We drove the hour down to Sarasota from our hotel and couldn't have been happier with the tour and our guide Greg, he did a great job, he was personable, had some great stories about the area and the wildlife. Despite the huge group, Jordan and Jacob were able to lead us successfully through 3 mangrove tunnels, and we stopped off at a beach area too. There was a point in which a friend of mine had to get "towed" because she was struggling to navigate through a tunnel. They used a string to hitch her kayak to one of theirs! I have been kayaking many times, and even for me, it was kind of challenging to paddle through, which I enjoyed. It was so cool to go through the tunnels. Very peaceful. Jacob & Jordan provided some great information about the history & formation of the tunnels, explained different birds in the area as we saw them, and even showed us a starfish. All of the paddles and kayaks (single and tandem) seemed to be in good working order. Dry bags and life jackets were provided as well. I highly recommend this team!

The dolphins played in our speed waves, it was unbelievable. Kathe is local, lived here her whole life, daughter and wife of a fisherman...so she cares about the area, shows things like bird sanctuaries and is very careful with the gulf life. Island Style provided gently used kayaks and paddles, life vests and even plastic bags for our belongings. Remember to use sun screen on the back of your neck and arms. Also consider a bottle of water. We just wore shorts and t-shirts. Our guide was Kelly. He was prompt and courteous. He had us in the water and out of the water at the agreed times. Our guide made the adventure memorable. Starting with dry land instructions, our guide exhibited consistent knowledge, patience, encouragement . He continued to provide thoughtful instruction throughout the trip. Our guide helped us locate dolphins, snakes and pin fish along the Lido Park Mangroves. Also spotted green heron, ibis, and snowy egrets just outside mangrove tunnels. We had a wonderful adventure and Island Style provide us with a relaxing and intimate way to experience Sarasota's natural treasures.
