We travelled South to Siesta Key before heading back North under the Ringling bridge. The ship is large with 2 decks and dinner was provided; salad, au gratin potatoes, vegetables, salmon , bread and prime rib were served. Desserts were an assortment of cakes (chocolate, key lime, and strawberry). Given how beautiful the evening turned out, the scenery was revealing- beautiful homes, unfortunately Some destroyed by Helene and Milton- some being restored. Overall, a worthwhile experience that will be repeated. Full bar offered as well.

My wife's grouper sandwich was raw. Waited for another and also raw. So she sent it back and didn't eat. I ordered salmon sliders. They forgot my order? Had to wait quite awhile. Our friends received wrong order. They had to bring the correct one. The manager came and we explained the issues. His response was we have a big party inside. Not our problem! 3 of 4 orders wrong! He said what do you want me to do? He should have said I will comp your meals. Just a horrible manager. Felt bad for waitress.

Right from the beginning, Jeff responded quickly and answered all of my questions. All add-ons were included in the boat rental, which isn't the case with any other rentals that I read through. Most of them charge $40 for the floating mat, $20 for a cooler, $40 for snorkeling gear etc. All of these items were included in our price of the boat rental for the day, which was awesome and we used all of them! Jeff sent me a list of so many cool places to check out like sand bars and places to dock the boat and explore. He updated us on any weather-related issues we may have run into and was available all day for any concerns or questions we had. It was my first time renting a boat and being out on the water without a captain and we had such an easy and relaxing day, and I felt safe and assured that we weren't just going to be stranded or alone if something happened (LOL). We will absolutely be renting from Little Philly Sea Adventures and doing buisness with Jeff again in the future. Thank you so much for such an awesome experience. It was 10/10, I have no complaints at all!

Despite the huge group, Jordan and Jacob were able to lead us successfully through 3 mangrove tunnels, and we stopped off at a beach area too. There was a point in which a friend of mine had to get "towed" because she was struggling to navigate through a tunnel. They used a string to hitch her kayak to one of theirs! I have been kayaking many times, and even for me, it was kind of challenging to paddle through, which I enjoyed. It was so cool to go through the tunnels. Very peaceful. Jacob & Jordan provided some great information about the history & formation of the tunnels, explained different birds in the area as we saw them, and even showed us a starfish. All of the paddles and kayaks (single and tandem) seemed to be in good working order. Dry bags and life jackets were provided as well. I highly recommend this team!

This year I kept the streak alive with a charming overnight stay onboard the Dream Lover. Our hosts, Kay & Jonathan (yes, that's Captain Cook) and their dog Skipper welcomed us aboard like long lost family. We enjoyed a beautiful breezy afternoon chatting topside over a nice glass of wine and some snacks. Kay and Jonathan gave us lots of suggestions for places to dine and we spent the evening exploring the area. Later that night after dinner we lounged on deck - enjoying the night air. Our accommodations in the captains quarters gave us a first hand taste of what living on a boat is like from the gentle rocking and splashing sounds against the hull to the unusual blender-like action when you flushed the head (that's boating lingo for toilet to you land lubbers!) Just two blocks off the sand, we took a 3 mile walk on the beach the next morning and came back to a wonderful breakfast and generous amounts of coffee! Then Jonathan treated us to a little tour in and around the surrounding marinas on their dinghy Bad Dog. It was the perfect way to cap off the stay. If you are looking for a unique place, if the idea of life on a boat intrigues you, if you are willing to exchange the cookie cutter experience of a chain motel for a one of a kind, authentically nautical overnight experience (with all the quirks that entails) this is the place for you.
