I wanted to express my appreciation for this Big O location. Anytime that I need the tires or the…read morebattery checked, which I purchased through them. Any visit I've had (we have been long-term customers because of their level of service and value) - I walk in the door, they take the information, take my car and when it's finished I check out and have always had a pleasant experience. Today I worked with Shawn Weber and I have had years of experience with Mike assisting me. Again, all of these visits to the store have gone quick and pleasant and professional. Today's services were battery and tires. A discount promotion was applied. I would have forgotten there was this (warranty/promotion I don't remember the name of the warranty/coverage) so I appreciated that they applied the discount without my needing to remind them. Always happy with them.

Historically, we've had good experiences with this store--but that has completely changed. The…read moretires we purchased and had installed here just one year ago are now being labeled as "so worn out in the front" that they supposedly need to be replaced. After only one year. I have never in my life had to replace tires annually. To make matters worse, we also purchased the warranty and were told it wouldn't cover anything in this situation. What is the point of a warranty if it offers zero protection? Extremely disappointing experience and a total lack of accountability. I would not recommend getting tires or services from this shop.

I give them 2 stars because the oil change was good. Other than that nope. NONE of the employees I…read moreworked with are employed there anymore. They told me if I got x, y and z my car would be fixed. No more noise from the back end. Didn't even notice I got a battery $427, and instead of just 2 brake pads I now had 2 new rotors as well (originals fine) extra $235, an alignment at $130. When it started making the exact same noise I went back. Was told it's cold so wait till summer and for parts to break in. Went again same answer. NO record of discussions. Last time manager said They discounted the bill so it's like I never paid for the extras? I paid thousands for fix something that wasn't fixed. He blew me off. Then tells me oh it is actually this that's wrong not really what you paid to fix. Showed me on a paper in a notes area where other fixes were discussed when it absolutely wasn't. The main person I dealt with was fired. No tmi, had a good convo about life events I was going through that had affected my brain. In any case, $3000 some odd later, the manager blew me off. Wouldn't listen. No proof bc all employees were fired since then. They didn't document anything discussed at any appointment. Just what they "should be " for the businesses wallet. Literally said he has a business to run and doesn't have time for this and walked away! He was demeaning, condescending, rude, unprofessional, and what those employees did was reckless and he treated me as though he knew better because I'm just a woman. I'm not kidding, I felt like I was thrown back in the 1950s.. I wanted my money back to go elsewhere to get it fixed properly or they fix it properly for free. Nope. He laughed. His way was the truth. What's on paper. Truth. Undocumented truth, doesn't exist so it never happened. That's it. I signed not even seeing this extra stuff. I was under duress due to what I cannot mention here. Whatever you do, if you need any big repairs, don't go here. There are a lot more reviews like mine elsewhere. If you want a basic oil change, you're fine. Update: I forgot to add that that new battery got? It died last night and had to get a jumpstart in a parking lot at 9 o'clock at night. Other batters last me at LEAST 5-6 years, this one just a little over a year! Now I'm nervous to go out and I'm too scared to go back to the business. I can't afford to take it somewhere else to have it tested, and God forbid replaced.

My experience was very limited but exceeded expectations. My…read moregirlfriend and I are in Sedalia for a wedding. My check engine light came on as we were driving here. Because I have a Rav4 when my check engine light comes on it overrides my 4 wheel drive, cruise control, and skid control. Today's forecast is 8 inches of snow up to 3 feet in the mountains. I knew the check engine light is a malfunction because my software needs updated and isn't recognizing that my O2 sensor was replaced. All I needed was the check engine light reset so I could have 4 wheel drive to get back to Denver in the snow and ice tonight. Midas up the road turned me away. Initially the kind man, Andrew, who greeted me offered for me to pull up and pop the hood so he could let me know what size wrench to buy so I could unplug my battery and reset it myself. Once I had the hood popped he was helpful enough to detach it himself, make pleasant conversation while we waited a few minutes, and reattach the battery. It was a success, my 4 wheel drive is back and I feel so grateful that Andrew was able to give us peace of mind for our drive home tonight.

He said, well one of the spark plugs was cracked so we have to get a new one. picked up the truck and less then a day later the check engine light comes back on. Brought it back in and they said well "we figured it might be the coil packs." WHAT you are telling me for $1200 you replaced the spark plus and NOT the coil packs...interesting. Said, well can hook it up to the reader on Monday and see what the problem is...the problem was that the spark plugs needed changed along with the coil packs. Will NEVER recommend and will NEVER go back. Lack of customer service and experience. If you don't know how to fix a vehicle you should just say so!

They said it was the thermostat which we had suspected, paid them to replace it and they sent us on our way. The day after we had gotten the car back, it overheated on my daughter. We took it back and they said that it must've been a faulty thermostat and said they replaced it again and sent us on our way the second time. Again, it overheated. Took the vehicle into another shop and they confirmed a bad thermostat after we had already paid to have it replaced by Tim and gave him the vehicle 3 times to fix it. Tim then proceeded to tell us it wasn't the thermostat after all, we needed the water pump replaced. This is a newer Ford Explorer, not hard to diagnose, yet they somehow missed the "correct" diagnosis the few times. Bad mouthed the other shop. Tim also needs to understand that customers in his shop can overhear him cussing and badmouthing customers when he is on the phone. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau, but hoping to save others from this frustration and loss of money.
