Legacy hires knowledgeable staff to assist renters in finding exactly what we need. I explained what I wanted and what hasn't worked for me at other places and was told, "I understand and I think we have just the one for you and it's available right now." I've been living here for half a year now and have been very happy with my choice. They processed the paperwork and had me moved in within a week, and this was the week after Christmas! The staff is stellar, extremely friendly, and consummate professionals, both in the office and in maintenance. Plus, the rents are very well priced compared to other Spokane Valley units. Clean and well-maintained grounds add to the comfort. The gym is over twice the size of most I've seen with plenty of equipment and overlooks a comfortably furnished bbq area and large swimming pool. Various grocery stores, shops, Home Depot, restaurants, banks, Urgent care and fast food fare are a two-minute walk away. (Did I mention how awesome the staff is?) There is NO a/c in the bedrooms. There hasn't been a grounds keeper in many months and there is garbage all over the place. They don't clean the common areas much and the renters move out a lot because of high rent increases. It is hot as hades in the apartment in summer. The washer and dryer are so tiny it takes forever to do laundry and you can in no way wash a blanket.

They could do a much better job running this place. The garbage has gone over 4 days without being emptied, the room stank as you walked by on many occasions. There seems to be a revolving door on the building people move in and out in no time. They give many reasons they are moving out when I ask them but usually it is because they are unhappy and vote with their feet when their leases are up if they have one. There is no a/c in my bedroom and the 100+ degree Summer we are experiencing is brutal, Senior Apartments with no a/c in the bedroom, what were they thinking? The common areas of the building are worn, dirty and show the wear and tear from so much moving in and out, the doors are filthy and look rarely cleaned, blood on the door to the trash room during a pandemic! You could do so much better Trutina. Sad

Are you looking for luxurious quiet apartments with great neighbors and an engaged management team?…read moreWell, you better keep looking. But if you're looking for razor thin walls, overcrowded parking, and management that will leave you alone while you're violating your lease harder than our Federal Government did with insider trading prior to covid, Bitterroot Lodge is the place for you. Here at Bitterroot Lodge you can enjoy the serene sounds people speeding by your apartment blasting their sub-woofers and the shrill yet constant screams of children right outside. The community pool whenever that re-opens will be absolutely packed with residents and non-residents alike, and the no parking zones will be too while the main office does nothing about it. The landscaping is gorgeous during the warm months, as it should be when they have landscaping crews out here making non-stop noise for 8-10 hours every Monday starting at 7a.m. The spacious wide-open floor plans with hardwood floors coupled with virtually no sound deadening material allows you to hear the pitter patter of lead clad clogs as your neighbor's children run back and forth seemingly never running out of energy. Don't worry though, here at Bitterroot Lodge they value consistency, so the concrete steps attached to the side of your building reverberate hard enough to simulate an earthquake as other residents cross-fit up and down them. When it comes time to sever your lease don't expect any leniency, cooperation, or good will just because you've had a bad experience. In-fact if you ask for any kind of reasonability, you'll likely be told that they "will come after you if you don't pay" despite that not being mentioned in any part of the conversation whatsoever. So, come on down to Bitterroot Lodge and pay premium prices for sub-par living you could easily find at any low-income eligible apartments in the Spokane area. They'll gladly take your money, increase rent to 'match the market' and ignore any concerns you have.

ORIGINAL POST DATE (May 2024): We're confident select Greenstone Homes employees are engaged in a…read morecover-up, & the cover-up headed at the direction of their Building & Division Manager, Drew Benado. This review surrounds Drew's dishonesty regarding the availability of a black cabinet sample of which both it & a brown were offered of the same name titled "Ridgestone-Oak". Our new build was complete March of 2024, with design selections solidified August of 2023. Drew untruthfully insists 2-identical brown "Ridgestone-Oak" cabinet samples currently displayed at Greenstone's River District Design Center are the only samples ever offered. This is an outright falsehood; either he himself replaced the once offered black sample with another brown one shortly following our dispute initiation, or an employee was directed to pull the originally offered black. This is evidenced by... 1. Our photos of all design selections made August of 2023. 2. Geoff Christensen's (Greenstone's Superintendent/Customer Service Representative) possession of the disputed black sample while with us in our home acknowledging the distinct color discrepancy between it, what was installed, & a brown sample's availability at the Design Center under the same name. His sharing he'd recommend the black be pulled due to it not being representative of what was installed. And his assurance, "Don't worry, Greenstone will make things right." 3. Jeremy Nichols' (Greenstone's Sales/Project Manager/Broker) knowledge of the availability of both colors as we made design selections & his assistance in choosing a black. His email to Wendee Kelly (Greenstone's Designer) while in our home prior to its closing with Geoff & black sample in-hand comparing it to what was installed, acknowledging "it doesn't look the same, is very dark, & looks almost painted in color" inviting Wendee to drop by. 3. And finally... Our Realtor's testimony to Drew that a black sample was indeed an option along with a brown, of his presence during our design selection appointment with Wendee, his conversations with both Jeremy & Wendee specifically pertaining to making certain the black version was selected, & emails from them both confirming. We became aware of Drew's cover-up when Geoff brought with him to a collective Huntwood Custom Cabinets meeting (of which we were informed was initiated to determine which company was going to remedy the error) their newly replaced brown color sample; NOT the disputed black. Pictures of this brown sample were taken next to the installed brown cabinets DESPITE our stating it was not the black sample to be brought for comparison. We now know why... This was a Greenstone/Huntwood picture-capturing moment to avoid accountability. These pictures are what Drew's using to close our case & avoid fixing their costly mistake, concluding "the slight color variances are within range". The now sudden withdrawal of support & cooperation from the above mentioned Greenstone Homes employees to further engage with us & remedy our issue deeply shocks & saddens us. Drew's informed us he's their boss. We've yet to hear from any of his superiors at Greenstone. To conclude, we are beyond appalled & astounded at the treatment by all. We had not asked that Greenstone replace the cabinets; that seemed costly. We simply asked that they brush a black stain onto the exposed areas, & at a time convenient for them. Drew's cover-up attempt & outright deception trail following closing is the most disturbing factor of all. It's soured greatly our home-build experience & perception of the entire company. Posting of our experience on various review sites, a BBB filing, & small claims court preparations are our only recourse to help warn others of this apparent business practice when confronted with a significant error on their end. If they choose to right their wrong, we'll update our review. Photos attached. ARBITRATION HEARING CONCLUSION (8/26/24): "The Arguments of the Consumer were overwhelming and prevailed in this case." Our cabinets are now the black color originally offered.

This was very frustrating as being in the professional service industry, quality assurance and continued inspections are paramount to the closure of any project. Bringing this to the attention of our builder, they forwarded my contact information to Dan Anderson, Field Service Manager, who quickly reached out to me and came the next day to conduct a thorough inspection. After going throughout the house in detail, Dan assured me someone from his team would contact me shortly and send one of their 'top technicians to fix everything above and beyond.' Playing the part of the pessimist, I would wait and see to see what materialized as you could imagined I was pretty irate over the product at its current state. Two days later, Kevin (I did not catch his last name) came to the property at precisely the agreed upon time and got straight to work. Kevin went through every single inch of cabinetry with a hawk's eye precision and caught every single mistake, even some I could not even tell what was incorrect prior. For eight hours, Kevin grinded out everything to perfection. During the repair work he was an absolute professional, very easy to talk to, and even explained the errors from prior installation and how he was correcting everything. Kevin is an absolute rockstar and is top tier at his craft; it really showed. Once completed, the entire cabinetry now looks completely different and is the show piece of the home. Huntwood Cabinets already make a superior product. There is no direct competitor in terms of quality in the Inland Northwest. However, meticulous installation is another half of the delivery and key to the final product. So biggest thank you and recognition to George Dunbar, Dan Anderson, Pam, and Kevin (field technician) for quickly correcting everything and going above and beyond. That type of coordinated customer service is something so many companies lack these days so to see it firsthand is amazing. They truly won a customer for life.
