Excellent Roof Repair Service! Highly recommend!!!…read more After last winter's ice damming caused leaks in my kitchen, I contacted JP Lucky Construction based on a friend's recommendation. From the start, Wendy was quick to respond and set up a free consultation within two days. James inspected my roof and offered an honest, practical solution without pushing for unnecessary work. The repair was done promptly and professionally, and Wendy kept me updated throughout. I'm very happy with their service and would highly recommend them!

On September 3, 2022, I entered a contract with Wendy, representing JP Lucky, for the framing of a…read morecustom home in Stouffville. Throughout the construction process, Wendy frequently changed the contractors assigned to the project--ultimately involving four to five different teams. I was present on-site regularly and personally observed these changes. The subcontractors engaged by JP Lucky often delivered substandard work. Once deficiencies were identified, JP Lucky would dismiss the existing team and hire new subcontractors to continue. Although I fulfilled my obligations under the contract, JP Lucky failed to complete the project on time, and the work completed was defective. Due to these issues, I submitted a claim for adjudication through the Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts (ODACC), Case No. XXXX. On December 18, 2024, ODACC issued its Determination, providing copies to both the Respondent and me. The Determination ordered the Respondent to reimburse me $XXX,XXX (including HST) and $X,XXX (including HST), representing 50% of the adjudication fee. Despite my repeated demands, JP Lucky has failed to comply with the Determination or remit the required payment. While Wendy and JP Lucky initially present themselves as amicable and reliable, their conduct reveals a failure to act in good faith. Despite receiving payment for services, they have refused to return funds for work that was either unfinished or materially deficient, thereby disregarding the interests of their clients.

I chose Alex because of the positive reviews he had and because he lives here in Bolton. My job was just a small job which Alex scheduled around some larger jobs he was committed to and my somewhat spotty availability. I was very pleased with how well Alex kept in touch with respect his availability and responded promply when I contacted him. I was pleased with the work he did for me. He took his time and clearly wanted to do good work. He was patient (something anyone who works for me needs to be) and pleasant to deal with. I'm pleased to recommend him to others. Grant

Its only fair that I post my recent experience with Yuri and Uco Construction and update my review…read more There were some issues this spring with my stained deck after the snow had all melted off of it but, after Yuri got back to me, he and his employees got to work and they have restored my faith in his company and the quality of work that they do. My deck was re-sanded and re-stained and they even replaced some damaged wood planks that were in bad shape. It is a pleasure to see that there are still companies and people out there that care about the work that they do and ultimately care about keeping their customers satisfied. Yuri is a man of his word and he took care of whatever issues that we had and I highly recommend his company. Thank you Yuri for being a gentleman and a good business person. Nobody is perfect out there and the key to being good at what you do is how you take care of unexpected issues that my occur in business and I know that Yuri and Uco Construction is a company that you can trust. Thank you!
