Sicola's Florist has always been my husbands to go floral shop he drives all the way from Tomball to the Jones Location for some time now. Every valentines my coworkers look forward to seeing my flowers just as I do. And Every year Sicola's outdoes themselves, the arrangements get bigger and bigger and prettier and prettier. Today my flowers were delivered by my brother and I noticed there were only 31 roses and not 36 the baby breath flowers my husband requested were not in the arrangement according to the florist he thought it would be too much for the arrangement so he decided he would not add them, mind you this is after my husband had already discussed exactly what he wanted personally with JIM the florist the day before. He specifically asked for 36 roses red,white and pink, baby breath along with hydrangea, calla Lilies and Lilys and paid $350. When he found out it was not the exact thing he had requested he was upset! When you are paying $350 you should be able to do exactly what the customer is asking for!! My husband stopped at the floral shop today and spoke to the Jim and the manager and they had the nerves to say my brother must have taken the rest of the roses because they counted 36 roses!!! Jim also said they ran out of white roses so they just assumed pink and red were ok and also thought the baby breath was going to be too much so did not bother to add them!! Why wouldn't they call to tell him or why charge $350 when you are not going to get what you asked for. This is definitely NOT Ensuring Complete Customer service satisfaction like the owners Judy and Shawna state!!! This is not STELLAR service all they told my husband is that they can give him the 5 roses didn't bother to say Sorry or tried to make the problem better. My husband ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day. I was quite surprised (not in a good way) at what was delivered. I shop at the Barker Cypress location and their arrangements are always very lovely. Turns out, orders and deliveries are processed from the other store location. The location on Barker Cypress is 1000 times way better. The staff there is very nice and accommodating. Miss Judy made me a new gorgeous floral arrangement. She is so very talented and takes great pride in her work! Miss Debi (the manager) is always extremely nice and helpful. She was amazing! They really want you to be happy with your order. Buyer BEWARE! Ordered online for a Valentines day gift to my wife thinking I was supporting a local owned business. Apparently not!! As the arrangement delivered by a third party florist, minimal water and already wilted. One would think for $130 plus dollars, a company would take pride in their work. Oh well! I came in on Christmas Eve for a Christmas centerpiece and wasn't to sure about the arrangements I saw in the cooler, but I was helped by a really sweet, young girl and to my surprise she helped me pick out what I wanted and really create something different. I usually don't write reviews, but I wanted to share that I will no longer be going to HEB and Kroger to grab some flowers that will waste in a couple days- at this store the extra buck you pay definitely goes a long way. I scheduled a flower delivery 2 days in advance to my wife at her place of work. It meant a WHOLE lot for me to have this happen. I have never been so disappointed in my life. I called this florist 7 times throughout the day asking for updates and was told EVERY TIME that the flowers will be delivered before 5:00 pm. I was GUARANTEED! I depended on them. They could have at least warned me, which would have allowed me to come by and pick them up myself, or have someone else deliver them, but guaranteeing delivery before 5, multiple times throughout the day? And then failing to come through!!!??? I called the florist phone number from 450 - 5:05 PM for 15 minutes straight trying to talk to someone, and it rings for three minutes and disconnects. This location did our wedding flowers. I was a little hesitant at first I felt like Constance wasn't understanding what we wanted. I was wrong to have doubted her. Our flowers were perfect. Absolutely terrible service. My boyfriend tried to send flowers to the hotel I was staying at on our anniversary and he got a confirmation email that said that it was delivered to his extremely detailed instructions. I checked with the front desk and the flowers were not delivered. I got into an argument with the hotel and they looked everywhere but they could not find it. We thought it was the hotel's fault because when my boyfriend called Sicola they insisted that the flowers were signed for at the hotel and even gave a name of the person who signed for it. That person does not exist at this hotel nor any hotel in this vicinity. We had to contact Sicola many times to get them to admit that they made a mistake and they gave so many excuses, including the driver's personal problems that affected his delivery that day. In the end the flowers were delivered but they were not worth all the trouble they had caused. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SERVICE. read more

They delivered these and claim they didn't arrange the flowers, just delivered them for the fromyouflowers website. My daughter ordered flowers for my birthday through From you flowers. They sent the order to Sicolas to arrange and deliver the flowers. They were awful. The roses were dead after two days. When I called to complain, they weren't interested and told me to contact the internet company. No joy from them either. It doesn't matter where the order originated, these flowers should have been of a better standard. Oh and to make matters worse there was a card in the arrangement mentioning a baby boy. I am very disappointed with the services I have received. I place an order for a flower arrangement to be delivered Friday and now it is Saturday and the order has yet to be filled. The arrangement was suppose to be delivered to the funeral home it was not. I then had to get the families home address so the flowers could be sent there and they were not. Mother's Day Disaster My husband tried to purchase corsages for me and my sisters-in-law for Mother's Day and wanted a special corsage for my mother since my family was visiting from overseas for a graduation and a once-in-a-lifetime family reunion. He looked for a white cattleya orchid, so he called 1800flowers. He was referred to this local 1800flowers store where they said that they could order one. He ordered the corsages and paid for them on 4/30. Then the store called him one day before it was to be picked up and said that the cattleya had arrived crushed. She said that if we would agree to substitute something else, she would not charge the full price. He said if she could get a white cymbidium we would accept that. . Since we had to go out of town for a college graduation on Saturday, he arranged to pick the corsages up the first thing Saturday morning. When he picked them up, he was in a hurry and he did not check the charge receipt. The cymbidium was old and started to wilt the next day (Sunday). My family and I left Monday morning for Los Angeles, so we could not contact the florist within 5 days per their policy. Later (about a month), when I found out from the credit card statement that they charged us the full price and did not give us credit back, I contacted them, they denied saying that they would not charge the full price. The cymbidium is a cheaper flower than a cattleya and it was past its prime. The florist refused to take responsibility and the owner of the store refused to talk to me. The Houston manager did not know what to do and has no authority to do anything. 1800flowers has been unresponsive with the corporate office saying I must deal with the local florist and the local florist saying they have to follow the corporate directions. They never gave my husband an itemized receipt. When I went to store to ask for a receipt to get the facts straight, they threatened to call the police. This is most dishonest and poor service and the rudest company I have ever seen. Here is the most ironic and laughable thing: The store offered a 10% off on my future purchase. We received an arrangement from them thru 1800flowers.com yesterday and it looked as tho the delivery person stopped by a roadside stand, grabbed 2 random pots of green plants, threw them in a haphazard wicker basket with yellow lace cellophane pare and brought them to my wife. This is after she had just had surgery for breast cancer! And for this pitiful excuse of an arrangement I got charged almost 100.00. Oh excuse me...I forgot they had tied a Get Well Mylar balloon to this concoction! When I called the corporate office this morning to complain, Mary was rude and wanted to know what I wanted them to do about it? They could redeliver it...I asked how I could be sure that the same thing wouldn't be delivered again and she had no answer! I told her to give it a try but I would really like a refund so I could get Tommie something befitting a cheerful arrangement and was told that if I wanted a refund, I would have to take that up with 1800flowers. Sicola's is a contractor that they use.... 1800etc. is resending from another florist and hopefully it will bear a strong resemblance of what I ordered. And they apologized and assured me that it will be addressed. I will NEVER call on Sicola's florist for any of my needs in the future simply based on the level of customer service I received from the corporate office this morning! I don't know if Sicola's thought that I'd never see what they sent or if they really don't care what goes out with thier name on it. I'm slightly torn on what rating to even give. Overall, I'd say the experience was less than satisfactory. Right off the bat, I had a gut feeling it wasn't going to go smoothly for a couple of reasons. I never received confirmation of any kind that my order being processed after it was placed. At first I thought, no big deal. People get busy, systems don't always function correctly, could have just been an oversight--life happens. After several failed attempts of trying to contact them, I started to worry. Fast forward to about 4pm and all the sudden flowers appear! The only reason I even found out that the flowers were delivered, was because I just happened to walk by my bosses desk and see them--yet still had heard nothing from them. To add to that, had I not asked about them, she would have had no idea who they were from, because my name was somehow left off the message that was to go with them. Maybe I'm just an awkward person, but having to bring it up and explain they were from me was clearly less than ideal and actually kind of uncomfortable. What was supposed to be a nice surprise, ended up being kind of a headache. Leave for the day, happy that they in fact were delivered, but was still kind of puzzled why there was such confusion. After I called 5 more times on my way home to no avail, I decided to stop thinking about it for the day, and decided I would revisit it again the following day. I finally received a confirmation of delivery email at 3:37 in the morning! Tried to contact them first thing this morning and guess what? You got it! No one answered again!On one hand, the flowers did arrive and were fairly close to what I ordered--so no complaints on their actual work as florists. But on the other hand, their customer service is clearly lacking. I just don't think I should have had to worry so much if they were coming at all, much less coming on time. Simple standard communication between those who are providing a service and their customers is fairly essential to running a business, and in that aspect they failed miserably. read more

I was in a crisis trying to locate a local florist to accommodate a last minute sympathy arrangement for same day delivery in the late afternoon of August 1, 2016. Lee who took my call could have easily turned me away due to the fact that SICOLA was ending their day with order taking and were preparing the start of deliveries for the evening. Instead, Lee took the time to listen to my concern and without hesitation began to take my order and fulfilled it to the best of her ability. Today August 2nd, the recipient was truly moved on what a BEAUTIFUL Sympathy arrangement had been prepared for their family. God's hands were over Lee and the floral designer (Consuelo) as the arrangement was designed in the loved one's favorite colors!
