I found Michael through a Groupon offer and being the savvy shopper I am, I checked his Yelp reviews. Satisfied that he had all 5-star reviews, I moved on to his website and easily liked all of the pictures in his portfolio from surf shots to weddings to maternity sessions. So, being sensitive to the small business owner, I decided to contact him directly and arrange for a session so that he didn't have to work for pennies giving Groupon a huge cut of an already discounted price. Michael seemed to appreciate the consideration and promised a quick turnaround (under a week!). We had our session only days after I contacted him, and we instantly liked him. We found Michael to be very down to earth, easygoing, and patient. He shared some good ideas for pictures, was very open to any of our ideas, and even as the session ended, made sure there weren't any last shots we wanted. He promised us pictures within the week and said that he would be happy to edit any of them for more light, color, black & white, etc. As promised, we received our pictures within the week. I was fortunate enough to find Michael and Blue Wesley Photography before an upcoming trip to San Diego for my Aunt's 60th surprise birthday weekend. I contacted Michael beforehand and asked if he'd be willing to show up on one of the days my family would be in town in order to take some photos so that we'd be able to have them forever and always look back on that weekend.
