Terrible just plain terrible customer service and work ethics! Does not even deserve a one star. I had my glass door repaired for $420 and within one month it was no longer closing completely. I have a sensor on my door so you can just imagine my alarm saying "front door open" all day. I called Robert on a Tuesday and was told he'll be out on Wednesday. No show/no call, no explanation, and no apology. Gave him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps he forgot or got too busy. I call back on Thursday and was told he'll be out Friday. Again, no show/no call, no explanation, and no apology. I call back Sunday night and Robert told me he had to go out of town and promised to come out on Monday. Again, no show/no call and no apology. I call back on Tuesday and was told it got late granted I'm super flexible and tell him each and every time he can come out anytime after 12 PM and I don't close until 9 PM. I told him if he does not plan on coming out I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Again, I am promised he'll be out on Wednesday FOR SURE. Well guess what? Again, a no show/no call. I called Sierra Glass and spoke to Robert on Monday (10/21). He scheduled me for 1pm the following day, so I scheduled my lunch around the appointment. 1pm came and went, and Robert never showed. I called him that afternoon and he apologized for forgetting about me, as he had not written down the appointment. He assured me that he would give me a discount on labor if I agreed to use his service. I agreed and made arrangements to leave my window outside as I had already taken it off the frame. Robert said that he would either come that same day or the following and call me with an estimate. I called Robert on Wednesday around 1pm, and he said that he had an appointment that he was working on and would still be coming by, however I never heard from him. I called and left a voicemail at 6pm. Robert never called me back to offer an explanation or apology. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!! I will gladly take my business elsewhere!! read more

Very poor response time and poor communication skills. Service request was made on Friday, I was told glass had to be ordered on Monday, installation would take place on Wednesday, and no call that day. In the last week we have made AND THEY HAVE NO SHOWED for 3 appointments. They won't give a time so each day we had someone wait at the house for them. Complete waste of time, all they were supposed to do was repair our sliding glass door. Poor customer service will call someone else. read more

My business had an unfortunate incident of vandalism which resulted in a shattered window. I had contacted two separate window companies on July 24th and went with Sierra Glass as they gave me a quicker response date (done and installed by July 29th vs July 31st by another company) and cheaper price. After I agreed to the price and gave them the go ahead, I was told he forgot to include one of the items that was needed (a window screen). This brought the total above the other company I was quoted for. I understand mistakes happen and after all I prefer a quicker response time. July 29th arrives and as I'm closing I realize that Sierra Glass has not showed up or even given a phone call to me. The following day, my business calls them (they did not contact us at all) and we are told there was an issue with the glass and it won't be done until the following week Monday (August 3rd). August 3rd, did not call, did not show. I had another company install bars on my window. They arrived and installed them but could not continue until the other window was finished. I called them they said "I haven't had a chance to pick up the glass yet, I will be there tomorrow - first stop in the morning" August 4th morning - no show. Afternoon comes, I call the company and tell them I was expecting them in the morning it is 12:30 now and no one has showed up. They make some calls and tell me the repair man will be at my place in 30-40 minutes. At 3pm a service man shows up. Finally my window is installed. I see them getting into the car about to leave and I run outside to ask them "what about my window screen?" they tell me it has to be made, won't be ready until Thursday (August 6th). August 6th - no show, no call August 7th - no show, no call. I call the company, they tell me Monday. August 10th - no show, no call. I call the company at end of the day tell them I was expecting them last week they have not showed up or called at all. He tells me he will install it first thing in the morning. August 11th - call company, tell them they have not showed or called STILL! Tells me has to pick up screen and will "rush like hell" to get it installed today or else tomorrow. No show. August 12th - no show. Call company at end of day. Tells me that repair man has been in my area. I told him it is now closing time and no one will be here. Tells me he will call me tomorrow morning - first thing. August 13th - No call in the morning. I call company in the afternoon and he tells me repair man is in my area, will call me back. Calls back at ~12:30pm, tells me repair man will be there in 30-40 minutes. Screen is finally put up! Repair man tells me that it took the screen company that long to make that actual screen - reason as to why it took so long. A 5 DAY quoted job ending becoming a 3 WEEK job. Literally 5 minutes after repair man left, they called me to pay the bill. No discounts were offered at all to me for the delay. I would not recommend Sierra Glass. I was constantly promised a date for job to be done and it did not happen. I had to be the one to contact them in regards to why the job was not getting done. I will not be using Sierra Glass again. read more

We called him yesterday and we told him we need a window put in because it was broken out and we said we would be home in 2 hours he said ok didn't show up late then told us he didn't have what we needed and would come with it tomorrow at 10 am it is now 2:41pm i called him ar 12:23 he said 35 to 45 and he shows up 2 hours later and still charged $95 never again read more

I came home to find my window broken. I panicked because I knew it was my beloved rottweiler that did it;( Thank god she is fine, but I had to deal with an open window. I thought i would have to wait until the morning, but Sierra Glass Co is a 24 hr emergency service. I called Robert the owner and within 30 minutes he was at my home. We had a crack in one pane of our dual pane window. Sierra Glass came out the same day, measured and ordered our replacement pane. The next week they were back and had the pane replaced in 30 minutes for $168. Other places I called wanted at minimum $300, which is just a complete rip-off. Thanks Sierra Glass. read more

I would never recommend Robert (Sole Owner). He took my window and screen for repair anid not give me a receipt or written estimate (violation of CSLB rules). Told me 2 days. I have called him almost daily in just about 2 weeks. Scheduled 2x for install and No Showed both times. NEVER once called me. No apology or explanation. Only says , I'll call you back, and NEVER does so. NOT once. I have racked up at least 8 hours of lost work time waiting for him. Robert is Extremely Unprofessional and should NOT be allowed to be in business. I felt I had no option but to submit complaints to the CSLB and BBB. Use him at your own risk!
