When the male nurse finally announced my daughter's name he said, "Are you ready to go out back?" The male security whispered to the male nurse, " I'de like to take her out back...." The male nurse responded with, "Alright then!" They billed my daughter even though she told them she was homeless, unemployed and uninsured. I payed and just found out that they reversed payment and sent her account to collections. I called to complain about service and was told that the head of the security department would contact me. I heard nurses and techs being catty after walking away from a patient's room. I heard them yelling from the nurse's station to "be quiet". I hears them laughing loudly. We are all there sick and this is not an atmosphere to help us get better. I spilled my urine bucket by mistake and let someone know right away. The entire stay was spent with urine under my bed. It never got cleaned up until I moved out of the room into the hallway again next to the nurse's station. I could hear everything they were saying about other patients, unkind things. I was appalled. What were they saying about me? I met with a marvelous social worker I believe her name is Allie. She was so patient and kind. She deserves all good things life has to offer her. The poor patient next to me was just yelling for some air. The security guys said she's too old anyway and they snickered then at one point I thought she had passed away. The halls were full of beds. The doctor that I finally saw was great! Dr Skratts maybe? He was so empathetic toward me. If I just had to rate him it was be a five star rating. Unfortunately too much happened that I cannot unhear or see and it's a horrible vision I have to live with. I'm scared of retribution by posting this because it is the only hospital in my area within 40 miles.

She was treated kindly which is very important ( I have done 2 long tours as a missionary in West Africa so good care along with dignity and respect go a long way!) I understand that the ED is busy but I didn't choose him to work there, he did. so the being busy thing cant be a good excuse. Doctor Daniel Sadoma wouldn't contact my surgical team after they were the ones who sent me to the ED. He was obsessed with an issue that I didn't go in for and I very clearly told him was not my problem. I reviewed the notes after I left and he actually lied on the documentation about the exam he provided. The paper work stated that he checked my eyes, lungs, etc. standard triage stuff. He never did any of that. He actually lied saying we discussed changing my routine around constipation too. He didn't discuss any changes with me. Nothing was even talked about in regards to the pain that I came in for. Literally zero pain management options were brought up. That sad I have no interest in pain meds. I wanted to be treated properly. This doctor didn't even do the bare minimum in that regard. Just the fact that I told him repeatedly that I was a bariatric patient and that my team from this same hospital sent me there and he decided that wasn't important. At one point he asked me if they wanted me admitted and I said I don't know why don't you contact them. He replied that he only contacted specialist if he had a reason to! I guess that specialist literally telling me to do he ED wasn't a good enough reason. I don't even live near Roseville, I only drove here because this is where my surgical team is! BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO GO HERE! Avoid Doctor Daniel Sadoma at all costs. there are way better doctors here and if you end up with this man ask for someone else or push hard to get proper care because he won't listen to you. maybe it's because I am a woman. or maybe he just thinks he knows better than my surgical team.
