa was put together better than originally! This move had to be done in a short time frame- the new apartment came up quickly and my son did not want to lose it and the company and employees were able to make it happen. I highly recommend this company!

After a bit of an effort as the property manager of a property in DC, I was contacted by our…read moreaccount manager Mike Cappe who to my surprise came to my property to meet me and to address the concerns I had. Mike went WAY above and beyond customer service when I told him that the previous manager had left no key to the roof top stairwell door that would allow access to the elevator machine room. Although I do not make a habit of accessing this room, I nonetheless had no management box key that allowed entry to the roof overall and when Mike heard this he went up to retrieve the rooftop door key from the Advanced Elevator lockbox went to the local hardware store and made me copies. Not only with this amazing level of customer service, he connected in a way that gives me total confidence that he is partnered with me to maintain the building elevator and provides a bridge between our regular service technician and the corporate office. If the strength of a company is as we all believe the strength of their field staff, than Advanced Elevator is a silver bullet company. Cannot say enough good about Mike and because of him I look forward to working with Advanced Elevator. Strongly recommend.

I contacted him because the power…read morerecliner on my sofa had completely stopped working, and I was expecting that I would need to schedule an in-home repair which is why I initially contacted him. Instead, because he would not be in my area any time soon, David took the time to look carefully at the pictures and videos I sent him and walked me through troubleshooting the problem by text. He clearly knows power furniture inside and out. Rather than immediately assuming that I needed a new motor or an expensive repair, he helped me trace the wiring and systematically eliminate possible causes. He eventually noticed that a damaged wire connected to one of the LED light strips could be shorting out the entire system. He had me disconnect that part of the system, and sure enough--the recliner started working again! What impressed me most was that David could easily have just scheduled a service call and charged me to come out. Instead, he spent a considerable amount of time helping me diagnose and fix the problem remotely, without charging me anything. That kind of honesty, patience, knowledge, and customer service is hard to find. If I ever have another furniture repair that I can't handle myself, David at Dr. Furniture will absolutely be the first person I call. Highly recommended! May God bless you David:)

I submitted a request through his website to help unload my U-Haul, and he responded within a few hours with a clear overview of his team's availability for my preferred date (I gave 12 days' notice) and a very reasonable quote. His communication was consistent, and he provided a confirmation email and phone call the day before the job. On moving day, his team arrived on time and quickly assessed the route to my third-floor apartment, which involved a narrow and winding staircase. Alexander gave me a heads-up that my couch and large chest might not fit, but he and Saul immediately began delegating and managed to find several creative solutions. They worked skillfully and fast, and made sure I was comfortable with them taking apart and reassembling my bed frame, couch, and the metal railing on the staircase. Everything made it upstairs! I underestimated how much I would be bringing in my original quote and the job took an hour longer than we had expected, but they are earnest, patient, and diligent professionals who handled everything efficiently and with care.
