Terrible. Terrible communication. Went to get the screen repaired on my car stereo. He took the console out, had it for 2 weeks so I was without heat or ac for 2 weeks. I called and asked what was taking so long and he said "the guy who does the repair hasn't been around". So then I call back a week later and he says to bring it in. I said how long will it take to put in and he says "I don't know , 40 minutes" and hangs up the phone on me. So I take it in only for him to tell me "the screen is not fixed, I have to order the piece from shanghai". Then goes on to say he's going to put the console back in and order the part. I said "no thanks I'll take it elsewhere ". This is when he said "you are the rudest customer I have had in 30 years". I wasted a month in this place promising to fix the screen. I will not be returning. He guy is rude, arrogant and has no bedside manner. The only good thing he did was not charge me for his own problems in fixing my car. read more

I had trouble with my car security system where the car wouldn't start. Shopped around and Scott was the only one who would take a look at. Well he fixed it for me on Christmas Eve no less! Charged me a very reasonable amount. read more

The business sights and sounds is the best place to go for auto alarms, remote starters, stereos, etc . The owner is so helpful and so kind. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I had an issue with my alarm in my car and it wouldn't let me start my car. No one would even look at it for me. Mechanics said it was an alarm thing and alarm stores said it's a mechanical problem. Sights and sounds were awesome they had no problem with taking a look at it and they fixed the alarm so it works like it was supposed to! I was super happy! They have installed remote starters in 2 of our vehicles and a brake box for my trailer in my truck. They get 10 stars!! read more

I will never recommend this horrid place to anyone but I will recommend you go anywhere else, honestly doing it yourself is probably a better bet. I brought my car to him to put an automatic starter in and I brought it to him for my 8:30 am appointment last Wednesday and asked how long he thought it would take and told me no longer than 4 hours and I said perfect cause I don't have to be at class until 4. Well 12:30 rolls around and no call so I decide to finally call him at 2:30ish getting worried it won't be done before class, he tells me there's a problem (but doesn't tell me what the problem is) and I say okay and he says okay and hangs up without giving me time to ask when the estimated time would be... so I head to class for 4 and tell my mom she will have to pick up the car while I'm at class. During my class my mom called and he tells her he can't fix the problem (which we still don't know what it is) and has to take it overnight. I have a VERY busy schedule and this doesn't work for me when it was only supposed to take 4 hours and I got no communication otherwise until 7 pm that night...so I go there and ask to take my car back with the part that will not perform its abilities but he swore was safe for me to drive around that night and next day. Meanwhile before getting my car back I asked him maybe I should just not get the part because it doesn't seem like it's working out and he banged his head on the counter in front of me and exclaims Ive never had this happen in 20 years where someone wants to give up after I put in 9 hours of effort in. Which I felt bad he had done a long days work but I never asked him too this could've been resolved at the 4 hour mark if he had only called.. Anyway he let me have the car that night in "happy freakin Halloween" as he tossed my keys across the counter at me very rudely. I didn't want to take the part if it wasn't working though so I made an appointment for the following week. While heading to my job where I drive kids home from school (so it is VERY IMPORTANT my car be safe) I turned my left blinker on and my wiper went crazy and hazard lights went on. Meanwhile it only happens when the heat is on and my high beams are stuck on too! I had no idea what was going on and I freaked out knowing it was the new part or something the owner of sights and sounds did!! (After promising me it was safe he felt bad which I appreciate and he also probably felt guilty for yelling at me) anyway he said he would fix it so we brought it that Saturday morning and he spent all day working on it again only to put the original part in and said all my technical problems were fixed. On sunday I was driving to my other job and the issues with the lights and heat were still happening!!! This guy obviously doesn't know what he's doing and I had to take my car back to it's dealership to get it fixed for a super HIGH cost compared to what I would've spent to get this automatic starter in in the first place. So now I don't have an automatic starter and I had to spend 3 extra days out of my full schedule to fix this. NEVER GO HERE OR YOUR WEEK WILL BE RUINED! read more

I've had a couple of very good experiences with this place. The first was the reprogramming and replacement of a remote key for my truck. The second was for the installation of an electric brake controller. The outcomes were both excellent. The price was very reasonable, and the owner is very helpful. read more

Nice guy but horrible experience. After having my am/fm receiver broken off during installation of a sub I was left without any radio at all for a week while the owner sent out my radio to be "repaired". After spending upwards of 500 dollars my system was completely destroyed. On anything other than cd mode all that could be heard was fuzz. Had to take it elsewhere and spend 400 more dollars to get fixed. The second guy said in 30 years in this business he's never seen such a sloppy job (frayed wires held together with tape and random clamps). I had to purchase a whole new radio because the damage on my original one (in a brand new car$ was damaged beyond repair. Very disappointing read more
