I was late, the hygienist punished me by refusing to do X-Rays. That is fair, except that I detest X-Rays and they can use X-Rays for up to 5 years. If you do not like a patient, be polite because you might just find your doc getting one of these messages. The previous DDS Dr Abel, was popular and excellent. The new doc bought the practice and as you can see, they refer to themselves as Dr Abel. Nope. No Dr Abel, and be careful or you will get "the treatment" and save some money on not having to do X-Rays. I left, and took my husband to a nice practice elsewhere.

They completed dental work that they knew would not be covered by my insurance and when I asked them to submit a new claim the said that "Dr. Young needed to send a letter to the insurance pleading on your behalf". The insurance company never received any such letter and now I am stuck with an outlandish bill for someone with dental insurance. Do not go to this company unless you want to get scammed. I will also be reporting them to the CA Dental Association and submitting a grievance to my insurance company to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Very disappointing.

But his work during each session was quick and efficient, and while I can't say it was painless, he got in and got the job done. He explained the technical details clearly and showed me how my implant works. He has a cheerfully gruff bedside manner the worked perfectly for me. I enjoyed our mutually teasing each other. The dental hygienists are always amazing, and excellent at dealing with people who are anxious about dental care or very sensitive to dental pain. However, today I had an experience where Dr. Wallace and his staff really went above and beyond that I really wanted to share. I had a filling come out last Friday, and when I called Monday morning to book an appointment, was told that I would be seen for diagnosis only, and the treatment would have to be scheduled in at a later date. You can imagine my surprise when upon looking at the tooth Dr. Wallace said he could take care of it today. He and his assistant got me very well numbed, got the filling replaced and got me out of there in less than 40 minutes. Thanks to them I am now pain free again AND was able to still make it in to work on time today. They easily could have scheduled me to come back at a later time, and their willingness to do this today made such a difference in my life this week. They identify any problems and recommend practical solutions. Recently, I had a 30 year old crown replaced before it really started to do any damage. The temporary crown was perfect as well as the permenant crown, as usual, absolutely no problems. I've had many teeth cleanings, cavities filled, and crowns and I cannot rememeber even one issue. THEBAD REVIEWS ON HERE ARE NOT A JOKE THEY ACT LIKE COMPLETE CHILDREN . (And I'm 24) As a younger patient that was already sketched out by dentists I decided to go here only because my mom told me these were decent people . Overall coming to the office has been complete hell from day one although the doctors are fairly nice and same with the hygienists. The manager Jen has an extremely poor attitude for working at the front of any establishment.
