A thorough initial assessment led by Dr Fern White revealed a pretty bleak outlook without comprehensive treatment. This came as no surprise after some 70 years of dental work, latterly much of it just patching up. Offered three options I chose the top programme. Some months of intensive treatment later, thanks to Dr Mikhil and colleagues I now have a set of strong teeth and a confident smile. I cannot speak too highly of this practice where the different skills of the team are brought together effectively and caringly . Everyone seems to know who you are and what stage your treatment is at and problems along the way are rapidly addressed. Whilst the initial outlay seemed a challenge, it was actually a very good deal for the hours of work and complexity of treatment I received.

I had stressful experiences as a teenager with rough dentists, but I really needed some help. The whole team at Beacon Cove are friendly and always eager to help me feel at ease. I got a full plan of my treatment and now that it is finished I feel like a new man. Their attention to detail was amazing, it was perfection or nothing for them. I am so thankful to the dentists and nurses who were always patient with me and acted very kindly, as I am sure I was being a bit childish at times. He adopts state of the art technology at his practice and has a network of respected and esteemed specialists in Melbourne which placed me in the hands of one of the best Periodontal surgeons in the state. My husband required complicated extractions and jaw surgery. Dr Paino was available outside of business hours on his personal mobile to provide support to my husband late at night when he was extremely unwell after being released from hospital. Last month my son was due to fly interstate but was unwell with an infection related to wisdom teeth. We messaged Dr Paino on a Saturday night to seek his advice and he immediately responded and provided a telehealth appointment and arranged for a script to be sent to a 24 hour chemist. This meant our son was well enough to travel a few days later. We can't thank him enough for his expertise, kindness and willingness to provide such out of scope help and support without expecting anything in return. The dentist was lovely, even if he did break my heart by telling me that grazing may be the best thing for your waistline, but the worst thing for your teeth. Darn decay. He was constantly checking in throughout the procedure making sure I was still comfortable, which was very reassuring. I was happy with the work, it was expensive like all dentists are, but would definitely recommend them.

The dentist I didn't see for that long, but he was very straight forward and approachable, I will have a better feeling when I get my xrays next time. My hygenist was young, friendly and did a good job on being gentle even with the sonic teeth cleaner thing. As a first time patient you get a nice candle ( I know, it was a little weird but hey a nice free candle is always appreciated) a bunch of travel toothpaste, gum and other stuff. Overall I was exteremly satisfied, the only thing I can complain about is that it felt *slightly* rushed. Maybe because the office, which is in two seperate parts of the building was larger and had more staff than I have been used to. I am very happy with this ultra modern dentist and felt like they hire friendly knowledgeable people. Time will tell if it continues to refine its services or if it declines and tries to pump as many people as possible through its doors. I am hoping for the former.

I can honestly say that I have found Purity Dental to be the most professional and effective provider of dental treatment. Dr Paul has a very good knowledge of his work and has a good relaxed attitude. His relaxed attitude helps to relax patient like me and most importantly - painless treatment. Their infection control is impeccable which is really important for root canal as there needs to be a sterile field. The dentist was really thorough he checked my perio ( gums) and took an x-ray , he is also excellent at numbing up usually it takes me ages I was numb within 2 minutes which was great. I couldn't be more happy with the service of the dentist and his dental assistant who was friendly and efficient . My tooth now has a favourable prognosis he even managed to get part of a broken file out which is nearly impossible even for specialists . I have seen it time and time again people getting teeth extracted because it is cheaper but replacement options are just as expensive and they don't last forever not even implants. My advise as a dental assistant to anyone who needs root canal is to make sure they use a rubber dam to isolate the tooth from bacteria and also to help you to avoid swallowing the bleach solution used to irrigate the tooth, look around to ensure the staff aren't touching anything with their dirty gloves this can spread infection via other patients and know that root canals should not be painful it is the dentists job to be able to numb correctly. Don't sit there in agony, tell your dentist, they have an ethical obligation to stop and give you more anaesthetic The staff here tick all those boxes I couldn't be happier I would recommend them to anyone .
