Nice clean establishment. The service was attentive, overly attentive when running to take our order, did not grove time to even look at the menu. Kept our drinks refilled though. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. The chicken burrito, a new menu item, was stuffed with char grilled chicken black beans and rice, with queso underneath. The queso tasted great. Once vochos opened, Si Señor has gone downhill. The service used to be friendly and positive but the staff has recently changed and the service personnel is more aggressive. This is not true Mexican food if that's what you're used to. And the poor service from the tattooed up woman with drawn on pink eyebrows does not compensate for the staff change in the least. read more

This is a quaint Hispanic restaurant. It has a flight of margaritas that are in refreshing flavors. For an appetizer you need to try the fried avocado. Who knew this would delicious? For dinner we ate the lobster enchiladas. read more

I miss the OG Si Senor when. O Mexican restaurant in town compared to it. Now it's just not great anymore. I would so much rather head a block away to the other amazing local Mexican restaurant any day. Let's start with the salsa. They used to have this amazing white one. Now it's just their regular one and it's average. The chips are really good. Tonight I ordered the quesadilla del mar because I didn't see the usual del mar meal on the menu. The positive reviews on this place confuse me. Immediately upon entering we were turned off by how bad it smelled!! It's food mixed with nail salon aroma. Their "leather" booths are torn up and actually sticky and dirty. The staff was inattentive and unfriendly! We left before ever ordering and we will never be back. Gross! read more

There were about eight or so of us gringas in our party. Myself and one other had a couple of questions about dishes and drinks we weren't very familiar with. Our waiter--I don't remember his name--was very impatient and made it obvious that we were taking up too much of his time (despite not being very busy). We eventually got our food--and it was good--but when we did need our waiter again for refills or extra napkins, it was hard to locate him. I think the manager sensed the situation, as he swung by our table a few times to make us laugh and give us refills. He's the only reason this review is getting 3 stars, instead of 1 or 2. I hope their staffing situation improves, because my friends and I would like to try other dishes, but we don't want to feel bothersome the entire night. read more

Came to eat here after shopping at Walmart. Menu looked really good. They had a QR code to scan for menu but we couldn't load it on phone so we got the paper menu. They had a lot of great things but I chose soft shell taco.. don't see that often in Mexican restaurants.. it had really great flavors but once I bit into the crab it didn't seem right. I cut open and it wasn't cooked all way through. The meat was still kind of clear so we informed the manager who was very courteous and helpful. He took it off our bill and apologized. Like I said not a bad experience or meal it was just something I wanted to bring to cooks attention in hope it wouldn't happen to someone else. We would recommend the restaurant because it had so much to offer, so many things to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to trying it again in future. read more

Wow- whoever answers their phone is the RUDEST person I have ever encountered. They made a mistake with my order, an order that I have ordered multiple times in the past. When I called to explain what happened, the crude woman spoke over me, told me it was all my fault because I didn't specify a meat (I hit the reorder tab, so I was getting exactly what I ordered in the past) and she continued to talk over me, was the rudest person I've ever encountered. She cut me off and started accusing before I could even explain what happened. Then raised her voice at me and she told me I could drive there and get a new one. When I told her I didn't want to go there because she is being rude- she hung up on me. I am fuming. I loved Si Señor and this miserable, horribly mean human being is the reason I will not return. What a shame. I have never been treated so cruelly in my entire life. Plus- I'm out an expensive meal from Grub hub. Also- I'm a vegetarian and ordered the burrito gordo regular, which is vegetarian. This place has some awesome daily specials! We came in on Monday and sat on their patio which has some new dividers from the parking lot. It's very nice and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We got the chicken and beef fajitas each only $13 and they were sizzling!! Great flavor and all the additions to fill your tortilla. This place has really yummy food. The atmosphere was great and the all the servers were really friendly. I had the Mexican flag chimichanga and the flavor was really complex. The braised brisket had a wonderful spice to it. I think I even tasted a hint of cinnamon. The three sauces were delicious. The red sauce was a bit spicy for me but that's just a personal taste. We had dinner here last weekend while in town and we will definitely be back! This was my first in-restaurant dining experience during COVID and they handled it really well. Certain tables are closed off, staff is wearing masks and gloves, the require you to wear a mask when not at your table, you access the menu through your phone and they even offer contact free paying by just scanning a QR code at the bottom of your check. Food wise everything was fresh and delicious. They come over with chips and salsa when you are seated and we ordered their guac to go along with that. The guacamole was so good, fresh and the perfect consistency for me (mostly smooth but with some chunk). For the meal I got 2 tacos, gabacho and carne asada which came with a side of rice and beans. To mix and match different tacos it's a $1 charge, which was fine. My husband got the rice in paradise bowl which he loved and I would probably get this next time (I tried some of his and loved it). He got the ancho beef short rib, corn, bell peppers and sweet plantains and that comes on top of aaroz verde with chihuahua cheese and a side of chipotle cream sauce. Tucked all the way in Porter's neck, located across the way from Wal-Mart. Near a Sally's Beauty Supply. And a Dollar Store. Yup. So far you'd think it's gonna be Mexican comfort fare. The crazy name, the location.... just burritos and tacos...... Wrong. Get amped up for a thoughtful and innovative Mexican culinary experience. Full of Swerve. Well thought out decor is a pleasing welcome. The Host welcomed us and asked if it was our first time visiting. We said yes, and First the drinks. Whoo. Strong and beautiful with a skillful balance of flavor. I had the watermelon / mint something or another, and a friend had the sangria, another friend had a mojito. All were super. I had the Lecho con Mole. With Kale. Kale. Who the heck ever heard of kale at a Mexican restaurant? Nope, me either. Well let me tell you, they did the Mole to perfection and the kale had an original swing. Portions so big for lunch that they fed me for two days. Updating based on visit 11/14/20. The table we were seated at had crumbs on it. It took about 10 minutes before our waitress came over to take our drink order even though there was only a few people dining in. Appetizer: Corn was missing a lot of kernels. Perhaps it should be taken off the menu when not in season? Entrees: My quesadilla was clearly microwaved or sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time (scalding plate and set/firm sour cream). The steak inside was over cooked, likely from being reheated. There was very little cheese. I couldn't even tell there was cheese on it until the last few bites where it must have pooled. My husband enjoyed his meal (rice in paradise) but it was literally half the size it was the last time we were there. He left still hungry. My son loved his burrito. The chips and salsa were good. Daily specials looked nice. Got a $3 special strawberry margarita. It was tasty but for $3 there definitely wasn't a lot of alcohol in it. Chimichanga was a large portion but didn't come with any rice or sides. Hubby got enchiladas and he really liked them and they came with a nice side of guac and rice. Decor is nice. My friend and I stopped in here for dinner one evening and had an excellent experience :-) the decor was bright and fun. Upon being seated we were provided with a trio of Salsas to try. One salsa was a red staple that you would get almost everywhere. Another was a white dipping sauce that our waitress likened to yum yum sauce with their own twist. My personal favorite was the tomatillo salsa with fresh pineapple. For my meal I opted to get tacos with carnitas and an unheard-of combination: mashed potatoes. It really was delish! My friend ordered a seafood dish with shrimp in a citrus butter sauce with rice and a sloth on the side. We are both pleased with our meals. First time eating here. We were initially on our way to go shopping, but decided to go ahead and eat out this evening. We decided to give this place a try as it was fairly new to the area. Upon walking in you're met with a very busy, but pleasing atmosphere of colors and visual stimulants. We really thought it was pretty cool inside. Aesthetically pleasing for a Modern Mex appeal. We were immediately seated in a booth which we prefer. The server took our drink orders and once he returned with our drinks we were ready to order our meals. The wife ordered the Tortilla Soup, our son ordered the Chicken Burrito without beans, and I ordered the Chicken Burrito with beans. I also ordered a beer from their short draft list. They also provided us with a great chips and salsa dish to munch on while we briefly waited for our food. When the food was delivered to our table it was similar to modern art with a Mexican flare. The burrito's, soup, and beer with chips and salsa certainly appealed to our appetites and satisfied our hunger issues we were suffering from prior to arriving here.
