That's the only reason he even has a job I'm sure. I rented an apartment from these idiots about a year ago and have had nothing but problems. I've had continuous water leaks, drywall damage, and mold. Instead of fixing the problem, this guy told me "I thought you were fucking with us so I wasn't taking the situation seriously". Not only was he rude, but didn't do a thing to fix the problems in my apartment. After LOTS of calls and complaints, he finally sent someone out to fix my drywall. Not to fix the water leak from upstairs, just to patch up the ceiling. The water leaks continued for months. When plumbers came out SIX MONTHS LATER to fix the leak that had spread across the ceiling of my ENTIRE apartment, they left huge holes in the walls and ceiling, exposing extreme mold. The damage and mold was still there when I vacated the unit A MONTH AFTER REPAIRS. I wrote the owner/broker (Teresa Jacobs) to inform her about the on-going situation. I also made her aware of her son's lack of professionalism. Both of which were completely ignored! These people are your typical desert slumlords. This mother-son duo are discusting, classless pigs. I called the old realty company and I felt I got the run around in getting my payment back to my bank account. I then called LRS Realty management and spoke with Jahana and she took the Bull by the horns and told me give a day to solve the problem and sure enough she came through. He put in the application for the unit and because my name is on the LLC I was asked to put in an application as well, which is understandable, however it was not needed from my understanding of other companies. We gave them all the information they asked for which was so much things even unnecessarily things; Check Stubs, bank statements, Job verification, and even tax returns. My partner was OVER QUALIFIED for the building and either they did not want black people in it because It almost felt like they didn't want to give us the building in the first place so they were trying to find any reason not too. Every time we called for questions she would never answer. When I asked to speak to someone above chrystle they would contact me with Diana and she was worse dealing with. I even had to apply for a business license and business insurance before even knowing I was going to get the building I spent so much money to get in the building to not get the building. a week ago I was told that the owner approves however I have to pay a double deposit which was never mentioned to me at all. They stated due to never leasing a commercial building however when I put in the application and even before, she knew this was our first building so it definitely should have been mention that I might have to pay a higher deposit. The deposit amount was listed online, and didn't say anything about it possibly being more. When I agreed to pay the double deposit, I was told that I have to pay the full rent on top of the double deposit to the leasing company before even seeing a lease which was on a Friday. And she will not give me the lease or keys till Tuesday. I have never heard that in my life me giving someone $5000 before even getting to see a lease agreement nor a draft. I started to do research on this company and seen they had so many reviews on keeping people deposit, so I wanted to see the lease agreement before handing them any money and they refused. The communication was horrible. They do not answer the phone and barely answer text, the experience was devastating. I even made an appointment to see the building and the person that was supposed to show me the building canceled the same day and I took off of work to be there. I would have rather spoke to the owner because I really wonder if they know their business is in the hands of an incapable business. When I told them I don't feel comfortable giving them almost 5k without seeing any type of documentation, they replied to me and said they are cancelling my application.
