Fantastic experience! I was cynical because of their guarantee to see dolphins claim, but my husband and I and his uncle and wife became raving fans of Melissa and captain Chris! They were great fun! Melissa was very knowledgeable, and it was how she shared her knowledge that made all the difference! She was fun, personable, no facade, and just friendly that you can see hanging out with her and captain Chris. We did see two dolphins righ at the beginning of the cruise, so I was like, 'well, son of a gun! I guess their guarantee came through!' We didn't see any more dophins for the rest of the trip, and that was totally fine. Melissa was simply fantastic. Oh, and the sunset was pretty spectacular as well!

Another beautiful evening and sunset, guided by Captain Josh and first mate Kathy! The boat is roomy and comfortable and there were just 8 of us on board, so almost a private guided tour! Bring your own food (we did) and drinks (of any kind) and you're ready to go! Free public parking is two blocks away, as the city pier lot is tiny. Boat departs from the Bradenton City pier. Check-in is at the pier entrance. Sunset cruise departed promptly at 6pm, on time snd we set of to see some dolphins- and they obliged, swimming around and under the boat! Then out to the gulf for sunset and an easy ride back to the dock. This is our third trip with visiting friends and each has been a blast!

We did the sunset dolphin tour and would high recommend it. It was relaxing and beautiful. It's family friendly and the captain & mate did a great job as well.

Awesome tour! Best so far on Anna Maria Island! Saw dolphins up close and saw an awesome sunset! The crew, Jimmy and Melissa were so nice and had a lot of trivia to share about the area and dolphins.

Easy to see why this place is #1. Josh was the captain, Melissa was the guide. Fabulous 90 Minutes on the water in a brand new boat. We saw dolphins and amazing birds and scenery. Melissa was a wealth of knowledge on local history, restaurants and celebrity homes. We could not have asked for a better tour!!

Adorable playful dolphins so close to the boat!

Captains were fun and knowledgeable. Dolphins were the closest I've gotten to on a cruise! Water was aquamarine and gorgeous. 90 minute cruise for $30! Amazing deal! We wanna go back already! Highly recommend

Tour today was wonderful. Fun and knowledgeable guides, comfortable boat. Saw multiple dolphins (at least 10, two different groups), and a group of manatees. Their web site warns you to arrive 30 minutes early due to sparse parking. I recommend allowing more than that, or taking the trolley if you are already staying on A.M.I. Ages of passengers ranged from about 4 to 80 and it was easy and safe for everyone.

Captain josh and first mate jake were great! Went for the sunset cruise and saw the amazing sunset and of course some dolphins. Loved the commentary of area sights and history.

Went on a Dolphon Boat tour with Captain Justin and First Mate Christine. It was fun and informative! We saw dolphins and Christine pointed out which were male and female. Definitely would do it again! Debby

Christina and Justin were wonderful tour guides on the boat. They deserve accolades and a raise.

Captain Mike kept his distance but we still had an amazing view since the dolphins were the ones coming to us.

This year I kept the streak alive with a charming overnight stay onboard the Dream Lover. Our hosts, Kay & Jonathan (yes, that's Captain Cook) and their dog Skipper welcomed us aboard like long lost family. We enjoyed a beautiful breezy afternoon chatting topside over a nice glass of wine and some snacks. Kay and Jonathan gave us lots of suggestions for places to dine and we spent the evening exploring the area. Later that night after dinner we lounged on deck - enjoying the night air. Our accommodations in the captains quarters gave us a first hand taste of what living on a boat is like from the gentle rocking and splashing sounds against the hull to the unusual blender-like action when you flushed the head (that's boating lingo for toilet to you land lubbers!) Just two blocks off the sand, we took a 3 mile walk on the beach the next morning and came back to a wonderful breakfast and generous amounts of coffee! Then Jonathan treated us to a little tour in and around the surrounding marinas on their dinghy Bad Dog. It was the perfect way to cap off the stay. If you are looking for a unique place, if the idea of life on a boat intrigues you, if you are willing to exchange the cookie cutter experience of a chain motel for a one of a kind, authentically nautical overnight experience (with all the quirks that entails) this is the place for you.

We enjoyed spending time with them and learning all about the boat- something we have never thought much about! Breakfast was to die for, and the wine a fantastic added bonus;-) I have never felt more at home while on vacation- and that is NOT an exaggeration! The boat is well kept, clean, and oh so comfortable. It was such a unique way to spend our anniversary- I cannot wait to bring our daughter back for a weekend adventure and would recommend a stay to anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.
