I would give the ticketing and people in charge of seating 1 star. This has no bearing on the venue itself, but selling tickets to a performance by section, and first come first serve on seating was mass chaos. There was a lot of frustration between a lot of people who did not show up early to stand in line outside for 30 minutes as we had to, and we sat in our four seats on the third row and multiple older people would come in and ask us to move from our seats because they wanted to sit in them, or ask us if we would move to where they could get a better view when they showed up five minutes before the concert began. It was absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating as we had to go and funnel inside like cattle rushing to seats so we could sit together, and then try to save seats anytime our husbands went to the bar to grab a drink or go to the bathroom. People would come up and ask us if they could sit there. It just is not organized at all, and that would be my very main concern and frustration with this venue. I am not sure if it was the ticketing people or the venue itself, but we will probably not be doing another concert there unless they sell tickets to specific seats. Again, beautiful venue and wonderful talented musicians, but the seating was not organized and incredibly frustrating.

I attended a private birthday party here for a friend who booked an entire floor. Despite presenting a 100% valid, legal Virginia government ID, security staff singled me out, falsely accused me of having a fake ID, and caused a massive, humiliating scene. They even tried to illegally confiscate my ID, and only handed it back after I threatened legal action. The situation escalated until law enforcement intervened. A police officer on the scene ran my ID and explicitly confirmed to the staff that it was completely authentic and legal. Yet, the venue still refused to admit me--with the staff condescendingly telling me, 'Good news, your ID is real. Bad news, you're still not getting in.' I was barred from my friend's privately booked event while the rest of the party was allowed inside. When they still refused my entry, I pointed out that if their staff genuinely cannot recognize a real, government-issued out-of-state ID verified by law enforcement, they lack basic training and are likely serving actual underage drinkers inside.The blatant bias, the refusal to respect law enforcement's official verification, and the public degradation were shocking. If you are visiting from out of state, save your time and money. Go somewhere that treats all paying guests with basic human dignity and trains their staff properly.

It's so easy that we literally showed up two minutes before the birthday party started with no problems. You get to choose the theme and they supply everything, themed table covers themed plates, themed balloons, themed goodie bags! My son chose Ghostbusters, which I thought would be difficult for them to find, but they found a bunch of things. My older son chose Fortnite and that one was more mainstream, so I wasn't surprised that they did a good job. We got the package that came with 2 1/2 hours of bowling, $20 on game cards for all the kids, two large cheese pizzas (we added a third cheese pizza which was the right move since we had 15 kids), goodie bags and unlimited drinks for the kids. It is 6 kids per lane so with 15 kids we had three lanes. The only thing they don't supply is cake, which is so easy so we got a cookie cake and brought it. They even had Ghostbusters theme cake plates! I thought 2 1/2 hours was a bit ambitious for five-year-olds, but we use the entire time. They bowled for an hour then played arcade games for 30 minutes, then ate pizza, then ate cake, and then finished up their arcade cards/bowled a bit more. It was perfect. We started at 3 PM because they have cyber bowling with the lights off and colored lights flashing until four and then regular bowling from there on out. They have a designated party attendant that is constantly there to make sure the party is going well. She was fantastic. Having a birthday party here is so easy. It's a no-brainer.
