And the FIVE Star barrage continues! I mean, I really wanted to give this place four stars, but things seem simple enough to just give them a high five. I basically yelped it up with the owner/manager, and she was like "I don't get it. I mean I like it, but I don't get it." Talking about the law of averages, their current review ratings, and the high expectations with a five star review. Reasons why I dig this place: 1) It's pretty rare to visit a champagne only tasting room, as most vineyard tasting rooms will offer bubbly from a partner. This place has a decent variety to choose from. 2) The decor of this fancy little place was perfect for an anniversary kickoff between the two of us. As we later had a dinner date across the street. 3) The prices were average ($14-18, 3 glasses of 2oz pours): They carry Brut, local California makers, Rosé, and Sweet flights. 4) It's somewhat down a narrow shopping alley, almost deeming them in the 'hidden gem' category. But making it a simple place where you can pass the time with a book, or catch up with an old friend. 5) The manager was really courteous and shared some extra pours outside of our flight so we can make comparisons. Score! There you go, my five reasons for my five stars. You should check it out if you have the chance; It's different! Now if you map this place, you'll notice it's in the heart of Sonoma. Wow!! I am so glad my coworker recommended this place. This is a small cute sparkling wine bar right in the Sonoma square. We got the California flight. Not sure I would recommend that flight. The first wine the domaine carneros brut was good but the rose and the iron horse sparkling wine were very dry and didn't have much flavor. My coworker recommended the Rosa regale sparkling wine. We added that to our flight for $7. It was AMAZING. 3 of us ended up buying the bottle. I want to come back here again with a smaller group and try more of the sparkling wines they have. I can't say enough about this amazing champagne bar and the incredible owner, Jayme. We came to Sonoma for a couple of days and this was our first and last stop. The selection was terrific and the conversation hilariously engaging. We did the first flight and a few glasses on the first visit and had so much fun. Jayme talked with us and heard what we like and found a special bottle from the back that she thought we would enjoy (definitely did). We had such a good time that we had her chill it and came back the next night for the higher end flight and the chilled bottle and just laughed the entire time. Definitely the highlight of our trip and will be at the top of our list when we return to the area! read more

I've been here a few times now, I used to go to the old location and been here twice at the new location this new one is so very elegant and beautiful! FYI it's very expensive but for a special occasion you definitely wanna go here, I came here for my daughter's birthday we had a wonderful time me and her two girlfriends drank $300 worth of champagne but split between the four of us that's not so horrible and we came again for another friend, it was her birthday and bought a couple hundred dollars worth of champagne again and had a wonderful time! everybody is very helpful lots of great smile's an incredible selection of champagne that boggles the mind I will come here again and again for the ambience and the champagne! Sigh was one of the highlights of our Sonoma trip. If you are in the historic square area of Sonoma definitely stop in here for a sip. I love bubbles! The owners have managed to create a unique low key space to highlight the best of sparkling wine and/or champagne without any note of pretentiousness. We were warmly welcomed in and invited to sit at any open spot. You can order by the glas, bottle, or flight. We tried a couple of flights. The staff member working that day was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I was a little disappointed in that they said we could not have a flight so instead We got the sparkling rosé. I was so excited to try this place since I love champagne and even though they didn't have any of the champagnes I wanted to try, I was still excited to be here. What killed the mood for me was when my husband accidentally dropped his champagne and the hostess looked annoyed that she had to come clean it up and asked him if he wanted another glass with attitude. Why was she annoyed? Accidents happen, especially in a "bar" where people are drinking, potentially getting drunk. But we had just sat down and were not even drunk. My husband was laughing and reached over to get a cracker without looking and did not realize his glass of champagne was in front of his plate. We sat by the couches, where the tables are micro and I had gotten a flight, so imagine 4 glasses and a plate of crackers and jam on a table the size of a big frisbee.
