Decided to purchase a 500 gal tank, through my miscommunication Ron brought a 250 tank. Ron didn't blink a eye when I told him I wanted the 500 gal. He immediately installed the 500 gal tank, he was very respectful of the placement it's location, and cleaned up to perfection. Ron is clearly a very hard worker, working into the late evening. He made sure this customer was very satisfied. The Pre-buy was several hundred dollars lower then my previous Gas company. I can not say enough of the great service Stepp Propane provides. The company does a good job being there when you need propane. We only use propane for hot water heater and clothes dryer so we don't use a lot. But it's nice to know they will be there when you need them. There was only one bit of confusion when they thought we needed propane after a phone call but we caught the delivery person before we got too much extra. They over filled the tank and instantly a new leak started coming from a seal. The store unable to help us sent us to Jerry at this Amerigas. Jerry refused to help us arguing with us that it was not the stores fault and that they didnt over fill it from the minute we stepped out of the RV. Wagging his finger in my face refusing to let me even talk to ask questions. He told us he didnt have time to drain our overfilled tank that it would take hours. All he offered was to let us use his tool to tighten the bolts to help slow the leak till we got to a place to drain our propane and fix it. A complete waste of time. We took the RV down to Owens Propane's to have it looked it. They explained how the tank and filling propane works to us. They then confirmed that the tank was definitely overfilled . He told us it would take about an hour to drain it and that it is a simple fix. Thank goodness the seal had a leak causing us to further investigate the situation otherwise we might have had a bigger problem on our hands.
