What is everyone else doing that takes so long!? At any rate, I really appreciated that I could use their text service to make an appointment; I spend a lot of my time in meetings and calls so finding uninterrupted time to make these kinds of requests can be tricky sometimes. Making matters worse was that I was traveling while trying to get an appointment for a spot on my face, making this service wonderful for me. Within seconds I was told that I had a cyst and we not only talked through options for removal, it was done then and there! I had to go back in a week to take out the sutures and that appointment actually took longer than the removal. I also got a call in-between appointments advising the status of the cyst, too, which I appreciated. Really the only issue I had was the intense bruising that occurred on my face that I wasn't warned about--it was so bad I was telling people that I may or may not be in a secret fight club! The nurse at the suture removal appointment seemed surprised by the bruising but didn't speak to it and it wasn't on the post-care sheet I received, either.

But the level of egregiousness reflected in the policies of this business is consistently baffling to me, and I feel I should chime in with how stressful this place is to deal with so maybe someone new can save themselves the grief. The first available appointment with a competent practice wasn't until January, so until I can transfer there I'll be putting up with managing my condition at Forefront. The patient rooms are never really clean. Every time I'm there, there's open syringes, used ointments and bandages, etc. sitting on the counter. If you need to contact a nurse at the location that works with your doctor to discuss anything about your care or ask questions, forget it. When you call, you're routed to a central call "center" (wfh employees scattered all over the world). IF you manage to get an employee who knows how to transfer you "to the location", you MIGHT be able to leave a voicemail (if it doesn't just disconnect the call), but they'll never call you back. Worst of all, they screw up communications with insurance providers and make it near impossible to communicate with anyone about it. No one knows how to take responsibility for what communications need to happen in order for a prior authorization to be submitted, and my doctor's only advice for getting ahold of anyone was literally to "show up here". That's ridiculous that I have to take time and gas and drive to ask someone a simple question in 2025! But then I leave work early and do show up and no one has any answers!!! Currently dealing with being blocked from filling my medication because my insurance "needs more information" to verify the prior authorization (it's not even a first time prior auth. Just a renewal!) and no one at Forefront can figure out what information to give them or how. Can't wait for January and I can be done with this place.
