Unreliable doesn't even come close to describing this awful company…read more Left us stranded and refused to give a refund. - NO kiosk in the arrivals hall as mentioned on the instructions - NO signs outside the arrivals hall to signal where to be picked up from - NO working telephone number to call to ask for assistance Asked multiple people both inside the arrivals hall, and at the bus/shuttle stations but no one had seen a Redy2Go shuttle bus in at the airport in months with some not even recognising the name at all. If you value your safety and your money, Avoid Avoid Avoid! And just set aside some money and Uber it instead. It's safer and a lot more reliable.

We were quickly sold a round trip ticket and paid up front. It took over an hour to get to the hotel, when a can or an Uber would only take 20 minutes. It was ridiculous! I then called the next morning to cancel the return trip but was told it was Non refundable as it says on the WEBSITE, which I did not book. The guy who sold it only told me that if I had any changes to call at least 24 hours ahead of time ... well this was 4 days ahead but no. The operator then proceeded to tell me to go back to the airport and see him directly then... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Posted on 12/21/2019 after calling to cancel the return trip and being told there is a no refund policy. At checkout from out hotel, we were informed that the shuttle was here to pick us up. Are they really that inept they couldn't correct this with 4 days notice? The poor employee / driver was so nice and said he wasn't notified, and I really hope there weren't passengers waiting to get somewhere. Just goes to show you how pitiful this company is. DO NOT USE company or ask the old bags at the information booth for advice.

WARNING TO THOSE WHO THINK BOOKING EARLY WILL SAVE YOU TIME/MONEY…read more... I would like to be looked after better for having the organisation to book more than a month in advance with regards to the quotes. I have checked several times on the website after my booking and found cheaper prices than the original quote I booked early Aug. (for Oct). When I contacted the call center, I was met with two girls who were disinterested. One told me simply to cancel that booking and rebook the new price because the prices change all the time. I was told by the other girl that I may get the Passat I booked originally but might get a Toyota Corolla (if I wanted that I'd go to a place that books Toyota!) I'm a bit dubious about continuing with Europcar at this point. I've rebooked it twice and saved about $60 so far with two weeks to go for possible better pricing (not counting on better treatment from the staff). Isn't it easier to service a customer who has made a booking well in advance? Easier to arrange the car required, you know the car is scheduled to be out between two dates. etc. More bookings come in, can arrange to have more cars at that outlet. Europcar Less mucking around too, having booking, canceling the booking and then generating new bookings. Ridiculous. It amazes me how companies continually treat their loyal/valuable/organised customers with contempt or inadequate service. WHY?! Do I think that I'll be treated better because I've written this publicly? Hopefully but not really. Do I think I'll be responded to or contacted about it? Hopefully but not Really. Is it important to voice so others know what to expect. ABSOLUTELY! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! :D ... I'll report more later! :) It is important to note here that I've not yet decided to continue with the booking that I've made. It would be interesting to see if posting these reviews will generate any kind of interest from their management. (And if the response will be to improve their so far poorly image of treating customers well).

While waiting at the airport for the shuttle, I saw a beautiful company van pull away. When the next van pulled up, it was worn out dirty and very crowded for the people. The driver was very professional and polite, but the appearance of the Van was just the opposite. Why keep this unacceptable Van in your fleet and disgrace your company when you have other fans that appeared very nice on the outside.

The schedule showed a pickup…read moreat 0950 (might be 1000 at domestic as I was told by hotel the time is for the international terminal). At 1010 called hotel. They called super shuttle who told them they had already come by. I was in the right spot well before the pickup time and can say with certainly the shuttle never came by the domestic pickup spot. I had taken a video of where I was waiting when I first got to the spot. I emailed a link to super shuttle and they confirmed I was in the right spot. When I then emailed them back saying then the driver didn't drive by as they told the hotel, no response to that email. Disappointing that hotels outsource the airport transportation to this company as they appear to be unreliable. Pre pandemic I had a similar experience with super shuttle. Even if a hotel offers transportation using super shuttle, will instead take Uber in the future

Warning to Visitors in Sydney, Australia: My Experience with GM Cabs…read more On March 11, 2025, I checked out of my hotel and was persuaded to take a GM cab. I had already booked a ride with DiDi (a rideshare service similar to Uber), but the hotel staff assured me that GM Cabs would cost about the same and was available immediately, so I wouldn't have to wait. Trusting their advice, I took the GM cab at 6:20 AM to the airport, which is 11 kilometers away. My DiDi fare was quoted at $41.00, so I expected the GM cab to cost no more than $45 at most. Upon arriving at the airport, the meter displayed $41.95. When the driver asked if I was paying by cash or card, I chose card. To my shock, I was charged $71.25 instead. I immediately emailed GM Cabs to report the issue, but to my dismay, they never responded. Warning: Avoid GM Cabs when visiting Sydney. Instead, use reputable alternatives like 13cabs, DiDi, general taxis, or public transportation.

Then the meter was rolling so fast on the motorway but then noticed as we were at a stop at a intersection, the meter was still rolling as fast like we were on the motorway. As I got to my destination, he added another 12 dollars on top and said "that's my tip you uave to pay".....this is Australia. You can't pull stuff like that here. 150 in total for the ride. Was so mad when I got home and I compared the price if I used uber, it would've been 42 dollars on Uber. Lesson learned. No taxis for me ever. Especially gm cabs
