Sierra Le Bone is awesome! Even my dog think so. We go in for a visit and the owner always spoils my little girl. We get to visit with the Dobies that the owner raises. Everybody is very knowledgeable and know how to direct you to what you're looking for or even give you recommendations as to why you might want to avoid that. It's a pretty awesome place. read more

I like to shop local unless I have to shop big box national chains and this is one of my favorite haunts. Up front, special orders are no problem however, this place has an excellent selection of dog food, wet & dry. All sizes are usually available with competitive pricing. A huge selection of treats and suppliments are tucked in all areas of the shop and leashes, coats, collars, beds and toys fill shelves and rounders. First time visiting. Sierra La Bone is a lovely place for animal lovers. This small gem in Carson City carries top brand dog food, treats, snacks, leashes, collars , coats etc. The staff are helpful, very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. One staff member helped me find a dog food with similar ingredients as the food I am presently feeding. Very satisfied with my purchases. My second visit I got my dogs groomed with Hailey. She was polite, pleasant and very accommodating. Hailey did a beautiful job on my chihuahuas and they were calm and happy when they left. Hailey is in her calling. read more

I used to love the self dog wash but everytime I go now I get rushed because there is a line of people waiting. The first time I chalked it up to it being a weekend so I came in on a weekday and same thing happened. If you have a short haired dog that is fast to wash and dry it's not bad but if your dog has a medium to long coat and you don't want to feel rushed then I would recommend going to another of the self washes around Carson. Sadly they just don't have the facilities to accommodate that kind of customer. read more

I was sent here by Petsmart, while in Carson city on errands. I was in search of these special rubber toed socks for my elderly dog. Sure enough they had them. These socks are like gold for your old dog that struggles on slick floors. I got a set several month back in hopes that my dog would wear them and like them. Not only does he not mind wearing them, he waits for me to put them on before entering the house. Sierra le Bone carries these and they totally rock! I bought 2 more sets. Upon return from vacation, we picked up our dogs from boarding. They apparently had a great time as they were stinky and exhausted. So, a trip to the self-wash was in order. The 13 year old Shiba put up a good fight with my husband, but the Aussie puppy did better. Until the dryer, that is. With help from a lovely employee, we got him dry-ish and ready to go. The baths are so convenient as they provide shampoo, conditioner, towels and the tools to get your dog clean. And bonus- you don't have to clean your bathroom afterwards. We have been using the self dog wash for about 3 years now; & I have nothing but rave reviews from the clean washing stations, equipment upkeep, & the personal service saying a friendly hi and anticipating anything you may need. I love the hydraulic grooming tables which go very low for easy jump up & then high so you won't strain your back. I also love the wash "wands" which cover a large area of the dog all with one swipe. The shampoos & cream rinse are high quality leaving my Samoyed very white & silky. For $18 vs $80 for grooming, we can't go wrong; oh, & did I say we leave the mess there though I always try to get the worst of it in the trash. Thanks Sierra Le Bone!!! Sierra Le Bone is an awesome self dog wash and they have a great selection of good natural food for my pets so for that they are great....but customer service is not very good at all. I am never greeted as I walk in, instead there is a young girl behind the counter that just glares at me as I walk in. It is a pretty uncomfortable feeling. Even when I go up to the counter to make my purchase she is not personable and could be borderline rude. Love the self dog wash, love the products they offer, but customer service is lacking. read more

Poor customer service. The owners have always been nice, but the young women, usually at the store now, are not friendly. I am never greeted, never asked if I need help, not friendly at check out, and don't say thank you. They seem to be more interested in their cell phones or talking to one another. Well, my son and I were in the store and the owner reffered back to that sign at least five times!
