I had continual problems with the management in the two years I lived there. The "managers" seem nice in the beginning but they have no authority. They raised my rent by a huge amount without notice. When I moved out the manager told me everything looked good. But he never looked at the unit. I received a bill for over $2000. The complex is owned by a corporation with a team of attorneys. You will have no recourse to solve problem or accountability for charges. I had pictures and documentation to dispute the charges but nothing changed. They will wreck havoc on your credit score if you don't pay them thousands.stay car, far away. read more

I love the modern design of these apartments, from the design of the buildings to the quartz countertops. Even though it's a small community there is still a gym and a great pool! And you can't beat the location, great restaurants and grocery stores right across the street. read more

If you are considering living at Jake, I would encourage you to stop. Brittney and the other leasing agents were extremely nice before we became residents. They were super friendly, accommodating to our busy work schedules, and convinced us that they were getting us "crazy, never-before-seen​ deals" on our apartment. In fact, this was the most inconvenient apartment (location wise) that we were considering, but because of how kind all the employees seemed to be, we decided to choose Jake. Upon moving in, we realized how very low-quality everything in the apartment is made. Doors don't fully shut all the way without significant force, floorboards started separating and looking cheap, There were dents all over the fridge/freezer, and large, unattractive scratches across closet doors that constantly fall off the track. I have even injured myself multiple times due to the staples that stick out of the poor carpet job in the bedrooms. In addition to the unfortunate quality of the construction, these apartments require a $75 amenity key to dispose of garbage. They literally keep a lock on the community compactor and then put thousands of rules on what residents can dispose of and the specifics of how it is allowed to be disposed of. Is all that stuff annoying? Yes, but is it going to ruin my overall living experience? No. What did ruin my experience was the apartment manager's "better than thou" attitude. Brittney sends MULTIPLE passive aggressive emails monthly threatening fines regarding unspecific acts of noise, trash disposal, pet reporting, and even going so far as telling residents what they can and cannot dispose of in the garbage and recycle and threatening video surveillance to further fine residents. This is a very small apartment complex, so if someone is doing something in violation of the lease, I'd expect the apartment manager to take 10 seconds out of their day to talk to that person directly rather than sending ambiguously aimed emails out to every single resident forcing us to take time out of our days to read long, dragged out messages. And what happens if you accidentally do something wrong? Like leave a bag of recyclables on your balcony and forget about them? Well, you get fined. You don't get a warning, you don't get an email, or a letter asking you to remove it, or even a letter in the​ combination of a fine. You get a fine added to your account with no explanation as to why. So when you finally do inquire, the explanation is "Well, it's in your lease.", which means if you want to live here, you should memorize the 100+ documents you sign, because you are expected to remember everything and never make a mistake. But if you do make a mistake, don't worry, Brittney will be there to fine you and give you a passive aggressive, "I'm better than you" answer to justify the charge. Do yourself a favor. Save yourself from Brittney's bored life and don't live here. read more

We were gouged with extra (surprise) fees on move out despite leaving the unit exceptionally clean. I've lived in numerous apartments over the years and have never experienced this sort of ripoff. What's worse is they already have an outrageously high non-refundable 'redecorating fee' which should have been more than enough - if anything we should have been given a refund, not a bill! We went above and beyond on cleaning ourselves just to be sure. If I knew all this in advance I'd never have moved there. They also failed to keep the grounds safe, with treacherous ice on the walkways in the winter. read more

The management at Jake at Indian Trail is incredible. We just recently moved here from Blue Point Apartments and there is not even a comparison. There were a few minor issues right when we moved into Jake, but all of them were taken care of promptly and professionally. My boyfriend and I really appreciate that we don't feel afraid to contact management with any issues or concerns, they don't make you feel like a burden or inconvenience. To illustrate just how far your money goes, they even sign for your packages at the office and hang onto them for you if you aren't home when the delivery attempt is made. This place is safe, welcoming, friendly, classy, and worth every penny! Aaliyah and Jake have awesome attitudes with all of the residents and potential residents, and it truly feels as if the needs of each individual is important to them. read more

Moving from a home to an apartment is harder than I thought but living maintenance free at the Jake is what I am looking forward to the most. I can't wait to save a bunch of time on driving to the gym because the fitness center has everything I need. My partner and I moved into Jake about a month ago and it's been nothing but amazing. When we first came to tour in June Taylor warmly walked us through the apartments, followed up with us as we began the application and lease signing process and went above and beyond. Our previous apartment complex (in the Bay Area) took advantage of us and failed to really elevate our community. So to move up to Spokane and be so graciously greeted by the staff, the level of sophistication and care while also continuing an open line of communication, is a great change of pace. Meghan has also been nothing but fantastic, answering questions, going through our walk through with us and also just celebrating our new found home. We moved into the Jake apartments in April 2017 and we really love it. From the moment that we started the application process the staff at Jake was very friendly, helpful and professional. We lived out of town and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they made the process. The inside of the apartment has a modern feel with a open floor plan and very nice stainless steal appliances. There are plenty of closets within the apartment to store any extras and the bathroom closets are very large. The complex it self is fairly small and it is pretty quiet all the time. Jake has a nice pool as well as a workout room and is placed in a great location. You can easily walk to the elementary school or a park that is right across the street. Across the street there is also a grocery store, coffee shop, gas station and some restaurants. I would highly recommend the Jake apartments! read more

This was the best community I have seen in Spokane so far. I was really concerned about moving but the walk in bedroom in the two bedrooms are massive. The office gave me plenty ideas on how I can set up my furniture and where I could even store dog food for my pup. Jake is definitely is on the top of my list. read more

I absolutely love this place. We downsized from a house we rented and I could not be happier with my decision. The Office staff,Taylor and Aaliyah, are amazing!!!! They both go above and beyond, even responding after hours while off property, just to make sure the residents are taken care of. You can hear your upstairs neighbors but that is to be expected. If there is any problem the staff fixes it right away. They are here to help and not intrusive. They respect your home and space. The people, parking, and grounds are all amazing. Jake, the maintenance manager is nothing less that fantastic. He is extremely prompt with answers and help. He helped me after hours, walking me through a fix, at 8pm!!!! He was so very kind and made me feel cared for and was able to help me fix the issue. He was very respectful and despite the late hour, he was more than happy to help. He followed up and made sure I was still good. He always has a smile and an answer. He accommodates my schedule. I have dealt with Maitenence managers in the past and Jake is by far the best!!! Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Overall this place is amazing. I literally never want to leave. I love the home and the staff!!! Best decision ever!!!!! read more

These apartments are absolutely gorgeous and the staff is incredible. It is truly a great place to live. Homes are modern, sleek, and efficient. Our Avista bills are unbelievable low and we have constantly ran the Central Air. We moved from the east coast without ever seeing these apartments, and Taylor sent us videos of driving up Indian Trail and of the community and apartment to help us make our decision, since we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We had an issue with a small leak in the apartment and the Jake Staff, including Megan, Taylor, and Jake, went out of their to make it right and ensure that we were taken care of. Parking is a bit clustered if you have two cars, but even the furthest parking space is only a minute or so walk because the community is not too big. If you are considering living here, DO IT. We looked into these apartments before they were built, the modern design and floor plans looked interesting. After seeing what they look like in person this entire complex is an eyesore of the neighborhood. And I would never pay their prices to not have an actual garage. Go over the Selkirk or Lusitano that have garages and are much more esthetically pleasing. I also find it in poor taste for developers to place complexes so close to existing homes. I feel so sorry for the people who own homes behind this place, they used to have a view and now they are blocked by three stories of "modern" design. read more
