Providing an honest review of my experience:…read more I came to this office for a second opinion and had some texture concerns around my mouth. During my consultation, Dr. Robertson recommended that I meet with Jessie to discuss laser treatment options. Jessie recommended erbium laser resurfacing around my mouth. I was told to expect approximately 2-3 weeks of downtime and that any pinkness could last up to six months but would be easy to cover with makeup. I was also shown before-and-after photos that appeared to show very positive outcomes. My personal experience was very different from what I expected. I experienced approximately 12 weeks of downtime, and my skin felt extremely tight, almost "shrink-wrapped." My smile and facial animation also felt altered. When I shared these concerns with Dr. Robertson, I was told that this was consistent with laser resurfacing. For me, these sensations persisted for around 10 months. At nearly 11 months post-procedure, I still feel my skin texture looks unusually smooth and shiny, and some pre-existing texture or scars appear more noticeable or different than before. At my three-month follow-up appointment, when I expressed concern about these changes, I was told that little could be done for a year or more because additional treatments could trigger inflammation. I believe this possibility should have been discussed more clearly before treatment, because I would not have moved forward had I fully understood the potential recovery timeline and limitations afterward. Before proceeding with erbium, I specifically asked whether Halo laser might be a better option. Jessie told me that it would take "10 Halo treatments to achieve the results of erbium." Another aspect that was not fully explained to me was how noticeable the contrast between treated and untreated skin could appear during healing. In my experience, blending remained obvious for many months. My overall feeling is that I was not fully informed about the extent of recovery, the appearance changes during healing, or the emotional impact of the process. As a result, the experience was very difficult for me and affected my trust moving forward. I would also encourage anyone considering this treatment to keep in mind that before-and-after photos shown in consultations are often taken in highly controlled lighting conditions that may minimize how texture and reflectivity appear. In everyday lighting, I personally felt that redness, shininess, and texture changes were much more noticeable. Prepare to be uncomfortable with what you see for 6-10 months. The mouth area takes longer to heal because skin is thinner and in constant motion, plus it is the focal point of your face, so any change is more noticeable. In my opinion, this procedure should not be considered a minor recovery treatment. Prospective patients should be prepared for the possibility of significant downtime, prolonged healing, and emotional stress related to appearance changes during recovery. I do not feel those aspects were adequately explained to me during my consultation. I genuinely wish I had understood these possibilities beforehand, because I would have made a different decision. I am sharing my experience so that others considering erbium laser resurfacing can make a more informed decision. The second picture is before the others are after. They feel this is a good outcome. I do not feel the same way.

The procedure was performed using conscious sedation rather than general anesthesia, which I felt was a safer approach. At three weeks post-op, I had more facial sensation than I did years after my first facelift. Dr. Parfitt performed my facelift, neck lift, and forehead lowering with scalp advancement. Scar revision from my prior facelift and correction of my earlobes were included as part of the facelift. The scars healed extremely well with his soft-tissue technique, including removal of visible scarring along the back hairline. His approach reflects a strong focus on safety, risk reduction, and long-term function--not just appearance. The clinic is beautiful, well organized, and efficiently run. Dr. Parfitt has a calm, steady manner and excellent aesthetic judgment. He was clear and realistic about what results to expect, and his recommendations were conservative and natural. I look refreshed, not "done." Recovery was smooth. He provided clear post-op instructions and supplement recommendations to help reduce swelling, which I believe helped. After surgery, he gave me his personal cell number and responded promptly to texts, even on weekends. For the level of care, craftsmanship, and results, his pricing is very fair. Highly recommend. I was interested in having some skin tightening done under my eyes and had a consult scheduled yesterday. I took off work and arrived for my 2:30 appointment. At 3:10 I had not been seen yet. Twice I was told he was "just finishing up and would be in shortly." I had somewhere to be at 3:30 so I informed the office manager I was leaving. Her words were "he's just finishing up with discharging someone," zero apology. She sat there and said nothing when I said I was leaving and I was not pleased I had taken off work. I still have not heard from them to follow up and am assuming I won't. To act like my time isn't valuable is inexcusable. This comes less than a month after I referred my sister to have $20k in procedures done, and they knew that. I will never return.

I had booked a consultation with Dr. Siebert in May, the appointment was booked out until July (its because that man is that good. Trust me). It was worth the wait. During my consultation he answered every one of my questions and was patient with me during the entire thing. All of his staff members that I encountered were as well. I was more than pleased with my consultation and ultimately decided to pursue the procedure at this place. I then had a pre-op appointment with Dr. Sieberts PA who treated me with the exact same professional demeanor as Dr. Siebert. My surgery was scheduled for beginning of September and went better than I had anticipated. The entire peri-operative staff is caring and made sure my boyfriend was kept in the loop with all that was going on with my care. I cant say enough about Dr. Siebert, his team, and the transformations center. I am a member of the healthcare industry myself (and those related to surgical services) so I feel that I already had a very critical eye going into this. Not that I ever plan on having another elective surgery performed, but if I ever did, I would want it to be with Dr. Siebert and the staff at Transformations.

I've been a loyal client of Robertson Cosmetic Center for several years, but unfortunately, I will…read moreno longer be returning. As a mother of two young children, finding time or justification to spend money on myself is rare. To ease the financial guilt, I usually wait for special promotions or discounted gift card offers. That's exactly what I did for Mother's Day--I purchased a $150 gift card for $100 as a small treat to myself. Yesterday, I received a message from Robertson staff reminding me of available gift cards, which prompted me to schedule an appointment. Since I was at work, I didn't want to make a call, so I used their online booking system. The first available appointment was with the provider I normally see, and I thought, "Perfect! Next Wednesday." I booked it and moved on with my day. A few hours later, I received a voicemail saying I had missed an appointment 20 minutes ago and that I had been charged $100 for a no-show. My stomach dropped. I immediately called to explain the situation--that I mistakenly thought I was booking for next week, not today. I was even willing to leave work early (I'm only 9 minutes away) and come in right then. I explained how I truly cannot afford to just lose $100, and I was hoping for a little understanding or flexibility. Unfortunately, none was offered. The receptionist said she'd check with the practice manager and placed me on hold for one minute before returning to say, "Sorry, it's our policy." I asked to speak with the manager directly, and after several hours with no call back, I called again--this time the manager answered. She seemed prepared to shut me down before even hearing me out. I explained that I completely understand why cancellation policies exist--to prevent missed opportunities for other clients and protect the business from late cancellations--but this was clearly a genuine mistake, not an abuse of the system. I asked if anyone had even tried to get in during that same window, which would have indicated a lost opportunity--but she refused to answer directly. Her only response was, "It's our policy." I then asked to speak to someone above her, and the next day Dr. Robertson called me. Unfortunately, his response was just as dismissive. No empathy, no flexibility--just, again, "It's our policy." It's really disappointing, especially considering how much I've spent over the years and how many people I've referred to them. I know most of my referrals probably didn't even use my name, but they were all based on the trust I had in this practice. That trust is now gone. All this over $100. What makes this even more frustrating is that I didn't receive the usual confirmation or reminder text for the appointment. When I asked why, I was told those only go out at 7:00 a.m., and I had made the appointment after that time. If that's the case, patients should not be able to book same-day appointments online without some kind of confirmation system in place. A simple text might have helped me catch the mistake. I understand policies exist for a reason. But good businesses know when to make exceptions--especially for long-standing clients with genuine intentions. Life happens, and there are plenty of other providers who balance professionalism with empathy. I'll be taking my business to one of them.

I have had a very long, awful lip filler experience here. I went here 6+ times and spent…read more*thousands* of dollars to leave every time just to heal and have lumpy, uneven lips with very little results a few weeks later... over and over and over. I kept coming back and listening to their messages because I didn't go to school for this, so what do I know? 6+ visits later all I'm dealing with STILL are lips full of lumps of uneven filler, heavy heavy migration ("filler mustache" if you want to google) and no results. I pointed out from the beginning that I was unhappy and I have many messages going back and forth about that, and the lumps. Then at my last appointment I wanted to discuss the lumps and the weird fullness only in the middle, and was told any bump she saw then was "natural anatomy". I pointed out multiple times (in messages I have screenshots of through Klara), how unhappy I was with no results and the lumpiness (nearly immediately after my second appointment), and I was told every time to just keep coming back and they'd fix it. It was never fixed. It never got better. I came here to fix how self conscious I was of my thin lips and I've been more insecure of the bumps and lumps and migrating filler than I ever was of my natural lips. None of the photos in the nasty collage I put together were directly after or within 2 weeks of the filler healing, so these are NOT healing bumps or swollen. All of these are just day to day pictures I took when I was feeling awful about my lips that I zoomed in on and cropped, or regular photos I cropped. I don't even understand how filler is done this poorly. Now I'm struggling to find another place that will dissolve this ugly mess so I can start over after putting thousands into what I thought was a good place.

There is little regard for continuity of mental health care. After seeing Gil Roth since 2021, when I called to schedule an appointment after a four month lapse, I was told I was no longer eligible to be a patient as I did not have a PCP in the clinic. I haven't had a PCP in the clinic since 2023. I never received notice in writing of this new "policy" (a nurse later coldly told me this isn't a "policy", but that "Gill Roth and Dr. Cordes are providers that were hired by Associated Physicians to see our patients"). There is nothing posted on their website, even now: https://www.apmadison.com/behavioral-health (It even says Gil is accepting new patients- ironic, since they are actively turning them away). So beware- because it isn't in writing as far as I can tell- if you aren't in their PCP club, even if you are a pre-existing patient with years of a relationship established- they have very little regard for the continuity of your mental health care.
