I cried watching the wedding videos (of strangers) on his website, so we knew we had to book him for our wedding! Mike was professional and very responsive to our phone calls and emails. He was patient and helpful in reviewing the different videography packages and helping us customize a package that worked best for our situation. Unfortunately, our wedding date fell during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we had to cancel our big wedding plans. We asked Mike for a refund on our deposit, and we really appreciated his understanding and compassion given the situation. He gave us his word that he would return our deposit once he started getting business again. Although we could not use Mike for our event, we highly recommend him based on his professionalism, honesty, and our positive customer service experience.

Ryan and I have become very close friends over the years. He goes out of his way to take care of me! I would like to give a Big Shout to Katie Davison whom I had the pleasure of meeting on Dec. 6th. She edited my concert video I did with James Burton. Not only is she totally professional, but brings a wealth of knowledge, and creativity to the table.. Add to this she is an absolute joy to work with.. We had only two hrs. to view the highlights, share notes, ideas. and a few laughs..Usually I sit in on every edit, but time would not allow this before I left for Tahoe. I went with my gut instinct that I was in good hands with Katie. Being an artist myself I know how important it is to bring your vision to life...I let Katie work her magic!! I sent her notes, pictures, and we spoke once or twice. Boy. was I right! Katie did an Epic job of editing and added an extra dose of love for her craft to the project. When I watched it the night before I left for Tahoe, I was so moved that I was brought to tears..Katie you are a Pro's Pro! I can't wait for us to work on this next project with the new footage from Tahoe. Thank you Ryan and San Diego Audio Video for years of friendship and Amazing service. Thank you Katie for taking such good care of me and my vision. People in the industry have commented on what an Excellent job you did...I highly recommended Katie and her creative talent!! I explained to Brendan I wanted more of a relaxed and nature setting. We ended up at Balboa Park and it was perfect. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever you read, they're actually 10x better! My client and I were blown AWAY by the results we got with WG. They spared no effort carrying out exactly the vision we had, bringing creativity and attention to every aspect of production until we had a shining final product. I knew I was getting proposed to when photographer told me to turn around so she can "get the…read morereaction"; ruined the surprise. The photos came in the exact time she quoted us but the edits look like pictures taken and edited off an iPhone. Not happy with them. I had to re-crop and edit majority of all photos as best I could as all the edits completely washed out our skin tone, the colors of the sky etc. I asked for the raws so I could just edit them myself from scratch and it's been 2 weeks and still haven't received them. Didn't remind us or inform to take phones/wallets out of pockets so those just look lovely in all our photos **sarcasm**. Book with someone else who knows what they're doing and takes their time on special memories like this. Updating my review! Got some of the raws back a day after making my review, which was nice of her to send as she said she didn't usually do so, but the quality of the photos look like they were taken on an iPhone..it was nice to see some of the photos that didn't come through as finals. Aside from how the photos came out, the one positive was that Anel was easy to communicate with and nice overall!!

Although I generally prefer not to post negative criticism, the profound disappointment regarding…read moreour wedding photography has stayed with me for the past two years. I am deeply saddened by the outcome of the photos provided by this company. We were initially promised a specific photographer, 'Josh,' based on his recommended portfolio. However, only one week before our wedding, we were assigned 'Anel,' whose work we had never seen. On our wedding day, the level of professionalism and quality of work was unacceptable: Lack of direction: There was little to no guidance on posing or lighting. The photographer made comments like, 'What was that?' or 'What's that face?' instead of providing constructive direction. Poor Technical Execution: Many family photos feature heavy, unflattering shade cast across faces. Across the entire collection, there is only one usable, direct shot of my husband and me facing the camera. Absenteeism: During the cocktail hour, which we hired the photographer to cover, the photographer was found sitting in the dressing room instead of actively taking candid photos of our guests. I actually had to seek out the photographer to initiate coverage of the event. Frankly, the final delivered collection lacked the quality and professional execution we would expect from a paid vendor. It felt like paying a friend to snap photos, not a professional with an understanding of lighting and composition. A further point of concern: not a single photo from our wedding has ever been featured on the company's website or social media. We anticipated a high level of work based on the company's advertised portfolio, and what we received fell far short of that professional standard.
