Quality Fuels has been great service from the first phone call over two years ago. After the prior propane company that was at the house when I purchased it, came while I was not home and disconnected the tank and would not answer a local call, I called Quality fuels and they came out on a Saturday and installed a new tank and filled it so I could have fuel to the house. Then when I bought a new stove / oven recently and had a handyman hook up the propane, he did not do it properly and the next day I could smell the propane leaking, I called Quality Fuels and they sent a couple of techs out and they had the leak fixed in no time! That's funny Trace can't handle a public review when he was the one who attacked me IN PUBLIC, screaming and swearing at me in front of my children, other parents & teachers at a school event. Why do I have to reach out to you to resolve an issue privately when you were the one who attacked me in public? You have NEVER even tried to apologize in any way! You just proved my point that you don't value your loyal customers! The rest of what you said is total BS because that is not what happened at all! If you want to be in the SERVICE industry you can't treat your customers like that because we don't have to be your customers! There are plenty of other businesses that offer the same thing. Prices are good, local to Heber Az. Communication has been a little challenging. My builder had a 250 Gallon tank put in, not quality fuels issue but you may want to have a 500 Gallon tank put in to lessen the refill trips. read more

Living in a small town there are a lot of things to learn. Among them is when you are used to total electric homes, in the cooler climes other fuels have been found more effective, like propane. When I first bought my place, there was a tank in place. There are rules that state that if the tank is rented, you MUST buy propane from the company that owns the tank, no matter what the price. New to me! The previous owner used this place more for a summer getaway, so they didn't use much propane, so they may not have realized who they signed with. I was given a reduced rate for my first tank fill. I didn't realize it was a promotional deal so when I filled the tank a second time and the price jumped over $1.50 gallon, I was trying to figure out how I was going to keep from freezing! I talked to some neighbors and people in local stores after this fill and they told me they used Quality Fuels in Heber for their propane. I told them how much my propane cost, and I was greatly surprised to hear that Quality Propane supplied propane to them at $1.20 a gallon less than I had just paid. I contacted the company that owned the tank on my property and was given a number of different stories. As we all know, there are often more than one view to a story. So I decided to change. I set up an account and put money into it so they knew I was serious. Then I found out I had to use almost all the propane before the company could remove their tank and I could have Quality Fuel bring in theirs. There had to be 5% or less propane in the tank, by local law. So I was using up the high dollar propane and watching the guage. Which seems to be stuck at 4%. So I ran out of propane. I contacted Quality Fuel, and explained my situation. Although they are a little short on staff this week, they told me they would get me set up TODAY. Fantastic! It got to be midafternoon and I was starting to get a little worried. And about 10 minutes later the first truck, carrying the new propane tank, pulled up. Just as they were almost finished setting up the tank, the tanker truck, hauling the propane, showed up. So, I called with an issue, and it was fixed, all within a couple hours. With the temps dropping to freezing and below the next few days, it will be nice to be able to use the furnace. The staff was great, friendly, and personable. They got the tank in place, filled, and made sure my propane fueled appliances had pilot lights lit and everything working as it should! I highly recommend Quality Fuel for their efficiency, work ethic and manners. Oh, and prices....! When you fill the tank with 200 gallons, that $1 a gallon savings makes itself known real fast! read more

This company told me that they had pressure tested my system before they even put in our propane. Unfortunately, being new to propane fules, I believed them, much to our chagrin. Besides overcharging us, which they promised to fix but never did, the tank was never pressure tested. Our tank leaked over 500 dollars in fuel each month until we had a tech from across the street smell the propane and come tell us. When the tech from Quality Fuels was called out to check the system, he decided, looking at it, that it was ok for the tank to leak more overnight. He showed up at 11 am the next day, told us that the system should have never been used because it was not lawfully hooked up and that the regulator was not in the right place. He also told us that he was the one that was filling the tanks, so he was aware of the unlawfulness of the system. When asked why he didn't fix it the night before, he stated that it was leaking less than a gallon an hour, so we were overreacting. When I told him I had six children, so leaking propane is not an overreaction, he screamed that we still owed for the last two drops of propane. If our system wasn't leaking heavily, we wouldn't owe for the past two drops is the truth. BEWARE! This company is about making money, not taking care of people. read more

A small leak was detected in the propane tank during the home inspection, when I purchased the home in Overgaard. Seller subsequently contacted other major name propane dealer in area for the repair, and was charged an absolutely ridiculous price for that service/repair. I took possession of home shortly thereafter, and the un-repaired leak was unmistakable. That dealer when contacted said it must be new, and they would need to charge for new service call/repair to repair this new leak, clearly a repair that they never performed in the first place. Contacted Quality Fuels based upon several recommendations from my new neighbors who were all very satisfied with Quality Fuels. Trace came immediately, inspected tank, noted the problem, which was serious enough that it could not be fixed on site, (A leak that had been never addressed in the original overpriced repair). He removed tank back to his shop (120LB tank), performed a complete repair to all problem areas, and returned the tank filled, for less then half of what had been charged to the former owner for that repair from the previous propane dealer from the area. Trace was responsive, pleasant to contact, priced extremely fairly and professional. You rarely if ever get service like this anymore. By the way, the other dealer additionally wanted to have you sign a yearly contract, charge for a pre-inspection, and required set delivery schedules, trip fees, even if you didn't need the delivery. None of that was requested by Quality Fuels. Best service around, In my opinion you won't go wrong with Quality Fuels. read more
