Totally fake and dihonest, all furniture is old, things are broken, way overpriced and rude service, they will come in your unit whenever they want and I have them on camera coming in and looking around, they do not make repairs until you are going to leave, so dishonest. We stayed in this temporary housing almost a year. It was safe, well managed, and comes at a great price. They address any issues that arise. The grounds are well kept. Covered parking a plus. Anything you need is in the unit and it all works. Allowing pets in some units too helped us immensely. Central air was a blessing compared to other places with swamp coolers. read more

When I come to Ridgecrest for business, I like to stay at VIP Temp Housing. It certainly beats a hotel room since you get a living room, kitchen, fridge, and have pots and pans. I will stock up on grocery and then bring them back to the room. There are TVs in the living room and the bedroom. The place is nice and cozy. It's rare to find something like this in other cities. For a 1 bedroom, I pay about $77 per night, including taxes. Carriage Inn would cost more because they tack on taxes and other fees. One thing someone may complain about is there's no daily house keeping. As long as you can clean up after yourself, you won't need one. read more

Roger and Justin are the best! I had a last minute change to my schedule and they absolutely did an excellent job going above and beyond to accommodate me in a pinch. This apartment is clean and comfortable with everything I need to feel home away from home. I am so impressed with the way this business is run. I was personally escorted to the apartments and the two men I dealt with (Roger and Justin) were just as pleasant as they could be. No pressure at all! I am renting a 2 bedroom fully furnished apartment, and it is very nice. There's a fully furnished kitchen with a full size refrigerator. It's homey and pleasant... A huge plus when you can't be in your own place, and it is SO much nicer than a hotel room. Price is really reasonable.... better than the costs for hotels, especially when you factor in the savings of not having to eat out 2-3 times a day! read more

I lived at the VIP Apartments on Church for 3.5 years!! They were always responsive and helpful. Never minded even when I locked myself out! These apartments are right near a large, beautiful park with grass, a fountain and trees. There are several interesting monuments for the branches of the military. The apartments are just across from a rec center and the police station so I always felt safe. It has a lot of space to walk a dog, was well lit and I loved my time there. I had a 2 - bedroom which includes a washer and dryer. It's all inclusive so no utility bills. There were a few little issues with something broken (they would always fix immediately) or noisy neighbors like any apartment but I was very happy there! They are not brand new but are fully furnished and have grass and lovely flowers (!) and overall very well kept up. I was way more interested in a pleasant, safe place to come and go (often in the dark) then in having granite counters! Sad to leave but my contract ended in Ridgecrest. Roger is a lovely man and so very kind and helpful!! Office was always efficient and timely. Internet was not superb but I used a wifi hot spot if I really needed speed. THX for everything! My review is long overdue. Stayed in a one-bedroom unit for about 2-1/2 weeks. Very comfortable, had everything I needed but didn't bring with me. My unit was close to Stater Bros, which was super nice. Complex was quiet. Didn't use the garage but it was nice addition. Also didn't use the grill, but did spend time sitting out in the backyard on the patio area. I would NOT have been more comfortable in any of the nearby hotels/motels as this really became my "home away from home" and didn't have to deal with extra noise or people traffic from others. At sunset/sunrise the jack rabbits come out to enjoy neighborhood yards, which was a cool sight to see. Walked to a few nearby places for services. Was really nice to have a full sized refrigerator, stove, and washer/dryer. Giant TV's with 90+ channels (too many choices for me!) in both the living room and bedroom - nice for couples who want to watch different shows. Management was hospitable, all my questions were answered professionally, and they were able to accommodate me with a last minute schedule with an uncertain end date. Highly recommend staying with them; you won't get better treatment anywhere else without paying an obscene amount of money for it. Thank you SO much for a wonderful stay! read more

This is by far the best deal in town for either short or long stays. Comparable to lower in price to a single occupancy mid-range hotel, but no room taxes! You can have an entire fully equipped apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a living/working area, internet, pool and other amenities (laundry!) for less (did I mention no room tax?) than you would pay for a single room with 2 beds in a hotel. The apartments are always spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable with nice linens and great pillows. Service is fantastic, they are wonderfully responsive and accommodating to your needs. (Late arrival, early arrival, late departure, service, linen requests, etc) I wish VIP Housing was in other places I travel!!! read more

We asked about a daily rate and found it to be only $1 more than the Navy Lodge, and forget about the hotels. We also had heard from someone else that it was okay (something about a gross grandma blanket?) so we went ahead and booked a 1 week stay to visit family. Man, the place was nice. It was a Rick Court 1 bedroom apt with access to a clean pool and a big laundry room. Our bathroom was huge, and probably could have been handicap-accessible with a couple modifications. The queen bed had a very nice quilt and pillow set (with a possible grandma blanket on a shelf in the walk-in closet). The kitchen even had a blender and crockpot. The whole feel of the place is more of a home than a hotel, and made for a very pleasant stay. read more
