We first met Mike of Window Land at the Home Show and Canada Blooms. It was the first company we spoke with and, after interviewing a number of companies; it was the company we chose to complete our window retrofit in our 130-year-old century home. We were glad we did. Window Land provided us with up front information about a number of window manufacturers he deals with, all with different pros and cons, to meet our needs. We weren't stuck with the suspiciously "best" and conveniently only window other installers were selling, Mike had options and was able to show us the differences between brands and costs. He made us feel comfortable in making an informed decision, and quoted us a fair price. We completed lots of research and found lots of companies with lots of good reviews, but we really liked the Window Wise installation certification Mike's installers offered, and the technical offerings of the VinylBilt windows. Mike was not pushy but asked questions in tailoring our window selection to our needs and attempt to restore the look of our Victorian home with modern and practical features. Once we placed the order and the windows were ready, Mike contacted us and sent his professional installers (approximately 2 weeks). The installers are very experienced (over 18 years with Window Land), considerate, clean and precise. They completed all the window installation and capping in our house in one day and took care to clean up the space. We were impressed that they completed the project in one day. As he left, he promised a quote within 24 hours. We're still waiting for the quote after 10 days - and after follow-up phone calls and emails. Not a word! As a former VP of Sales and Marketing, this is completely unprofessional. We gave the business to another company who gave us a verbal quote on the spot and then followed up the next day with a written one. Brock Doors and Windows are not worth wasting you time over.

This company has a lot to answer for. They priced out a storm door for my home along with a patio…read moredoor for the back of my home. At their insistence, they wanted two separate invoices. As it turns out, the reason was because they had no intention of completing the storm door. They only used that as a ruse to gain the patio door business since I was clear I'd only hire a company that would do both. Unfortunately they let the fact that they would not install a storm door slip a few months later, but it was already too late. As for the patio door, the installation was a mess. They tore off trim that didn't need to be removed and GLUED TRIM TO MY TILE for some reason. Cheap trim too along with cheap sealer - we're talking the cheapest Home Depot grade materials. On the outside, they made several ugly miscuts and then tried to hide it all with a comically-large path of sealer, smeared all over my antique wooden siding. After I complained they returned to try to correct the job and managed to make it WORSE! Even Brock's salesperson agreed it was unacceptable. But then Brock stopped answering the phone or returning emails. They vanished for months. Finally I received a call demanding payment. I told them they had done damage and abandoned the work but other than acknowledging some of their mistakes their only response was to file a collection agency report FOR WORK THEY ADMITTED WAS SUBSTANDARD. There's a lot more to this story than just this too, but I don't want this review to go on forever, either. I urge strong caution to anyone considering doing business with this company.T
