    LSU vs Alabama 01/14/2023

I know, I know. . .yes it is time for something new but currently this is where you can watch the Alabama men's and women's basketball and gymnastics. My four stars represent the availabilty of free paking or with paid passes and shuttle service. Also, I appreciated the ease of entering the coliseum and finding our seats. Plus it didn't hurt to witness a victory with Alabama's win over LSU (Saturday, 01/14/2023). Now the food options and the prices do not wow me but typical I guess with hot dogs, conecuh sausage, sodas and I think I saw burgers. So until we hear the great news of a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility, this is it. Please don't hesitate to at least experience a game or two or a gymnastics meet at the current facility with the hopes of something new in the near future. #RollTide!!!

I will try and make this review as unbiased as possible. I actually got over my Tuscaloosa hatred years ago when I had to work both football and basketball games. The city itself isn't all around great. But it is way better than how I grew up imaging and experiencing in small doses. But this coliseum is garbage. I know plenty of Alabama fans that agree with this sentiment and would take a change in a heartbeat. First, the good. They have great parking and transportation options. You never have to worry about waiting too long for anything. Including concessions. The concourse is pretty decent size. But not super impressive. Just enough to avoid bottle necks. The inside is the worst part. It blows my mind that it looks like an airplane hanger. But the court runs the opposite of how the hanger should be lined up? But even aside from that, if you sit more than 20 rows up, you are really far from the floor. I have even been to gymnastics meets that I got seats to and felt like I need binoculars to see. I hope for the sake of Alabama's athletic department, they can figure out something better. My friends who are fans deserve that.

Pretty great atmosphere when the Tide is winning. The seats along the sidelines are pretty far from the floor. The biggest secret is the best seats you can get are behind the basket, it gets you closest to the floor. New arena is coming soon but this is a great place to visit to if you haven't seen a game here yet.

Most recent visit here was nothing short of amazing. The staff were extremely helpful every step of the way. From parking to concessions everyone had a smile on their face and was more than willing to help. And to put the icing on the cake, Bama was able to pull out a win against a top ranked Oklahoma team. Enjoyed my tour of the upgraded facility after the game by the coaching staff. Thumbs up!

Take the game in from the bleachers, seat back chairs, or bring your own chair and sit in the brickyard and catch a home run ball. There is nothing like the excitement of a Bama softball game. Find out when there are giveaways or days when the team comes for pictures and autographs. There is a real culture here for the players to appreciate the fans and especially for the players to encourage the next generation of softball players.

I've been to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City (for a Bama game, of course), and this place is right on par with it, despite not having quite the seating capacity. Bama regularly leads the country in attendance with this venue, and is easily one of the best in the country, when it comes to any softball facility, particularly an on-campus venue. The stadium has hosted many NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals, and played host to some big games. Seating is plenty, and there's honestly not a bad seat in the house. The arena is located conveniently on the UA campus, just off of Hwy 82, a few blocks from the men's baseball stadium. Much of the main seating area is covered by a really nice canopy as well. Oh, and it's the home of the NCAA Champion Crimson Tide (yes, the softball team wins titles as well!).
