It is handicap accessible and has an elevator available. There are many restrooms and many places to dine from. Sometimes there are food trucks available on a certain level if you're not wanting the regular stadium food. Parking in the lots on event days costs $20, but unless you get to the venue early, it may be your best option. Also there are restaurants across in Uptown you can eat at before or after your event. Pro Tip: Don't count on the restaurants to be open if your event ends after 10:30ish. Most are closed. Eat before or drive elsewhere.

Tickets were half as much as they were in Atlanta so I drove to Birmingham for a mini-break! Parking can be pre-purchased online starting at $20 but there was a line of cars to enter so arrive early. Even though I had $25 nosebleed seats (shoutout to Live Nation's 1/2 off sale), the screens made it easy to see and the acoustics were great! Both performers were AMAZING! The line moved fairly quickly and I had no issues with security or staff (unlike State Farm). But an end row seat meant I had to frequently stand to to let people in. Patrons were super friendly. We all sang along to Maze's "Before I Let Go" as we exited. Rest in heaven Frankie Beverly.. I didn't order anything or use the restrooms so I can't comment on the amenities or food yet. The late great John Denver performed the first concert at the BJCC coliseum (known today as the Legacy Arean) on Sept. 28, 1976! Growing up, the BJCC was a big entertainment destination because few and far between were the "great" entertainment acts who visited my hometown of Huntsville, AL. Over the years, I've seen lots of great acts at the BJCC, including Van Halen [pre Van Hagar days] numerous times starting in August 1981, the legendary The Who on November 30, 1982, Kid Rock numerous times, and attended an excellent Alanis Morisette show here! It's nice to have the Uptown Entertainment District nearby and the extensive modernization of the arena in 2020 enhanced the lighting and sound systems, concessions, and amenities for artists. We literally parked and walked across the street to the venue. The crowd was elderly but that was to be expected because of who was on the show. Big kudos to the contractors who made sure there was plenty of benches in front of the arena. You almost never see that for these places. We went through security very quickly although there was a thousands of people coming through the gates. As soon as you walk in you can identify where you will be sitting. I had to take an up escalator to my section. I was sitting in Section 129 Row V. Handicap seating. Best seating in the house. No one is sitting in front of you and you are able to stretch your legs. Very comfortable. The ushers were on the job. Concessions was quick and easy and affordable. The only down side is the sound was trash in the beginning but they got it together very soon. It was an amazing show.

Parking for a game is actually easier here than most stadiums because there are numerous lots around campus and you are shuttled over by trolley. Tailgating is at the quad with the west side being free. Just drop off your gear before you park. As for the stadium itself, it's more of an experience. Getting through the gates is a breeze because there are so many of them. Seating is typical college football seating but most throughout the stadium give you a good view of the game. The fan experience is incredible here especially if you know the culture of Alabama. Singing along to Dixieland Delight and Rammer Jammer to yelling Roll Tide Roll for Bama first downs is all part of the culture. However, locating my seat was not easy. The event staff wasn't very helpful. The few I saw. The seating was not clear based on what was printed on the ticket..... I just sat wherever. Pretty much all of the seats were decent at this event. Overall, this was a fun sporting event. I would like to see more workers available to assist guests. Also better signage to help navigate throughout the venue.

We had a really good time watching this baseball game; even though I refuse to go for Alabama. Food prices were higher than that of an Alabama football game and the atmosphere just wasn't there. A player had hit a ball a little past us and my son jogged over there to see if they would toss it up to him and the security guard immediately got disrespectful with my son. We continued to watch the game when my son walked over there to see if the player warming up the outfielder would toss it up and the security guard again proceeded to get nasty and rude with my son and talked to him like he was poop on the bottom of someone's shoe and then proceeded to say something again as my son was walking away and almost back to our seat. Also, baseball field is kind of uncommon pick for wedding venue! Overall it was a great experience. There were at least a couple hundred guests, but we had the whole place to ourselves - pretty much the entire day. It was a great celebration with the ceremony being a mixed Indian/Christian wedding! The venue itself was big enough to accommodate some special requests. The ceremony started with the groom riding a horse. Then he switched the back of pickup truck that was blasting music. Everything else was inside, but the night finished with fireworks! I heard that the 'before' pictures were actually taken on the field itself. All of this was within the venue, so that was really nice as a guest.
