I have been taking my dog here for over 3 years every 6 weeks or so. When I walk in the door it's like I have never there before. No, "Hi Bill How's Tuvok today?" This morning no hello just "William Nelson?" "What are we doing today" The service provided for my dog is always first rate. No complaints. He always looks great. My one concern (maybe a complaint) is the price increase. The cost has gone from $65 to $75 to $85 and now to $95 for a medium groom. I asked what happened and was told "We just raised our prices for poodles" yes, my dog is a poodle but does not get a "POODLE" cut. He gets a close shave over his entire body. She said they had a large cage for them and to bring Felix and Jazzy over. This is a family business and they were so Helpful and kind. They refused to accept payment since we were evacuated. I insisted and left money. We were able to pick up our cats in three days and I made an appointment for our dog to get a bath after he had his leg bandage removed. He's a white American Eskimo and they were very careful about his injury and apologized for not being able to finish his brushing. They did a great job and were so sweet and compassionate. We have been coming here since we moved back to the area in 2015 and we could not be happier! We have 3 pugs and Destiny takes excellent care of them. All of the people who are here are incredibly friendly and know all of our pugs! When we call I just tell them I've got the 3 pugs and they always know who I am. One of our pugs is a little skittish and destiny is always wonderful with him and doesn't rush him. All 3 of them love her and are happy to see her when they come in. She always takes the time to get their nails nice and short and they always come out nice and soft. The ladies at Crazy Cat Dog Grooming did a great job on my long-haired cat, Princess. I have been struggling to brush her as much as I used to, and as she's gotten older and a little chubbier, she has gotten less adept at cleaning herself (especially her rear end, unfortunately). So, she had some matting and sadly I started noticing an odor coming from her backside. They gave her a bath, a sanitary cut, got all the matting out, and trimmed her nails. When I picked her up she was as fresh as a baby kitten. Like most cats, she is not fond of baths, and she is particularly fussy about having her nails trimmed and certain areas brushed out, but she came home looking better than she has from any other groomer. I was especially impressed that they were able to trim all her nails- past groomers have always missed at least one or two (if not more) because she squirmed too much, the groomers here must really know what they're doing! I also want to add, I drove all the way from South Lake Tahoe to come here because the prices were so much better than any of the local groomers I called. Like, less than half as much. It isn't convenient but knowing they will do such a great job and for such a reasonable price makes it totally worth it. read more

I have never used a groomer for any of my many pets over the years but this one was a must. I just picked up my big black cat, Wally, that had a huge mat of fur on his back that needed to be shaved off. I was going to take him to my vet & have him knocked out so they could shave him, but I figured that was a bit drastic, but, this cat is way too much for me to handle & something had to be done. (Wally would not ever let me brush him let alone cut anything off him) I called Crazy Cat Dog Grooming, even though they are a ways from my house, they are the only groomer around that does cats. I figure if they know what they are doing, they should be able to pull this off, no problem. They did an excellent job!!! They washed & dried him, shaved the 'dead rat' off his back, cleaned his ears, and clipped his nails. PERFECT. For $60. And, when Shauna brought him out to me, she still had both hands & all her fingers!! I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with the level of customer service. I am new to the area and brought my dog to be groomed here. I showed pictures and was very specific on what I would like with the groomer. I was asked to give them 3-4 hours before picking him up. I ran errands for the day then stopped by at the 4.5 hour mark as I had not heard from them. My dog was not ready which I had no issue with, however it appeared as if my dog had not yet been groomed because a different "groomer" came out to confirm again how I wanted him cut. I gave the same instructions again, showed pictures and left for another hour. I received no phone call to let me know he was ready, so I showed up before closing time to get my dog. They had me pay and tip before seeing him... now I know why. He was shaved unevenly from head to toe (nothing like the picture or instructions I had given them). With his double coat we will be lucky if he ever grows his hair back the way it was before. Every leg has uneven shaving, his hind legs are not even, his ears are butchered with uneven hair. It is awful. I wanted to cry upon putting him in the car. Moral of the story is that you should always do your diligence before taking your dog to a new groomer. I scheduled an appointment with this establishment for my cat. This was a first time for my cat and myself. I was midway to my appointment and it was cancelled 30 minutes before appointment. I was told it was due to an emergency. I completely understood and then I was scheduled next day. Unfortunately, I had to have my boyfriend go on my behalf as I could not take off extra time at work. He made sure to be there before the appointment to speak with the groomer. She was dismissive and did not answer his questions. He said that maybe she was having a stressful day as there were 4 cats behind him and he left. He came back to pick my cat up and the person who was cashing him out went looking and he could hear her yell "it's the Fxxxing tuxedo cat". My cat is very gentle natured and he was shaking when he was picked up. I will be attaching the end result of my cat and you can decide if you want to take your cat here. There was no communication from the groomer. I dont know how he behaved during the entire event to see if I need to work on my cats behavior. I will not put the groomers name on this review. After talking with them & having been asked exactly what I wanted done (Shawna!), I expected that to be Done! Usually he gets cut short All the way from neck to the tip of his tail where they usually leave a couple inch tuff on the end (So cute). Anyway, I was in a hurry & didn't want to pull him out of carrier before driving home. His head looked good. Sadly, when letting him out at home, I see that they only did part of his legs, none of his tail AND everything done is uneven. He looks like he was in a fight with hedge clippers!
