My review is from the perspective as a property owner, and I can say they are a 5-star management company. We entrusted Divine as the manager when we rented a family member's house out for a few years after their passing. Their tight screening process gave an excellent tenant. Kandi and Kat do everything by the book and follow every law exactly, which is extremely important when renting in California. If you're a property owner, you won't go wrong here. Look at all the one-star reviews from unhappy tenants and actually read what they are complaining about and that tells you all you need to know. Your investment is protected with Divine.

They don't understand that you can't evict someone who gives a thirty day notice. I paid March's rent. You guys don't even see how bad you look arguing with people who give you a bad review. I had no hot water, heat, oven, electrical sparks, half the outlets don't wok. Finally TODAY a guy came out to replace rotten pipe . They have done no walk through. Jami is incredibly unprofessional and rude. She is often catty and makes remarks like "if you don't like it you're on a month to month lease, you can move out whenever". She's a small town mean girl who never grew up. She's holds personal bias in a profession that she shouldn't. It is her responsibility to care for the tenants concerns with respect and remorse which she has none. She has treated me with no kindness or respect. I think it's so disgusting in a small town where she would risk the integrity of her company by behaving in such a manner. I absolutely will never recommend Amador Property Management to anyone looking for a home in this county.

The individual unit's Ac/heating units are dying, as are all of the original building infrastructure. Buckingham Management Company is unresponsive and won't answer their phones. The parking lot needs repair/replacing. The ADA parking spaces are not to ADA standards. One or more of the parking lot lights are not working and have not for years. The interior source cables for the internet/TV are defective and have been for years. The roof leaks as well as one or more tenant windows. The roof & roof rafters have dry rot due to blocked rain gutters. When the building was painted about 10+ years ago the paint was done over existing dry rot, without repairing the dry rot. The hallway carpeting is the original and is heavily stained/dirty. I could go on. If I could I would rate the building a 3 out of 5 and property management a minus -1, they are horrible. This is a non-smoking building, yet some smoke in their units, but have not been penalized or evicted. This is a HUD rent subsidized qualified building.
