So I am writing a long over due yelp! I'll start off with why I decided to work with Sidney. I love the fact that I could start anytime I like and I'm never late. My schedule is crazy so it's easy for me to do a morning workout. So Sidney Wilson will arrive when you need him. Let me just tell you this. If you want a change and need a push. Sidney Wilson won't hesitate he is going to: shove, drag, murder you, and give you the encouragement to keep pushing yourself. You will go one week saying, "I got this" to him telling you we are: "lifting 90 pounds now." I honestly didn't think I could do that. I would think. this guy is on one today. But he pushed my body to physical gain the strength that I've never seen before. Everyone at work could tell a difference. The moment I got on his diet I felt better, and I felt lighter after four days! Like everything about me. I drank enough water and I was eating the right kind of foods. Of course I hit a mark where I was not loosing anymore weight, and we figured out I wasn't eating enough. If I ever had questions about if something really works or not he would explain how it does. I've gained so much self confidence by working with him. You just need to tell him. What your definition of a healthy body is and he will get you what you want. read more

Please read the bad review before you reach out to to this guy. I had originally signed up for 2 months of working out with him and based off of his instagram feed I was really excited to learn how to mix up my workouts and get great results. Well I didn't get what I expected. There were days he was late and would have my do cardio for an hour before I would even go upstairs to do weights. Somedays he would show up and make me do 100 reps of squats, hips trusts, pushups etc. and he would go downstairs and eat his lunch the entire time... He was super demeaning in the way he speaks to his clients, making them feel like they aren't to speak unless they are spoken to. Half of the time he isn't even paying attention to what you are doing because he is sitting on his phone texting. Without supervision clients run into the potential of not doing exercise correctly and injuring themselves. A trainer is supposed to be watching what you are doing, ensuring you have the correct for to not only have results but to not injure yourself. That is why you are a trainer. There were days I would get there and he would say, " I hope you're ready to die" and would proceed to tell us to do 100 reps of everything. I'm sorry but with my Nutrition and Health Science education I have never been taught that in order to see results you need to do 100 reps of anything. One day he had me do 100 clean and presses with a barbell and 45 lbs on each side.... halfway through by back was hurting and I could feel my form falling apart making my back and knees hurt even worse. He then looks over and says,"If you don't finish your 100 today, you start all over tomorrow". I pushed through and finished my 100 because i didn't want to be punished for not finishing but now that I look back I shouldn't have. I should've told this guy he was insane and was going to make me injure myself. The reason I probably didn't do that is because if you say one word to this guy and he doesn't like the tone of your voice, is having a bad day or doesn't like the intent of your message to him you are punished with hundreds of more reps of exercises and hours of cardio. Sorry but last time I checked you dont get results from punishing people to exercise, you should be encouraging them to work out and push themselves. This guy made my experience working out with him absolutely miserable. I have been an athlete for many years and know how to work out with proper form in order to get real results. I was previously a competitive gymnast and have always stayed extremely active with working out and yoga and I thought It would be to workout with him, learn some new exercise and switch things up a bit with my routing. But this guy turned something I had loved into something I was dreaded doing everyday with him. I didn't complete my 2 months with him because he was a horrible person and his attitude disgusted me and made me feel like a more negative person, I didn't want to condone his behavior any more so I just stopped going. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not give this guy your time or money, you will end up regretting it. Also, his instagram like many other is just a portrayal of what they want you to see and is far from reality. read more

I've been very hesitant about sharing for many reasons. Shame, fear, embarrassment, regret are remnants of the old me that I face everyday. She's my greatest enemy and alternately, responsible for me not giving up. A year ago, I asked @sidneywilson4 to help me. My first day was his infamous #ViciousFriday workouts and I survived (barely) and pushed myself to return each day for more. Working with Sid, I learned to be uncomfortable, to push, to do something that I never thought I could do. (It's obvious that he wouldn't ask me to do something if he didn't think I could do it, right? It was just a matter of time before I believed it too.) I was no longer the observer, I became the doer. Sid's guarantee is that each workout is different. Some days it was physical, some days it was mental. No matter what, Sid was with me each step of the way. I still struggle with the old me but she's learning that this journey is about growth, perseverance, peace, humility and courage. I used to regret the slow progress but the proof in these pictures is that I am already stronger than the old me. It's only fitting that I waited to get through my first year before sharing. If you're looking for a shortcut or for easy, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a lifestyle change with results, you need to come in and talk to Sid. He's not for everyone. He's for those who have not given up and want to #GetVicious! read more

BEWARE OF THIS GUY! READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS My mother was trained by him and got hurt doing his exhaustive workouts where he overloads you with a volume of bodyweight exercises ranging into the hundreds of reps all the while encouraging you with negative reinforcement to make them "power through". He works you out so hard that you won't want to go back after you've already paid for your training in advance. So, unless you're willing to suffer and probably get hurt to get to where you want, ask yourself, is getting to where you want and hurting yourself in the process by a guy who doesn't care about you worth it? Good luck getting your money back too because City Athletic Club where he works doesn't care either and he's a contract trainer with the gym, not an employee. My mother is 50+, never done a burpee in her life and this guy tells her she needs to "shock her body" with his overload of burpees (100+) among other dynamic bodyweight exercises like jump squats that she's not use to or been properly trained to do. The guy is too busy on his phone and computer to even show her how to properly do the exercise. Shocking the body doesn't mean to electrocute it until you're so sore you can't even move and then after you can move, have problems in areas you didn't before like my mom experienced with her legs and back. She's still in pain and has been to a chiropractor and massage therapist to help her and still nothing is as it was before training with Sidney. From my mother's personal experience alone, she not only experiences aches and pains months later, she can attest to him doing this to others too as she's watched him train different women with his disrespect for his clients time when he tells them to warm up as he does his own workout then tell them to do a ridiculously shocking workout to basically make it so that person never wants to go back and train with him. This guy is straight up intimidating these women with his negative reinforcement so let's face it, the guy knows he's huge and can make these women feel like they have to do what he says even if they break themselves doing it. The evidence is in these words - my mom was too afriad to even write a negative review on here because of it. read more

I found out about Sidney through other friends of mine who were training with him, it took me a few months to finally work out when I could start training with him too, and I am SO thankful that I am. He's amazing, so motivational, but still funny and realistic. The workouts are intense and sometimes I think I'm not going to make it through everything, but I continuously surprise myself and I always do. I am so much stronger and I feel so much better about my body. I signed up for a 6 week program, and without a doubt I am going to sign up for the same program again. Workout out with Sidney has changed my life, and it's not a crash diet or crazy workout program. It's a real, life change for the better. I would 100% recommend Sidney Wilson!!! Here's my transformation just over a month, (5 weeks). Right now we are on a cut/lose/tighten up process. Went from 200 lbs to 184. I have always workout 6 days a week for about an hour and a half each day. Did cardio here and there nothing crazy. I have always ate healthy, I was not really a fast food guy. I would rather cook than go out to eat. This all started with my girl friend going to a trainer for some time and results showed just after 6 weeks. Fitness has been my passion for some time now, but I was not reaching the ideal look I wanted to look like to become a Personal Trainer. So I wanted help. I reached out to Sidney Wilson (@sidneyWilson4) for help. Getting older my body doesn't allow what my younger self use to do. So I needed help with my eating habits and training routine. My "diet" consisted of more meals with smaller portions. Cutting carbs out with a higher protein intake. Consuming 2 gallons of water a day minimum. Even during my work schedule no matter what, I had to eat something even if it was a protein bar every two hours. Working out with out a time limit, listening to my body on when I was done and not pushing it, but giving my all each set and rep. On top of training, I was burning a minimum of 1,000 calories of cardio a day. If I missed a meal, one too many cheat meals, or missed a workout, I would have to double up on that cardio next training day. This program I was on was #Vicious. Sid puts you on a program for your body type. This is not a copy paste program like other trainers do for each of their clients. He adjust for what you can do and can not do. Notices strengths and fixes your weakest points and turns them into your strengths. He makes you better than you were the day before. It's a confidence booster each day you walk out that gym and waking up the next day to work harder then you did the day before. My end goal of this 4 month process is to be lean 195. Being a Personal Trainer is all about what people see, they can't see a number. So what I can do in 4 months and how I did it is something I want to show. I've seen other programs, heard of many other trainers but I have NEVER been so hungry to reach this end goal. Sid truly cares and is committed to helping me reach that Personal Trainer status that I want. read more

I've been training consistently with Sidney for about 3 months now. I like that he makes me take progress photos every week so it helps me actually see how far I'm coming with my body and my workouts. Everyone makes excuses, plain and simple! I'm too busy to workout, I work too much, I'm tired.... we get it, life happens! We all make time for things in our lives that are of importance, so once you are ready to make that change, look no further then Sidney Wilson. I found Sid through my IG feed. I kept seeing all these amazing six week transformations. I have tried everything there is on the market to manage my weight. You get what you give! There is no easy way to shed pounds, you've got to put in the work. Sid gave me a diet and exercise program to stick to, and I sent him my food and exercise journal, everyday. I live in NYC and he is based in Las Vegas, and even though I am not training in his gym, I still lost 22.4 pounds in 6 weeks! I can't imagine how much more weight I would have lost had I lived in NV. I work in the foodservice industry as a Pastry Chef, and I have to make a conscience effort, everyday to choose wisely what I put into my body. After my 13-16 hour shift (this is normal), it is so easy to grab food out of convenience. Most of these foods are bad for you and leave you feeling discussing afterwards. Like the saying says....old habits die hard. Sid motivates you and pushes you to stay on track. He is tough, and he means business, nonetheless; he is approachable and he won't give up on you! If you are serious about changing the way you look and feel, invest in Sid. Invest in YOU! I have just started another six week program, and hope to continue to feel better about myself, from the inside out! read more

I was looking for someone to push me hard, keep me accountable, encourage me, tell me what to eat, and scare the heck out of me. I was following Sidney for months knowing he was the perfect trainer for me but I let anxiety, excuses, and the fear of committing stop me from getting my insane results sooner. I exhausted everything; I tried the Keto diet, trained by myself, went to expensive bootcamps. Nothing was giving me the results I needed so I finally took the HUGE step and got connected with Sidney. I'll never forget the first day seeing Sidney and thinking "oh my god I'm terrified". That first week I left training with him everyday feeling so incredibly good about myself. Week after week I started to feel alive, healthier, and more confident than I ever have. Sidney pushes you to a place you never thought you could get too... and then some. He is a true example of his brand 'vicious' by the way he trains you. Every day is something different, every week you're sore in a new place you've never been sore before, and every week your body is showing even crazier results. Fast forward 5 weeks of training with him and taking his incredible fat burner and I got the results I wasted months and months on my own trying to get. IN FIVE WEEKS. If there's one thing you get off of this it's that it's seriously time to stop feeling bad about yourself, and start feeling vicious. Sidney will get you there 100%. Thank you so much Sidney Wilson. He literally never gets up of his chair, he sits down on his computer and phone the whole time. To say that Sidney just changed my life is still in a way a huge understatement, I look at things a lot differently now, like dressing rooms haha I actually like those now. There is nothing better than putting something on and feeling fantastic, with clothes and even without ;-D Sidney Wilson, is exactly what he says, a personal trainer who lives up to his reputation. I've tried everything, and the only thing that's worked is having this guy kick my ass 5 days out of the week! I've trained with @sidneywilson4 for almost a full month and I've seen crazy results due to his ridiculous training/exercises, knowledgable coaching, and dietary planning.. I've gone from 240 to 223 lbs (11 pounds lost for those of you mathematicians out there) I'm faster, stronger, and more flexible than I've ever been, which is saying something; having been an athlete my entire life including Division 1 college athletics and hitting the gym every day before my shift at work. #getvicious gym is second to none and I'd recommend joining #teamvicious if you are stuck in a rut, miss that awesome sore-feeling, lack motivation, or want to finally achieve your goals. Thanks @sidneywilson4 ! You're a boss. read more

I have trained with Sidney, on 3 different occasions. Each time I was at a different (weight) phase in my life and able to get results within weeks. The strength training helps me progress in moving up in weight. The stretching he's helped me to understand, is so important to progress and recovery. The diet is easy to follow, (even tho I am vegan I just replaced my proteins) and followed the plan. The gym is Pure Private Fitness, and the equipment is brand new and super clean. Personally, I like the environment of women trying to achieve the same goal, the music helps me stay focused, and the reps are in high quantities so I always know what I'm doing. Having trained with 2 other trainers at LVAC, I can say I would definitely recommend Sidney. read more

I went to Sidney about a year ago and since then a couple of people have reached out to me asking if they should join. The answer is no. I'm very surprise he gets the rating that he does...it's very hyped up. Sidney is not attentive. He spends a lot of time texting, snap chatting and browsing on his computer. He'll ask you to do 200 burpees or jump swats and will occasionally look up to see what number you're at. He's all for his own image and social media. My last straw was when Sidney had the nerve to hand me off to a new hired with zero prior training experience. I understand that everyone has to start their career somewhere but I was paying a lot of money to train with SIDNEY ($500/month). I would've been more understanding if he had ASK for my permission to pass me along. I felt very disrespected and I never came back since. Actually, I'm getting angry as I'm writing this. Let me put this way, how would you feel if you made an appointment to get your hair done and the stylist had someone else work on you without your permission? I didn't feel that he was genuine. I felt so cheated with Sidney. After he gets his money he won't even pay attention to you. Do you get results training with him? YES, you DO get results. However, there is nothing special about his service. It's over priced, the meal plan he provides are all common knowledge and nothing you can't research online. I started training with a different gym and gotten great results for a way affordable price. I'm being treated so much better with someone else. read more

Signed up for 4 months, unfortunately i will only use 2. When I signed up the business hours were until 6pm and on Saturdays. I work until 5pm and to early to come in the morning. 5-6 pm and Saturdays were the only times i could come in. First Saturdays were cut. Now he is closing at 5:45. It is not even worth driving to for a 30 minute work out. 15 minutes may not seem like a big deal but it is 25% of my workout time. The problem is he can (ethically no) and will change things to benefit his time. He has private sessions he had to get to by 6, which i am not confident the hours wont go to 5, 4, 3. I'm sure the private sessions are a priority..he makes more money there. When I came to Sidney with my complaint I offered to stop coming and use the money i have prepaid for private sessions which i believe is more than reasonable because he changed things NOT me. To do this he says i would have to pay MORE to commit to more time. It would be ridiculous to give more money because he decided to change a condition that was a deciding factor on joining. Two hour cuts have happened in two months..I have a strong feeling it could happen with my more expensive sessions also. Time was specifically talked about in text messages when i signed up, plus posted on yelp and his gyms doors. Overall I did get in better shape when I worked out there. It made me accountable to workout. I probably would have continued to do private sessions if he would have been more reasonable and showed he actually cared about the situation. He did not care about meeting in the middle, he has his money prepaid so I'm SOL to him. That's not a company I want to invest in. I'm still waiting for my 1/2 refund and will adjust the review if i ever do get it. If you have a flexible schedule then this is probably a great place to you. read more

I came to Sidney mistakenly thinking I understood how to work out. Sidney showed me the incredible importance of athletic stretching which I had greatly taken for granted in my late 30's. The added flexibility allowed me to lift a tremendous amount more weight and do more reps then I ever thought I was capable of. A heavy day for me on the bench was 4x8 at 225lbs. Now I do 10x10 at 225lbs. I've done 700 burpies and frequently done 100 pull ups or 200 push ups in one day. The most important part is, I don't get injured because stretching is now such a priority. He uses weight training first to make sure you avoid injury then he uses it to make you stronger. read more
