She called the office and asked for a emergency appointment and they told he no.. the dr from the urgent care even spoke to them and said is a emergency and she was told no. My daughter was told they would call this morning and never did, when she called today they told her the dr isn't taking emergency appointments. Now that we told them how we feel and we are doing to tell everyone how she was treated they are concerned and want my daughter to come in. Its to late for that since she had to go to the hospital for treatment. This is the last time she will ever call any of there offices. Beware of SightMD.

I took my 8 year old daughter to see Dr. Katz and had one of the most disappointing and upsetting…read moremedical experiences I've ever had. From the moment the appointment started, he was dismissive, rushed, and showed no patience or empathy toward my child. I explained her condition in detail, including the fact that her previous specialist had moved and that we were advised to monitor symptoms like increased pain or flashes of light. Instead of acknowledging anything I said, he cut me off and told me there was "nothing we can do" and that she would ''just have to live with the pain." When I questioned how a parent is supposed to accept that, he responded defensively, asking, "Well what do you recommend we do then? What have doctors been able to do for her all these years?" His tone was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. He then said he wasn't the right doctor for her and handed me a list of other doctors. Even as we were putting our jackets on, he stood over us holding the clipboard in my face, demanding that I take it to the front desk. No patience, no basic courtesy. My daughter left the office crying and asked why a doctor would tell her she should live with pain, something no child should ever hear from a medical professional. To make matters worse, when I went to check out and asked the front desk how I could file a complaint, I was told that they didn't have a phone number or email for that!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend him, especially for pediatric care. A doctor should have compassion, patience, and respect, none of which we experienced here.

I've heard rumors that this man runs a pill mill and always pushes Oxys and other meds like this. My sister also came with me as well, she was truly freighted. He did a full examination on her and we are in the process of launching a lawsuit against him. The way my sister tells me he touched her was very uncomfortable for her. She came barging out of the exam room in tears. As I tries to confront this man, his football quarterback looking secretary told us the doctor was busy. However, we all saw the amount of catered food coming into the office. The doctor ran off to have lunch. Listen people just be careful from this guy. He gives off a very weird vibe. I think he was using drugs or on something for sure. So just be careful and try to find another Dr. To see there are plenty in the area.

She has great bed side manners, very talkative, personable and listens to his patients concerns. He also pays very close attention to details in his patients health. My whole family now sees Dr Chumaceiro and I couldn't be happier with our choice.
