This is the former Public House in Ferndale, they took out the cute travel trailer bar in the large back room, and replaced it with a more standard bar. They also put in a bunch of modern looking, but uncomfortable looking, booths. They also made things a little darker. Staff was great, polite, and fast. I really enjoyed my food, and the people I was with enjoyed theirs as well.

Stopped by this cute little spot for a quick snack and was not disappointed!. The burgers were delicious and full of flavor- the drinks were on point as well. I will be returning when I'm not in such a hurry- to experience their awesome service.

Good sliders. Strong drinks. All was well. My party of 4 enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant/bar is spacious. We sat on the back like indoor patio area.

This is a new business in Ferndale, they are definitely set in their new direction. Sliders are what they do, and they do them pretty well. I think their price point might be a little bit high, but, in this day and age they're probably closer than I think. I'm just a little older. The staff is real helpful in explaining the menu, suggesting which sandwich we should try. I had the chicken slider it was actually very very good. It would be a great place for a date, but I probably wouldn't take the family.

Overall the service and ambiance are really nice. I like that there is a covered "patio" area and it's nice and quiet out there. Our waitress was really nice and even allowed my friend to order happy hour drinks a few minutes early! And the chef came out to personally make sure another friend's burger was remade how she wanted it. I liked the pickle fries a lot! The sliders were okay, but too pricey for what they were worth. The bun to filling ratio seemed off where there was too much bun. But otherwise, I did enjoy the taste of the sliders I got which one was the 9-1-1 and had a good kick to it from the habanero.

Mediocre sliders, in my opinion, compared to what used to be available from PH. But I only tried one kind. Maybe the others are better.

Little difficulty with folks who aren't as tech savvy as there are not servers or menus but if you don't want a typical restaurant experience where you have to wait for everyone to arrive (you know you have those friends that are always late for everything!) to order this is your jam. Food has always been good and their drink selection is as diverse as you're going to find in the craft beer scene today. Yes, 1/3-1/2 of their taps are IPA's but that's what you people have done to this world.

A hostess who takes your money and gives you a bracelet, automated beer, and you use your phone to order from the kitchen, they text you and you go get your food. I wondered many times how they could serve alcohol and not monitor how much people were drinking? So I asked. The host is in the front said at the end of 32 oz is your bracelet will not work and you need to come up and see me to reset it. I guess that's how they would monitor whether or not someone could get another 32 oz? I'm surprised not more places have copied their business layout. With the new generation, this would be the place to go, you barely have to speak to anyone except for the people you're with.

I opted for the garlic fries upcharge, bringing my total to $19.00. Somehow I justified it because I like these toppings and these toppings weirdly weren't available on a pizza. Or at least I didn't see it via the phone based ordering system. Yes, that's right, this is all of the future check with wrist bands and pour your own beer situation. Don't look for a paper menu, they ain't here. My sandwich wasn't a grilled cheese. It was basically pesto toast with large sun-dried tomatoes and scraps of mozzarella. Baby spinach was just missing. I did inquire to the host (perchance the only actual employee?) and he did talk to the kitchen and I guess they were out. With that information I turned to my friend Robert and said, "You know why we have servers? So they can let you know they're 86 spinach." I suppose I would have adjusted my order had I known this too. What's nuts is, they have ingredients to make a better grilled cheese. I mean, step one: add cheese. Why not mix the ricotta and pesto together and then add like havarti or something that may actually melt and have flavor. The sun-dried tomatoes should be sliced smaller. The garlic fries were fine, but also could have had more flavor. Robert's and neighboring table's pizza looked fine. Is it better than any other place offering Detroit style pizza? Hard to say. I guess I'm not in a hurry to go back. The kind host did make an adjustment to my bill for lack of spinach--but having a server would have prevented that being necessary.

It's an easy place to settle in, whether you're grabbing a drink, meeting friends, or easing into a weekend. I love that they have brunch now, and it's legit. We eat with our eyes first, and the food here always looks as good as it tastes. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Great drinks, great food, great vibes. Definitely a go-to spot in Royal Oak--and one I'm always happy to highlight as @DonnyLB on IG/TikTok. Check me out and check this place out.

The inside and outside was decorated head-to-toe in festive lights, ornaments, and wrapping paper. My party and I sat in their igloo outdoor seating which highlighted the festive atmosphere. I tried their Santa's Milk & Cookies holiday cocktail, which came in a festive Mrs. Claus' mug. The drink was VERY strong! I ordered the Crisper Chicken Sandwich which had a delicious pesto aioli and sun-dried tomato relish which elevated the sandwich. Yum! Between the decor, themed drinks, great food, and the fun atmosphere, this event was such a great way to kick off the holiday season. If you're thinking about checking out a holiday pop-up, Ale Mary's Jingle is absolutely worth it!
