It's been a few years since I have had dealings with Divine but I wanted to offer my review since this was brought up in my suggestions list. My review is from the perspective as a property owner, and I can say they are a 5-star management company. We entrusted Divine as the manager when we rented a family member's house out for a few years after their passing. Their tight screening process gave an excellent tenant. Kandi and Kat do everything by the book and follow every law exactly, which is extremely important when renting in California. If you're a property owner, you won't go wrong here. Look at all the one-star reviews from unhappy tenants and actually read what they are complaining about and that tells you all you need to know. Your investment is protected with Divine. read more

I would love to post the truth but it is taken down. Please call me on my cell and I will give an honest review. This business will post incorrect info, as well as personal info if you give an honest review. Read their responses to low reviews. It's unethical (209)268-8799. I wish you the best if you are in a contract with Divine Properties. I challenge you right now to post my lease. I've never met these people. It's crazy how they treat people Again, look at the 5 star review dates. If you are a disabled veteran or have family with autism please don't give Devine your business. They are unbelievably unprofessional. The person that responds to these does nothing but lie and threaten. They try to scare renters. They don't understand that you can't evict someone who gives a thirty day notice. I paid March's rent. You guys don't even see how bad you look arguing with people who give you a bad review. Kandi will single handedly ruin Devine. You won't scare me off. A judge will see my evidence and I will come back here. POST MY LEASE AND PROVE ME WRONG!!!! Stop lying. If you've made it this far...they refuse to keep appointments. They took over because the owner is flat broke and can't afford one repair. I had no hot water, heat, oven, electrical sparks, half the outlets don't wok. Finally TODAY a guy came out to replace rotten pipe . They have done no walk through. Gee do you think they will steal my deposit? Find any other property management. PS I never paid my rent late. I hand delivered it to her on time. She had no problem with me. Another lie. Kandi never takes responsibility for anything. It's always someone else's fault. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE read more

This is a scam. There was no communication between my landlord and I about this takeover. I want to know where Alexis is!?! I haven't heard from Alexis in over a month! How do I know she hired you? read more

**5/31 UPDATE: after being told I had to move in no later than 5/15 (giving me only 2 weeks to move & not allowing me to give my current landlord a 30-day notice) the property is still "available" for rent. Guess those other "qualified applicants" fell through.** read more

So very grateful for Devine properties. Our Realtors, Kat & Justin helped streamline the process, make the budget work, & keep me informed every step of the way. Thank you Devine for being amazing to work with! read more

Kandi and her team always been professional and great to deal with. I have been a renter for over seven years with them. I couldn't ask for a better management company. read more

I loved Divine Properties!! From the very 1st time I met Jamie and Kandi I felt that they would put us in a house we would enjoy. They were always welcoming and friendly. I never made appointments and that was never an issue, they always found time for us. They found us a lovely rental and we enjoyed it for 2 1/2 years. Inspections were always quick and easy and love being able to pay online. When things needed repair they worked with our schedules to get the job done. I would definitely use Divine properties again. Thanks again for all you did, Pam T. read more

Kandi is an evil woman. She doesn't practice what she preaches and has no compassion or regard for human beings. Our realtor has worked with her before and has said she's a hateful person. They don't respond to maintenance calls and wanted to argue about air unit not failing and deck dettaching from the house when we lived there ourselves. Even tried to evict us from a house being sold with little notice. When anyone online says anything negatively about their mistreatment, she tries to dox them. read more

Great company and great at communication even when they have a lot going on! Recently rented from them and everything has been very pleasurable and easy going. Again.... LOVE the communication. Their property management team is on it! read more

They had wrong price on rental property. I tried to find out the exact price sent emails. Until I went to a friend in real estate and confirmed it was a scam read more

If there were a zero, I'd give it! Won't deal with them ever again. Excessively petty and irritating; inappropriate.

Not Divine. Do not trust them. They do not care about there clients. Get everything in writing like repairs they promise etc. Unless you like to be lied to,ignored after paying them a lot of money. Day 18 I have NO stove mice infested, washer/dryer in ad is not here only an old dryer, pics of home and lawn not the same, access point since garage window was broken and removed right before move in, front door was locked first 5 days ( no worries previous tenant only one with key) , place was grimy and sat empty for months apparently. Horrible experience go anywhere else ( which is difficult since one of few property management companies and why they remain in business. Nothing else. Zero customer service, compassion or care. read more

We love Divine Properties! They are always quick to respond to any maintenance needed, they are so helpful! Julio and I needed a place with our children and we found Divine back in Nov. we are so happy with them and can't thank them enough for all they do! read more

In my opinion as a former Property Manager who found myself renting from them. The Landscaping crew had total disregard for damaging vehicles from rocks that were whacked. Causing damage to our vehicles. Even minor repairs took days or even weeks to get a subcontractor to come fix. This included a hot water heater. Ever tried giving a small child a cold bath? When we did move they tried deducting for cleaning to the common area, and a light that was out. Normal wear and tear is not chargeable to a tenant, nor is "professional carpet cleaners". Yet they managed to include both in their move out inspection. They know full well it is in violation of the Law. I had to file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. I felt it was just sneaky and I felt a way of collecting more revenue for rental losses on the vacancies. Renter beware! read more

I've been working with Divine property's for about a year. They manage a property I have. They go above and beyond when it come to costumer service. Excellent with dealing with bad tenants and get my house re-rented in less the a month. Very pleased with there services. read more

I've been working with the ladies at Divine Properties for a few years now. I'm always impressed by how they treat their clients with honesty and integrity. This company (Kandi, Kat, Jamie and Sarah) truly cares about the clients they work with professionally and personally. Their top priority is client satisfaction at all costs. I have used them for property management, to sell a home & to buy a new one. They were great & I now have a great home for my son & I. Jamie was my agent & she is the sweetest. read more

I only sit here and write this because of the absolutely overwhelming amount of support I received from this company. The willingness to walk me through step by step put every concern I had to rest. That paired with the way that they helped me throughout the rough process of renting a home is like no other rental experience I've had before. I don't have enough kind words for this staff. What an excellent representation of this beautiful county I now call home. read more

Horrible experience. Applied for a rental and cannot get an answer if approved or denied. Called the office and cannot get a call back. Do not apply at Divine Property Management. You will need to file a complaint with Fair and Equal Housing to get answers. read more

Don't use them! They seem nice at first but it all goes south in a few weeks. They are thieves! I payed $2395 for deposit and I only got $650 back, they held $775 for cleaning a house that was already completely cleaned and spotless and I had videos to prove it plus the carpet was professionally cleaned. The reason was they had to replace some lightbulbs and her AC filter which the AC filter guess it needed to be replaced it had been a few months but the lightbulbs were not out at all something that cost maybe $10 combined they retained $445 to fix those two issues. I have been a tenant for about 6 months and I could not be any happier. These people are angels! I had such an easy time with the property viewing, application process, move in and repairs. Divine properties has been a blessing as I have been sick and they have gone so far as to check on me. I could not possibly bestow a better review on such a praise worthy company. read more

They could be a little nicer, they were not helpful in the slightest! I feel they have an attitude... honestly a bit upset and hope they can upgrade the hospitality. Also they are terrible at timing I waited so long just for an appointment to see a viewing. Just terrible business. read more

My family has had a wonderful experience with Divine Properties Often times you hear about property management horror stories and to be honest we were hesitant to go back to renting after recently selling our home, but everyone in the office is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel at home. They respond to requests in a timely manner and go out of their way to help ensure your needs are met. We are confident in our decision to lease through their office and happily recommend them whether you are looking to purchase or lease a home. read more

I was very interested in a home with divine properties. Everything seemed to go well, the nice man that showed us the home told us we had a chance if we had good debt to income ratio, which we do. After being told the process will take 3-5 days, we waited over 9 days to hear anything back and after they explained how we needed to make some changes for us to be considered, they finally forwarded over our application about 11 days after turning it in. After waiting 15 days total while possibly being displaced, we were unfortunately denied. There was a price drop in the home, and they did not run our income with the new price.. (either way it was something we can definitely afford) They made assumptions that we have car payments as well. When asked why the process took so long, they claimed it was due to trying to call our references, however our references recieved calls within 48 hours of turning in our application. Unprofessional to lie, This was definitely them lacking in urgency for their clients. They really don't care. They don't return calls or emails, in order to talk to someone you have to call multiple times. Given my situation, I couldn't have dedicated my time to a worse company. Our income is good, we had great references. Solid job, even a guarantor, this was so bad, that I wonder if they even did anything with my application. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

Just recently switched over to this property management when we moved and I gotta say they are the best around!!! :) always there for you when you need anything and super easy to talk to unlike some property management company's up here that act like you mean nothing, these ladies are super sweet! read more

This company is laughable. What a joke the rental application process is. Save your money and find a different agency. I still have not received an Adverse Action Notice or a copy of our Credit Reports that were requested. (I applied 11/13/18) I feel completely discriminated against. But, they made sure I gave them money first. SMH and I feel since I took to Social Media, my app probably was thrown in the garbage.. The property literally just rented last week. When you pay fees and turn in apps with this company, Its just money in their pocket and out of yours. And Kandi, do not ask me to remove this YELP post. I should post the emails. GEEZZZ read more

Have had a really good experience so far! started renting about a month ago. The process was easy and the staff is very helpful, particularly Kat. She always is quick to answer questions. In all my years of dealing with people and with real estate companies, I feel I found the one real estate company that has absolute 100% class, 100% true grit effort, 100% knowledge of the real estate market, 100% honesty tell it like it is class, along with personal service love and kindness. In a nutshell, I had been out of state for a little over a year on family emergency issues. I spoke to Kat originally and a couple of months later, I met her and her lovely staff partners, Kandi, Jaime, Patty, and Sarah. Right away when I met them, they were like family to me. I was looking for a house to rent and they explained that while I was away, that things had changed. Boy had they. There were at least 5-10 people at every showing. Each time, Kat would tell me, Don't worry we will find something just right for you. I would get discouraged and she would hug me and tell me not to worry. I would pop into the office without an appointment and everyone would greet me and ask how I was doing. It seemed like forever, but one day Kat showed me this glorious house and she could tell I loved it because I was smiling ear to ear. I'm now in that rental house and Divine properties and their staff really impressed me with their diligence, knowledge, personal and business and home-like attitude. Whatever you are looking for in the property business (sales or rental) this business (Divine Properties) is the place and people to go to. Great honest and hard working professionals. read more

You will not find a more dedicated, friendly and knowledgable group in the Amador County area. It took days just to get a return phone call regarding my property management needs from their established competitor. By that time, I'd already signed up with Divine Properties. Their energy is infectious, they are lifelong residents, really know the area and they are unquestionably honest...just divine in every way! For us, Kat, Kandi and the rest of the staff are the way to go for real estate in the Jackson, Sutter Creek and extended areas. read more

We have been renting from Divine Properties for the past year, and they have been extremely efficient when it comes to any maintenance issues...and recently we had some wet floors due to the rains...and they were very prompt in attending to the repairs...all the carpets were dried, padding and baseboards were replaced, and cleaning of carpet was done well. read more
