I thought the work was too much for one person to handle but Dwight continued slugging away for 13 hours and finished the work. The stones we had put on our front stairs were failing after 15 years and there were a number of bricks starting to break down on our over 40 years old house. Since we are a corner lot our home is exposed on 3 sides and a lot of snow, ice and rain damage occurs. I was very impressed by this very personable young man and the work ethics and diligence he showed. His professional attitude towards the work and his constant double checking the alignment of the stairs and bricks with levels assured me everything was being done of the highest quality.

What a rollercoaster of an experience. First started with Joseph who promised us that it would be a…read moregreat experience and he even throw in a upgrade on the step. The work is good but that's when things started to turn. First during the job Mitchell got the step wrong but in my favour added an even larger step. I heard him then yell at Joseph. When the job was done I was able to get my neighbor to use them for a job. And they used my water. ( I love my neighbor and would have allowed them to use my house/water, but me or my wife were never.asked and I only saw a kid under my deck turning on/off my water.. When I asked Mitchell why, he said don't worry I gave you an upgrade on the step. Now the last thing is there's a part of the pathway to the side of the house where the brick is separating/falling and I've been asking Mitchell to come and fix ( he said it's under warranty, at least what Joseph mentioned to me) it's been 2 months no show. Joseph and Mitchell aren't working together anymore and it's been stressful trying to figure out who can come and fix it. Would I recommend their work? I did before but now after experiencing this I would say just go deal with Joseph directly who has his own landscaping company (njx) I'm still willing to change this review as the work was done well by Mitchell, just a small fix is needed but the whole experience was basically a shitshow

My neighbour and I signed up on July 11, 2020 to get a driveway extension and interlocking…read morecompleted. The man who we have only met in person and talked to was Joseph. We were under the impression that he would be doing the work. He signed us up under a contract with Can-Loc Interlocking and had to pay a 10% deposit. Can-Loc Interlocking is owned by Mitchell Nugent. There were a lot of promises that he would come on a certain day to do the work. We were initially told he was booking 2 weeks out from when we called to sign up but it took a month for Joe to come and complete the excavation which occurred on Aug 6, 2020. Once the excavation was completed, he said that the interlocking would be completed soon. He never gave us a date. Since August we have been following up with Joe numerous times and he keeps saying that Mitchell will be here on a certain day but no one shows up. I have a screenshot of Joe's and Mitchell's text messages indicating that Mitchell doesn't care about when he starts and he doesn't care that he starts in November. He also indicated that he doesn't have to give us any updates. At that point Mitchell had never reached out to us. He finally replied to my text message on Sept 24 saying he would be here the following week. It's now December and he's yet to arrive. Every week he had an excuse of being tied up and couldn't make it. On Oct 9, we decided to change the brick colour to get the work expedited because we found out the colour we want was not available by calling a local store. Mitchell then said that he can 100% be here the following week once we changed the brick colour. On Oct 14, he said Best Way Stone would be delivering the bricks on Saturday. Nothing arrived so then he said Monday-Tuesday. Nothing arrived again. He then said he would pick up the bricks himself on Wednesday and be here end of Wednesday or Thursday. I have followed up with him since Thursday and he hasn't responded to my calls or text messages. In fact, he has never returned any of my calls. We have paid 55% of the entire cost and so far we just have a big hole in the front of our driveway's.

Unbelievable service with exceptional results!…read more We needed our chimney rebuilt, parging done around the house, bricks that required repairs and a complete renovation to our porch and walkway. Once we saw the craftsmanship and meticulousness of how Dan worked to match up the brickwork for the Chimney and how professionally he and his crews preformed in all areas including clean-up at the end of the day-we were sold! Every nook and cranny requiring repair around the foundation was done expertly. The chimney looks amazing and you would never know the bricks weren't the same (they were older bricks that were discontinued). The care and precision taken in every step of the process was done to perfection. The porch stone work is spectacular and how they worked to ensure the angles for water flow (away from the house)...everything was taken into consideration. At the onset, quotes were reasonable prior to Covid-19 and he stuck to what was promised with no hidden surprises - and let us know when one project turned out to be less than quoted. Dan was always assessable for a call and came when promised - all work was completed on time and the whole process was smooth from the very start to the end.
