We couldn't have asked for a better agent to help us buy our first and forever home! Mark is so knowledgeable and made our buying experience seem easy. He also can give a referral for anything you need. We've already used a handyman, plumber, gardener and painter that was recommended by him. He goes way above and beyond what is expected from a realtor. I recommend him every chance I get! read more

I would recommend Mark in a heartbeat to anyone. I could have sworn I wrote a glowing review when Mark helped us buy our house in El Dorado Hills. But apparently I never did and I feel bad about that since the experience was so outstanding. Incredibly patient and knowledgeable and we toured a lot of houses to find the right home. He applied the right amount of caution and advice for homes that needed it while giving us the flexibility to make up our minds. He is very well connected with other agents and service providers and whatever we needed just seemed like it happened like magic through him. In short, exactly what you want from a realtor. Well flash forward 4+ years and we are selling this house and would never have even considered calling someone else. We have a lot of balls in the air at the moment and we're a little stressed about getting things ready, but as soon as he was involved it was like a weight lifted. If you need a realtor, and if you are reading this you probably do, stop looking and call him. Absolutely fantastic. read more

Mark is exactly what you're looking for in a realtor. He has incredible insight into the surrounding markets, including the subtleties that often go overlooked. His communication is phenomenal - always available and quick to respond. Navigating the real estate process is stressful, but having Mark on our team made us feel much more at ease with the whole ordeal. We look forward to working with him again! read more

I used Mark to sell my El Dorado Hills home this last summer. He was very prompt and helpful. The sale went smoothly and I always knew everything that was going on. Mark was super helpful with getting work done to prep for sale, even when I stalled on putting it up for sale for 9 months. He is definitely in it for the long haul. I highly recommend Mark. read more

My wife and I have worked with real estate agents both as buyers and sellers. We have very specific requirements and expectations which does not make us the easiest of clients. When deciding on a realtor you can do your due diligence and research credentials, experience, knowledge and success. However, what you can't evaluate until later in the relationship is character. Mark Sanders is an extremely patient, knowledgeable, experienced and successful professional. You won't find a more accomplished real estate agent. But it is his character that sets him apart. Candor, honestly and integrity is what my wife and I observed and experienced. He is very responsive, actually proactive, and you won't be left waiting for a call or information. He will be candid with his assessments and advice, even when it is not to his business advantage. His personal style will leave you confident that he is completely trustworthy and working in your best interests. As a result he makes what can be a stressful transaction much less onerous. Mark pursues his job with a degree of professionalism, experience, character and enthusiasm observed in only the most accomplished of professionals. It is with that same degree of enthusiasm that my wife and I highly recommend Mark. read more

Mark helped my wife and I purchase our first home this year. He made multiple trips with us to see different builders and homesites and was never pushing us into buying any of the homes we saw. When we found a home we loved, Mark was on the ball to obtain necessary information and negotiated the best price we could get. Mark made the home buying process seem easy!! I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a patient real estate agent who will be there for you 100% of the time! read more

We were moving out of the area and purchasing a house in a different state. With so many unknowns, Mark and his team took took care of everything when we were selling my house in Folsom. His knowledge of the local market, market trends, and our home allowed us to get an above asking price offer prior to it hitting the market. Also, Mark was so helpful with scheduling inspections, appointments, etc. around our packed schedule with three young kids. Mark's service did not stop once we were in contract. Until we moved out of the house, Mark was a great resource on our move and made it a clean transition. I have bought houses through Mark and now have sold a house through Mark over the past few years. Mark is attentive, available, and could not recommend him enough. Thank you Mark!!!! read more

My husband and I entrusted our first home purchase experience with Mark. We selected him based on his great Yelp reviews. He was very responsive and made our home buying experience truly outstanding. He educated us on the process, provided excellent market insight and helped secure our dream home. We highly recommend Mark for any real estate needs. read more

In our first meeting with Mark, we were walking out to his car to view some homes and a random person drove up and called out to us that Mark was the best realtor. After a lengthy home search, I would have to agree with that person. We were re-locating from the Bay Area and were looking for a rural home with very specific criteria. For those who have not looked for a rural home, it is not the same as picking a city and looking at homes. There can be long drives to get between homes and it is a very time consuming process. Mark took us to many homes and was very patient with us throughout the process. He never once seemed impatient as we declined one home after another. Even though we were looking at homes that were far from Mark's office, he encouraged us to keep going until we found what we were looking for. When Mark was unavailable due to other appointments, he made sure his co-worker (Wally) was available to assist us. Eventually, we did find a home that met our expectations and we put an offer on the home. Mark was there for us throughout the purchasing process and always promptly answered our questions no matter when we asked them. Mark looked out for our interests and made sure all of the paperwork was completed properly. In the end, we got the "dream home" we were looking for and we are happily getting settled in. We enjoyed working with Mark and would definitely recommend him if you find yourself in need of a realtor. read more

We recently bought our first home with Mark, and have only the best things to say about our experience working with him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, gives very helpful and honest answers, and 100% prioritizes his client's interests. He is also very responsive and a great communicator - we always had replies to texts or emails within minutes. We were moving from about two hours away, which made it difficult to be in El Dorado Hills on short notice. Whenever a home came on the market that we were interested in, Mark went and checked out the property and gave us his honest opinions so we could decide whether to drive up to see it in person or not. This saved us so much time and made our home buying process so much easier. We couldn't recommend Mark highly enough! read more

Mark was great from day 1 selling our house. He put his team to work. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Not many realtors would be out there with a chain saw clearing a down tree that fell on the driveway after a huge storm to make sure the house sold. We had several issues come up during escrow and, again, he went above and beyond what I feel a realtor would do to find solutions to the problem. Thanks Mark! You'll be the only phone call next time I need realtor services. read more

5+ star rating! My wife and I were a bit of a difficult case, but Mark was always a professional and relenteless in helping us get our dream home. We didn't have a deadline to sell our home, so we took our time waiting for just the right house to come along. For a year and a half Mark would email us suggestions and take us to potential houses. Finally, we found THE ONE, and Mark totally helped us get the house for less than what we thought we could. On top of that, Mark worked his magic to sell our old home during the first week of the COVID shutdown when the whole world was going haywire. Here's what makes Mark the best: 1) He's incredibly knowledgable about the current market trends. 2) He knows how to stage a home for top dollar sale. 3) He reads his client's contract paperwork multiple times to make sure no detail is missed. 4) Every detail is taken care of. read more

I found Mark on Yelp back in February. I was looking to move long distance and visited Folsom several times over the past 6 months to look at houses. Mark was very helpful, gave me his opinions on the homes and neighborhoods I was interested in, both the good and the bad which I really appreciated. When we finally made the offer Mark walked us through everything and even offered to mow our new lawn while we packed up our old house. Seriously I have never encountered the helpful, attentive and honest service that Mark provided. If and when we decide to sell/buy again there's no question who I will be going to. read more

Mark is one of the best agents out there!!! He takes personal interest in all of his clients and is not in a rush to make a sale. Mark is a fantastic Realtor, an incredibly hard worker, and genuinely nice guy. I was fortunate to have met Mark in 2013 when I was looking at homes in the EDH and Folsom area. I immediately knew that when the time was right for a move, he was the person that I would trust with the listing of my home. That happened in 2019 and Mark helped me immensely on both the sale and purchase side of the home buying process. It can be a stressful time, but this is where Mark excels because 1) he knows the market very well, 2) he is an excellent communicator, 3) he listens and offers supportive guidance, 4) he has great experience and a fantastic track record, and 5) he is honest and trustworthy. Awesome Realtor! I really appreciate Mark's help with my sale and purchase. I highly recommend that you contact Mark for your real estate needs too. You will be glad you did! read more

Mark is one of the best Real Estate Agents in the Sacramento Area. He truly knows how to take care of his clients. There are a couple of things that everyone needs in a Real Estate Agent: 1. Someone who is reliable 2. Timely 3. Makes you feel like you are their first priority (even though they have other clients) 4. Strive to make sure you are happy 5. Can be honest in their dealings Mark hit all of those categories for me. Him and I have developed a great friendship from our dealings with the home my wife and I purchased. We recently closed on our first house, and Mark made us feel that we were in good hands the entire way through. He was punctual, extremely prompt with call-backs and when returning texts, very knowledgeable of the neighborhood where we were looking to buy (Serrano, El Dorado Hills), thoroughly explained each step of the process along the way, so pleasant to work with, and reliable on all levels. I just can't say enough good things about Mark, and the way he conducts business! Hands down, the best customer service experience I've ever had. He will definitely be the first person we call for any future real estate dealings. read more

Mark Sanders was recommended to us and right from our first phone conversation I knew he would be very helpful in selling our first house. He was always polite and answered all my questions and returned calls, emails and texts promptly. He was never pushy or aggressive or desperate like some realtors I had interviewed and I felt like he really cared about our situation and what would be best for us. I appreciated his advice and quick responses and professionalism. We never felt pressured to take his advice and never felt uncomfortable talking to him. Ultimately we sold our home to OpenDoor but we greatly value his true honest opinions, especially telling us to take the deal after running numbers on home sales in our area. He really does give his opinion and advice based on you, the client, and your situation and we are very grateful for that. read more

Mark is an outstanding and trustworthy real estate agent that I would recommend to anyone! Here's our story - We were relocating from Pennsylvania to El Dorado Hills. I found Mark online based on his excellent reviews. I am so happy that I called him because I feel that we were so well taken care of from start to finish. I needed to sell my home in PA and fly out to Cali to look at homes. Mark made the process so incredibly easy because of his amazing communication and quick negotiating skills! He has a wonderful energy about him and is very caring to the client. His professionalism is above and beyond anything I've seen in other agents I've been engaged with in the past. He was always available to provide really good and needed information about the area, schools, activities, etc,, which was so helpful since the area was so new to us. Thank you so much Mark! read more

Mark was referred to us by multiple friends and has been an outstanding realtor. Mark has been tactful, encouraging, available, and a wealth of knowledge in helping us locate our home during an otherwise aggressive (and discouraging) market. Mark made himself available at any time during the day (or night) to answer questions, and arrange viewings in this competitive market. He even squeezed in showings for us on the Fourth of July. Mark uses an impressive network of social contacts in combination with an excellent work ethic to be in the know about listings and advocate for his client-when most realtors fall on whatever information they can get with the least amount of effort. We have dealt with realtors in the past, and I promise you will not find a more honest, hard working human being in all your life than Mark Sanders. read more

We recently purchased a house in EDH and Mark was our realtor. We couldn't have asked for him to do anything better. He answered our questions quickly, yet thoroughly and was constantly available throughout the process. He gave detailed, honest, and helpful advice and always made us feel he had our best interests in mind - something not all realtors often do. We highly recommend Mark, and in fact, have already done so to family and friends. read more

Moving from the Bay Area to El Dorado Hills on a job change. Didn't know any agents locally. Wanted to look at both properties for lease and for sale. Performed a Yelp search for an agent and saw Mark's positive ratings and reviews. Could NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED. Mark was super helpful and patient. He asked the right questions and worked with us to narrow the field of properties in our price range and that met our various and, not insignificant, desires. But, the thing that sets Mark apart from all other agents with whom I've dealt...RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIVE...Calls, texts and emails were returned right away and we were kept apprised of the progress and requirements every step of the way. We didn't have to guess and we didn't have to track him down. A+++ rating. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for helping us acquire our beautiful new home, Mark. read more

We were looking to buy a home in the Folsom/El Dorado Hills/Cameron Park area, but since we never lived there, we had no real estate contacts. We went on Yelp and found Mark, who had great reviews and was rated very highly. We figured we might as well give him a shot and we are SO glad that we did! Mark listened to our needs and delivered. We were interested in a foreclosure that was extremely competitively priced (which means there was a ton of interest) and with his guidance, we were able to put in the winning bid without overpaying. If you've ever bought a bank owned home, you know that the ridiculous amounts of papers to sign and hoops to jump through can be overbearing, but Mark kept us on track the entire way. We had a 26-day escrow(!) so there was no time to waste. Mark directed us to a lender that he knew could get the job done in time, he recommended and coordinated the home inspection within a week of our offer acceptance and took head on, all of the unexpected issues and bumps in the road that we encountered in the process. My wife and I had a TON of questions throughout the process and Mark was always available to patiently answer every single one of them. We would not have been able to close in time if we had a Realtor who was less dedicated than Mark was. In summary, we are now home owners and it wouldn't have happened without Mark. He made a difficult process feel manageable and kept our needs in mind every step of the way. I cannot recommend Mark enough to anybody looking for a Realtor. read more

We wanted to buy a house recently in El Dorado Hills and Mark was our realtor. This was the 2nd time we've trusted Mark in a real estate transaction and again, he blew our socks off! He walked us through the process taking into account our schedules/timeline and made it happen with as little pain as possible. He is one of the most trustworthy and honorable business people we know! We're now moved in and he's still providing his expertise and knowledge of the area to us. My husband and I had been searching for a home in the foothills off and on for a few years when we started working with Mark. He helped us refine our search by asking us the right questions to really find out what we wanted in a home, and taking us on tours of the areas we were interested in. He was prompt and thorough in his communications with us and made himself available whenever our schedules allowed us to look at homes. I'm happy to report that, thanks to Mark's tireless efforts, our family is HOME! I've already recommended Mark's services to my dad, and plan on referring family and friends to him whenever they have a need for a Realtor. Thank you, Mark! read more

I usually come to Yelp to feel out a service before making an important decision, so this is my way to give back and assist others where we found a great match... Mark is highly recommended as I feel he has a great knowledge of the area and was very supportive in the house hunting process that can be very stressful. We were referred to Mark through a friend and he made home-shopping a fun experience. Moving up from San Francisco, Mark was always accessible to meet with us whenever we found time to drive up to the El Dorado Hills area to preview homes. He was responsive to our questions and patient, prompt, and energetic. He was able to help when we were unsure and knew when to leave us to feel it out on our own when that was necessary. We ran him around from El Dorado to Rancho Cordova, Folsom, and back again and he was always positive. I encourage you to meet with Mark when you are in need of a Real Estate professional, especially if you are a first time buyer like my wife and I were. He offers the tips, support, and calmness that you will need. Thanks Mark! read more

Mark was absolutely remarkable during the process of selling our home. From the time we first met him to formulate plans, and then through closing, he accomplished everything he said he would. He's got a lot of creative ideas to assist in the selling and buying process and he made sure we as the sellers were 100% comfortable with every decision made. He's extremely knowledgeable in his field and was always quick to respond to questions we had giving frequent updates on statuses. Mark is very warm and friendly and was such an asset to us. He has become the "go to guy" for family and friends who are ready to buy or sell and we couldn't be happier with the end result! read more

I don't think my husband and I can say enough good things about Mark. We will always be grateful for how hard he worked, how honest, fast, informative he was, always going above & beyond, making us feel safe, keeping us informed & overall making our move a smooth process. We used Mark after my sister and brother in law & some friends had used him also. Mark listens & cares about what his clients want. He gives honest feedback about homes and seeks out all information he can to help the buyer make the right decision. I truly feel that he is the reason we got our home as it came close to us and another buyer. We felt like we could trust Mark with our needs- we made a move to an area we were unfamiliar with and felt Mark guided us the right direction for our family. If I saw a home online & told him I wanted to see it- we'd get a very quick response with feedback & information about the home. Any time we wanted to see a house- mark made it happen. Mark also communicated with our selling agent from our hometown & constantly kept us informed. We are so grateful for his knowledge, honesty & caring professionalism. We absolutely love our home & new neighborhood- but if we ever had to buy/sell again- Mark is who we would use- no doubt! We cant recommend him enough- you will not be disappointed! I have dealt with many realtors and Mark Sanders is the best by far!... That's for those who don't care to read long reviews. In detail: We allowed Mark to present himself in a competitive environment involving multiple realtors attempting to get our business. Mark stood out on his initial presentation, recommendations and proposed plan of action so we decided on using him. In our situation, with us suddenly moving, Mark was left dealing with quite a bit to deal with to ensure the listing and subsequent sale went smoothly. These were problems we'd stress out about that Mark wasn't responsible for, but would volunteer to solve. While it isn't fair to expect this of him, he removed items from the home, performed basic maintenance, made sure the Koi pond was healthy and so were the fish, managed contractors, negotiated our sale, monitored deadlines, offered advice and checked in regularly. It was above and beyond anything we've experienced. Mark is a selfless individual that destroys any stereotypes or statistics regarding realtors. Mark Sanders delivered way above and beyond our agreement and we truly owe him. read more

"The best realtor we have ever had!" That's what my wife and I kept saying through the process. House sold in 6 hours, buyers agent was nightmare, but we never even knew. Mark was able to handle all her crazy objections after being one of multiple offers. Very knowledgeable about our market and a great negotiator. Highly recommended. We interviewed multiple realtors after listing for 6 months with no offers, this time on market for 6 hours and offers coming in over asking. If you want your house sold call Mark. Best part of all, I found him on yelp! Thanks Mark! read more

Mark sold my moms home in El Dorado Hills. My mom was in her 90's and we could not of asked for a better realtor. He was so reliable and kind. He really knows the market and got above asking for her home. He is very hardworking and ethical. His name came from a recommendation from our CPA and we were so happy to have called him. We interviewed three realtors and Mark was prepared with detailed comps and my mom instantly knew he was the one to get this job done. It's not easy selling a home you lived in with all your memories and Mark had the best recommendations for getting her home ready for sale, recommendations for experienced and fair contractors that came out promptly and and made repairs, and an office staff that was very detailed and organized. He had everything aligned to make this transition a smooth and successful one for mom. He always put mom's best interest as his first priority and took special care to explain every step of the process to her. She is now enjoying life at a beautiful retirement resort. We will be forever grateful to Mark and will highly recommend him to any one we know. read more

The MOST honest and hardworking professional I know! My wife and I used Mark to sell our home and purchase another. Mark always makes himself available. Mark works tirelessly to get the most for your home or lowest price point on your purchase. When listing our home, he even paid someone to Feng Shui and stage our interior. Everyone he refers for landscaping, pool service, home inspection, handyman etc.. are always reliable, thorough and affordable. I refer Mark to anyone who will listen. It's VERY rare to find a realtor with Mark's character and integrity. Mark truly makes you feel like his most important client. While providing superior service, he somehow finds a way to be a dedicated husband and father! Mark is hands down the best realtor out there, for any situation. read more

I grew up with a mom that is a realtor and my brother in law owns his own brokerage so my husband & I have a lot of experience with the real estate world. Without hesitation Mark Sanders is the best in the business! I can be demanding and buying a home is a huge emotional, financial & life altering event, but Mark was perfect from start to finish. Professional at all times, reliable, trustworthy, responsive, patient, kind, gave us great advice, provided us with confidence that we would find the right home for us, has given us countless referrals to stellar people, made it seem effortless even when he was writing offers for us at midnight while on vacation or sending us virtual tours while we were out of town. He was there for us every step of the way and always made us feel like we were his top priority. In our initial meeting Mark he said he usually gets an accepted offer for his clients in 6-8 weeks. I thought that was impossible after we had spent 7 months looking with another realtor. On our 6th week working with Mark we were in contract, he is just as good as it gets! I even noticed he answered my questions before I even asked, during escrow he kept everything on schedule, at signing and closing he was helpful, he sent us contact info of the yard maintenance/pool service/cleaners/ anything that was already in place for the previous owners. Even after closing he checks in and is always available if we need anything. With how busy everyone's lives are and how realtors especially are called upon at all hours of the day I don't know how Mark does it so well. I will refer him 100% to anyone and everyone! read more

Mark Sanders was recommended to my wife and I by a friend and we are happy to have went with him. If everyone received the same type of service he gave us, he has definitely earned every five star review given to him. Mark was always available for questions or concerns and would meet with us late at night to look at homes and to accommodate for hasty deadlines. I was a little skeptical at first of using Yelp to find a real estate agent, as I used to be self-employed and believe heavily in the word-of-mouth referral system. My wife and I had been looking to relocate to somewhere more affordable and conducive to raising a family had narrowed down our search to the region around El Dorado Hills. We initially were looking for places with acreage and found several homes we wanted to take a look at, including one open house that we planned to attend. After several days and several futile attempts to get ahold of agents that different friends "highly recommended," I began to search online. I found Mark on Yelp at 10pm the night prior to the open house I mentioned, and sent him a brief email explaining that we were from out of the area and were first-time home buyers who knew nothing about the process. Within 20 minutes I received an email reply that was very informative and detailed. Mark was fully booked the next day, but agreed to be our agent and then the next morning called the listing agent of the open house and let her know that we would be coming by. Knowing that we were coming from out of the area and wanting to make the most of our trip, he then got right on figuring out exactly what we were in search of and came up with a list of appointments for us to see the following day. From our very first email and initial meeting with Mark, we were absolutely astounded by how awesome he was and knew that we were in great hands. His communication was second to none and it was obvious how well he knows his profession. Everything he told us was spot on and every time we had a question he got us an answer ASAP. Mark consistently made himself available by call, text and email at all times of day. Whenever we found a place that we were interested in checking out, Mark would immediately get in touch with the selling agents and gather up as much info as he possibly could. This made it easy to write off some places before wasting time checking them out. (We were going to be using a VA-secured loan and therefore would need to abide by certain criteria set forth by that process.) As luck would have it, at the time we began looking for homes the market also picked up and many places that had been on the market for a while then entered contract the day we toured them, or within a day or two thereafter. Very limited new inventory was coming on the market and most of the new inventory was outside of our budget. We began to get discouraged, but Mark kept us optimistic and helped us actively brain-storm other options. He even set up a meeting at his office where he brought in a highly respected home builder who then was able to go over the whole process of buying a parcel of land and building a home from scratch. They covered everything from the county permit process to ways to make it fit our budget. (Keep in mind that agents make their living off of a percentage of the sale value of a home/property, so helping us buy a parcel of land that would fit our budget would only bring in about 1/3rd the commission that a regular house would)- Mark never once tried to discourage this and it was very obvious that client satisfaction was his utmost priority. Once we figured out that buying a parcel of land and building a home was not within the realm of the VA loan and our budget, we began looking at homes in town. We soon found one that we loved and put an offer on it. Again, I knew absolutely nothing about buying a home, but Mark communicated everything along the way and made it one of the easiest things I have ever done. His customer service and ability to coordinate with all of the other professionals affiliated with the process was top notch. Mark brings a level of energy and professionalism to his industry that you just don't get the luxury to encounter too many times in life. And the final kicker- our escrow period was occurring at the same time his wife was getting ready to deliver their first child. I honestly don't know how he pulled all of this off so precisely without letting on how overwhelmed he truly must have been. Mark is as good as it gets and can always count on us to be a referral for any potential clients. read more

We listed our second home ourselves in EDH, and in a few short days, we had multiple offers. Mark brought in a buyer who was not the top $$ offer but we decided to go with his buyer due mainly to Mark. There are many realtors who are out there to make a quick sale and their focus is dollars in their pocket. And home sales can go sideways after the offer is accepted. With Mark, one could tell that he really wanted to find the best home for his client and that he was trustworthy. As we listed ourselves and are not in the real estate profession, Mark helped us out with paperwork and treated us so favorably as if we were one of his clients. We highly recommend Mark if you want someone that is customer focused, honest and trustworthy. read more

Mark is an outstanding Real Estate expert! My husband and I met Mark at an open house in El Dorado Hills and were immediately impressed by his knowledge of the market in the area. We thought Mark was very professional and were impressed with how he presented the house he was selling to potential buyers. We are looking to move to the area, but not for another year or so. We wanted to learn about the area, so we contacted him to find out more information. Mark took the time to figure out what is was we were looking for. He spent time detailing the different communities in El Dorado Hills, driving us around so that we could get a better understanding of the area. He knew our time frame was still some time out, but he wanted us to know that we could depend on him. Mark was always very quick to respond to questions, and it was very clear that he knows real estate very well. read more
