Dealing with Royal Decks has been an endlessly frustrating experience. You pay a hefty deposit ($5000) up front to save the dates 2 months in advance. What was quoted as a 7-10 day job took 2.5 months...always caught up in other jobs. They just disappear for weeks and really don't seem to care. The weather was fine so that wasn't an excuse. You pick out your material months before but they keep having to order it (sorry don't have the plants, and sorry don't have the railings) etc which leads to delays again and again. They made some big mistakes and gave us poor options to fix them. Some of their problems were related to their poor communication with other tradespeople who all were upset by Royal Decks behaviour. What should have been a straightforward relatively small but expensive job has been headache after headache. Problem is once you've spent the money what recourse do you have? Would never recommend them.

They showed up at 11 a.m. and had to…read morework beyond 5 p.m. even though they knew more than a month in advance that it was a condo with a no noise policy after 5p.m. They were unprofessional, ill prepared, and in the end they left all appliances disconnected and made a huge mess. I tried calling a plumber in to reinstall the sink but he said that I needed to call the cabinetry crew back in to put a hole in the new cabinetry for a new sink.. and the plumber was unable to reconnect the dishwasher because the outlet wasn't accessible. So finally after a huge ordeal and $650 dollars later, there is a new sink and faucet installed and the dishwasher is back in.. however the microwave/fan unit is still disconnected and I need to get in a third contractor to reconnect it but no guarantees at this point. Do yourself a big favour, pay 3K more for a professional crew and save yourself the headache and all of this b.s. I don't understand how such people are still in business.

I kept ignoring it, figuring it would cost a fortune to fix. Finally, after a couple of years of looking the other way, I phoned "Mr. Stucco" and "Les" came to my home, covered everything with plastic tarps and proceeded to cheerfully fix it. By the time he'd finished, you'd never know there was ever any problem. The ceiling looked new: fresh, white and perfect. Les cleaned up everything, so it was like there had never been a mess. I was so pleased! And it didn't cost nearly what I'd imagined. It was around $700, and worth every penny.

He seems to be new the company, and there were couple of bumps along the way, but Hubert worked very hard to ensure that everything was taken care of properly and that I was happy. But my contractor could not install it due to some unforeseen circumstances. When we opened the boxes months later we noticed that the refrigerator was missing. I did not expect anything from the company since it was my fault most probably that I did not check the shipment correctly or the refrigerator was stolen or something else. I still contacted with the company just to ask them if they could check if they sent the item. They checked and confirmed that it was sent. But surprisingly they sent me a replacement free of charge as a compliment. The customer service by BHARATI was very timely, effective, courteous and responsive. She called me and sent emails enough times about this ticket and for other purchases I placed later and a couple delivery problems. I don't know about the products' quality or durability as they are still not installed but I am very confident if I have further problems the company will stand by their products. Overall, great company, greater customer service and greatest representative.

I was irritated but agreed to the following Saturday (today, 7/25/2026). An hour before the scheduled time for the install I received a text that they couldn't come today. My wife and kids are on a vacation that I didn't go on because I needed to be here. The man that scheduled the install is very unresponsive and gets back to you days later after you reach out to him. Do not do business with this company. You have been warned!
